| Assistant Coach Johnny Dawkins, in his 5 years of being at Duke, has helped the Devils reach 4 consecutive ACC tournament titles, four consecutive ACC regular season championships and has helped them to an outstanding 133-15 record. Dawkins graduated from Duke in 1986, as the schools all-time top scorer. (2,556 pts.) He was a 1986 first-round draft pick (10th overall) by San Antonio, he played in 9 NBA seasons, teams including the Spurs, 76ers and Pistons. He retired 5 years ago, and was inducted into the Duke Sports Hall of Fame in 1996. He has a Wife, Tracy, and four children: Aubrey, Jillian, Blair and Sean. |
