I'm spontaneous, a "Pun" person, easy-going, and love an adventure! Don't let my friendly manner fool you! I can also be a VERY serious person, when needed.
Simplistic style, organization, collecting things I find unique, researching whatever strikes my fancy, reading, eclectic tastes regarding music & art, cross-stitching, cooking with or for loved ones, sharing viewpoints with one another, playing the "Devil's Advocate", I'm multi-faceted...an enigma, or so my Mother says...You know Mothers...they are ALWAYS right.
As of June 21, 2000 I became married to my BEST friend. Sometimes we have "Passionate Discussions". That's what we call them anyway. We have been accused of being symbiotic and we can communicate with each other, with out speaking. This came in very handy, when my beloved was in a coma for 5 1/2 months. FINALLY! I was able to get a word in edgewise! Recently, I adopted his 13 year old son. I consider the boy a major blessing in my life. Yes, he can get on my LAST nerve, but what child doesn't? Parenting...it's not just a job...it's an adventure. Since I never have been able to have children, he is just an added bonus. My family, they are those who stand by you, when you have a deep need. I consider some of my friends to be just like family. Who needs "Fair Weather Friends"? Friendship of quality is a delicate balance. Mutual respect & guarding one another's dignity. A true friend should never feel "obligated". Genuine friends do not take advantage of one another. Whatever you give, comes back to you, in one way or another. As with everything in life, I prefer quality, not quantity. So my close friends are few, but they are of the highest quality. Friendships are tested in the trials & fires of life. Some grow stronger thru it. You don't always have to agree to be a friend. In fact, I enjoy a good debate, as long as respect is honored. A friend who doesn't always agree...is a good friend indeed. You know who you are! As a twisted side note, we only need 6 good friends, at the end of the journey. They are the ones who carry your casket.
