| Capture the Flag WSG is a great game with many shops and heros. This game requires much strategy to win. This game was based off the super popular World of Warcraft, and its battleground Warsong Gulch. This game is EXTREMELY balanced! Heros: Warrior Rogue Mage Druid Priest Warlock Hunter Paladin (Alliance ONLY) Shaman (Horde ONLY) Rules: - Score 3 times to win by picking up the enemy flag (100 exp.) in their base and bringing it back to your base (200 additional exp.) - You may NOT score if you flag is NOT secure - Warriors, Rogues, and Paladins cannot heal themselves while holding a flag, but others can heal them - If the game results in a stalemate due to both teams having each other flag and not ending, a player may type "-return" this takes a vote on returning BOTH flags - After 45 minutes, the game will end with a win for the team with the most points. If it is a tie, sudden death will start, there is one flag placed in the middle of the map. - You may only have one hero - You may only have 2 accessories, 1 weapon, and 1 armor. Items in the secret shop are NOT limited. Hunters/Priests cannot use the last two weapons in the weapon shop. Rogues/Warriors cannot use mana items. - Certain abilites/items cannot be used while holding a flag. There is generally a penelty for trying to do so. - Divine Sheild only deactivates when picking up a flag, but CAN be used while holding a flag - Max hero level is 15 - Dying will result in you having to run to your body as a ghost to revive, or paying the spirit healer. Spirit Healers charge (60*your level) in exp. or 600 gold at level 15. - Carrying a flag slows movement and reveals location - "-repick" allows you to pick a new hero, you will be level 1, read the pop up if you can't repick Notes: - Many people think that Warriors, Rogues, and Paladins are too weak at capturing a flag due to their penalty at not being able to heal themselves while holding a flag. Remember, you can still use a potion and other items right before you pick up a flag. Also, many heros like priests, druids, and shamans make great back up when trying to assist these heros. Once you learn the game more, you will realize that it is more balanced than that may look. 1.0 is Out! 1.0 to 1.01 changes: -Fixed major mistakes with player colors and the multiboard due to changes in 1.0 1.01 to 1.02 changes: - Tooltip mistakes fixed - New terrian based off of WSG from World of Warcraft 1.02 to 1.1b changes: - Typos and color codes fixed - Tower damage tweaks, power moved more from front towers to back - Minor optimizations made - Added a notice if your inventory is full when trying to pick up the flag - Added WSG (Warsong Gulch) to the title - Flooded the game with rules and hints, i'm tired of noobs 1.1b to 1.22 changes: - MAJOR FIX: People can attack the flags and destroy them, fixed - New Feature: Hero repick, costs 300 gold, must sell starting items - You now gain exp. for picking up (100 exp.) and scoring (200 exp.) with the flag - Rare Unicorn Horn is now a weapon - Fixed WoW sounds - Optimizations made 1.22 to 1.23 changes: BUGGED - MANY MANY MANY Bugs Fixed Bugs Include: Repick while dead exploit, not recieving purchased upgrades in some situations, MAJOR sudden death problems, rare revive bug, and other minor mistakes - Towers now attack 33% slower during the first 15 minutes and 33% faster after 45 minutes. This makes it easier to get the flag earlier and harder later - Upgrades have increased cooldown - Towers have more life - Sudden Death now sets your life to 1% when it starts making it more challenging to heal and grab the flag first - Abilities have better hotkeys - Some tooltips and icons fixed/changed - Spawned units recycle 1.23 to 1.23b changes: TOURNEMENT EDITION (The most stable version, this should be used for tournements until a new Tournement Edition comes out) - 1.23 was bugged, this version works 1.23b to 1.24 changes: TOURNEMENT EDITION (The most stable version, this should be used for tournements until a new Tournement Edition comes out) After many hours of work: - Hunters and Priests can no longer buy Violent Corruption (Violent Nightmare) and Pheonix Talon - Immolate mana cost reduced by 20 - Mana Shield level 3 reduced to 2 hp per point of mana absorbed. Level 2 has an activation cost. - Alliance can no longer use mana shield with the Horde Flag. (Bug Fix) - Voting no longer has some unpaused units, vote time reduced to 10 seconds. - Some objectes renamed and animations slightly modifed - 40 second tutorial added, deal with it, it makes the game more fun overall - You can now see the enemy flag spot - Multiboard issues with repicking fixed - Reveal rate when holding a flag is quicker - Usefulness of information provided about heros improved - Other minor bugs fixed 1.24 to 1.3 changes: TOURNEMENT EDITION (The most stable version, this should be used for tournements until a new Tournement Edition comes out) - Many bugs/typos fixed - Holy Nova (heals allies, damages enemies) replaces Mana Burn - Travel Form (40% move speed bonus) replaces Tranquility - Sudden Death has been revamped, there is one flag in the center - Alliance now has shaman and Horde has paladins - Terrain greatly modified in an attempt to remove confusing cliffs - Hotkeys for S and D remapped to D and F - Game time is now 45 minutes with a 3 flag win requirement - Multiboard now shows 12 character names with icons of the hero picked Got Feedback?
