Cindy "Tetsuo Freak" de Jesus's art of doom. Her art is very cute and quite unique - most fanartists hack up things with colored pencil and seldom it looks good. (*cough* Me.) Cind here does her fanart in watercolor and let me tell you it's much higher quality stuff than the norm. She was kind enough to send me a sampler of her fanart to slap up here. If you want to see more of her stuff (and oh, she has a lot!), make a beeline for her site. She is also one of the few people out there that doesn't portray Tetsuo as an angry screaming mutant freak like a lot of the people who decide to draw spontaneous Akira fanart one day do. I call that a step up! 

Oh yeah, and she says she's not that good either. Ignore her protests. Ignore them!

Finished Art: Description: Label label?
Cind likes to take panels from the comic and render them again in watercolor. This particular scene was from the sixth manga in the Dark Horse reprints where Tet is being all devious and chucking rocks everywhere. You have to love that white hair there.
This is one of my personal favorites of her stuff. It's little Tetsuo and Kaneda getting ready for some bedtime, complete with fuzzy little slippers. Beware the plaid jamjams. 
Just biker Tetsuo looking at you. Apparently, someone took out their anger on him earlier.

Casual oekaki. Of course, someone turned off the moon and everything just got all dark. Go away, darkness. At least Tetsuo doesn't seem too bothered by this. He's a good sport about it after all.
Birthday Tetsuo picture. Yes, the Akira characters are developed enough for them to merit having a birthday, Tetsuo being no exception. (His is July 29, 2004) Won't you send him some cake? Or a card...?
