Cybill is a 30-minute network television situation comedy which follows an actress, played by Cybill Shepard, as she moves through life, helped (and sometimes hindered) by her teen-age daughter and her best friend. Duncan Regehr guest starred as Trevor, an acting instructor who stirs Cybill's lust. Things seem to be progressing well between them when Cybill encourages him to revive his 'One Man Show.' Full of enthusiam, he leaves her standing to go prepare. Unfortunately the show proves the adage 'Those who can act, act. Those who cannot, teach.' Cybill finds after watching his rendition of 'Shakespeare with Fruit' the fire is gone from the relationship.
