Information

The Society will shortly be entering it’s 114th year of continuous activity in September 2003

As could be expected of such a well established group it numbers amongst it’s membership several of New Zealand’s leading photographers of long standing. They willingly contribute to helping the less experienced improve their work using both traditional film methods and the newer digital process

Meetings are held in either the Kakapo room or the adjacent Hutton Theatre with entrance through the Dunedin Museum staff carpark off Cumberland Street. Starting a 7.30pm. on the second and fourth Mondays of the month from February through to second Monday of December.

There are regular field trips and other social activities providing regular opportunities for members to share their interests. See Calendarfor details of the 2003 meetings.

The Secretary can be contacted through P O Box 380, Dunedin or else see Officers and Council page

The Dunedin Photographic Society is affiliated to the Photographic Society of New Zealand and regularly helps to stage events on behalf of the PSNZ
