great are the names that this organization have produced... and with that should come great mentors... from as far as i can remember the names of ms. gigi velarde david, prof. julita cabbab, prof. araceli fernado and ms. mylene capati was part of the family called DULAANG BEDISTA. this academic year 2004-2005 another great name will be etched on the name of dulaang bedista, Proffesor Arsenio Nick Lizaso, the humble addition to this organization...they say that at first, the official, and we mean OFFICIAL theater group of san beda was named something like, The Bedan Stagers and Teatro Bedista. That was the time when theater was the only form of art here at our humble a bode. proffesor Arsenio NIck Lizaso, the current moderator of Dulaang Bedista is an alumnus of University of the East with the bachelors degree in Speech and Drama and have had a special training at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Europe. He is considered an institution of the Philippine cinema for his invaluable support for the Film Academy of the Philippines and as of this moment he is handling humanities subjects here at San Beda College and film and theater at St. Pauls College Quezon City.
