������Gore Vidal's Billy the Kid is a made-for-television movie which aired on Turner Network Television first in 1989. It tells the classic story of the old-west outlaw, Billy the Kid, who began his nefarious career because of the murder of a friend. He then hunted down the men responsible for the murder, killing his way across the west until he, himself, was hunted down and shot by his best friend, Sheriff Pat Garrett.
