Ulungra Springs Fire
Crews from all over the region assisted with this bushfire in remote country.
We deployed a Cat 1, a Cat 7 & a Group Officer for 5 days to this incident.
Dumaresq 1 is on the left, Tamworth 1 centre, along with other tankers from our strike team.

The staging area for the 2 strike teams allocated to this fire was in the middle of no-where. Water was supplied from this 40,000L bulk water carrier.

Mopping up required the constant use of foam & chainsaws to do the job right. We had 2 chainsaw operators on our tanker to share the load.
