������Zorro is a television series which aired from 1989 to 1993 on the Family Channel about the famous masked hero. The story takes place in the early 1800's. Returning at his father's request from the University in Spain, Don Diego de la Vega finds Los Angeles under the rule of a despotic Alcalde. Realizing to openly confront the Alcalde would only result in his imprisonment, Don Diego decides to resist by using the military's superstition and the cleverness of the fox. He rides dressed in black and masked, like a phantom of the night. Using both his skill with the sword, and his keen scientific knowledge, he fights for the people both against the lawless factor as well as the government. As Zorro he is aided in his quest by his young friend Felipe and his magnificent Andalusian stallion, Toronado.
