Headlines:
PSN driven out of Brosengae.
ITH getting close to WITs power.
Thurazor as we know it, is no more.
Ghoere is becoming an Iron Fortress.
Early in the month of Erntenir:
The being now belived to be called, "The Warlock" has taken
the eastern part of Thurazor, and added it to his Domain.
As a reaction to this, the army which was whispered to be prering
to invade Stordvik, found themselves fighting the forces of this
Warlock besides the forces of the Goblins.
This went very well the first week. But then after an inncident,
which lead to the death of several hundreds of Boeruine men,
Boeruine went with his bodyguard to see the Goblin King.
We're not sure what this prior incident was, but we know that the
Goblin King refused to accept his responcibility for the affair,
and that he was quite rude about it.
We also know that what followed was this, Arch-Duke Boeruine took hold
of the Goblin Kings neck, with one arm lifted the King up, and then
impaled him on his sword.
Boeruine and his bodyguards then fought, and killed, those who tried
to stop him from leaving.
This action lead to several things, first many goblins fled and join
the Warlock, while other goblins started fighting eachother to decide
who was to become the next king. Others attacked Boeruine troops.
Gavin Tael ordered yet another round of improvements to his fortification
network. While some speculate that a lot of money was used in this,
an official spokesman said that, it was an investment, so the costs
wheren't that big if you looked into what could be saved down the line.
The Mhor was said to have contact with outsiders.
The troops in Brosengaes province Coere, took several steps to make
sure
PSN wouldn't operate in Brosengae anymore. They gathered together all
the priests and acolytes, and sent them packing.
Those who refused was reported beaten.
Late in the month of Erntenir:
As a result of a Investiture between CJS and ITH, ITH now have control
over the small shrine which CJS built in Coere a few months back.
Marlae Roesone hired more guardsmen to watch the people of Bellam.
It's reported that in Taeghas the people has had more money to spend
then
in recent memory. Several could report that they had found a piece or two
of gold in their purses which they could swear never was there before.
Haelyn's Aegies is said to be operating in the northern parts of the Chimeron.
Early in the month of Sehnir:
From the east, we have been getting reports that there have been movement
of the Gorgons
troops. A good part of what the Gorgon has stationed in Rohrmarch, have
been moving northwards.
The government of Ghoere promoted their province of Tireste for new
settler. Although they seemed
to do an exceptional work of it, no new settlers have been seen trickling
in.
Arch-Duke Boeruine is reported to have taken full control over the western
parts of Thurazor.
A lot of the goblins was killed off, while a large part fled over the
border to the parts of Thurazor
that the Warlocks controls.
Late in the month of Sehnir:
ITH gathers up a lot of the followers who used to belong to PSN. The
people wonders why
ITH was allowed to become the ruling faith of Brosengae, over Western Imperial.
The Holy Order of Haelyn's Aegies continued their involvement with the
people of northern parts
of the Chimeron. On behalf of the Chamberlain they are also said to be
in talks with the Chimera.
What the talks are about, are currently unknown.
Early in the month of Emmanir:
The once fair realm of Rohrmarch are no thought to be fully under control
of the Gorgon.
This don't look good for Anuire. Some of the brave people, like Arch-Bishop
Adaron Samesh
tried their best, but their best was just not good enough.
While the coming times look dark indeed, the real men of the Empire
will fight this darkness
with their hearths and soul.
The is rumours of unrest inside the provinces controled by the Vampire.
What caused this are
unknown.
The Sword Mage was briefly seen in Coeranys.
The Mhor was seen training. At his age he needs to keep active not to sink too much together.
Late in the month of Emmanir:
ITH continues to spread in Brosengae.
Roesone sent out the word about new places to settle in Roesone.
Rumours:
*The Sword Mage is an Awnshegh using his powers for the good of the
Empire.
*Several people have latly said to Gavin Tael that they think he'd
be a good Emperor.
*There has for a long time been some unrest in central parts of Avanil.
The root of the
conflict seems to the who should be the heir of Avanil. With Duchess
Aubrae Avan taking
over the mantle of Brosengae, several powerful nobles in Avanil
are supposed to have
voiced that a new heir should be appointed for the throne of Avanil.
*Large dark clouds are now constantly seen over what once was the Five
Peaks.
*Several people remotly related to the Lord of Duene was found dead
at the very end of
this season.
*There is troubles within the organization of BTG.
*In eastern parts of Anuire people have latly felt small shakes.
*Several nobles around in Anuire has already started to prepere for
the upcoming Sword&Crown.
The S&C are less then two years away now, and this one is
though to become the largest one in
a long time.
We have done a new mapping of the relative strenght of the regents
of Anuire.
Here are our findings:
The 5 most powerful nobles of Anuire.
1) Prince Avan. Prince Avan are currently the strongest noble
in the Empire by far.
2) Arch-Duke Boeruine. The Arch-Duke has a stable second place.
If he can made the
northern region more stable in the coming year,
he might rival Prince Avan in strenght.
3) Baron Gavin Tael. Ghoere is the 3rd strongest powerblock in Anuire.
If Roesone gives
more, and better support to Ghoere, Gavin Tael might
soon claim to be the 2nd strongest.
That is if Arch-Duke Boeruine don't succeed in the
north.
4) Elenie. After Elenie become the property of LPA, Elenie has proven
to be a strong realm.
While they have had problems with HA, they have otherwise
been one of the more stable
realms in Anuire.
5) On a tied 5th place we have Alamie and Mhoried.
Both Diemed and Roesone aren't far behind the last two. Neither is
Talinie. If Talinie manage
to rebuilt, and improve their realm a little, they might nudge into
the 5th place.
The 5 most Influencial, and far fletched Faiths.
1) The Western Imperial Temple. This Faith has the most influence
over the most people.
WIT has 1/5th of Anuire as their followers.
2) The Imperial Temple of Haelyn. This faith is just short of taking
the first place.
It has just 1% less followers then WIT, which
isn't very much. With some luck they might soon
Be the most powerful. With Haelynara, they might
actually claim to be the most powerful,
and probably will as soon as the people currently
moving into Haelynara, are settled in.
3) The Militant Order of Cuiraecen are the 3rd largest faith. They
are the Faith with most military
Units though.
4) The Holy Order of Haelyns Aegies are the 4th largest. With the
loss of it's norther branch after
Cariele fell, and WIT moved into Dhosone, HA has
been falling down in strenght.
HA is still belived to be the faith which
has the most influence over the Imperial Government though.
5) NIT has rebuilt itself in Talinie, and with the stable people
in Boeruine to back them up, they have
managed to come up to this place. With
the talks rumoured to be going on between Arch-Duke
Boeruine, and High Priest Torias Griene, NIT
might have the potencial to grow past HA, and maybe
even rival MOC in influence.
ETN is almost as large as NIT, and with no enemies ETN doubtly will
fail in strenght anytime soon.
CJS is just short of being as strong as ETN, and with the lastest
show of goodwill the leader of CJS
have been showing, CJS might grow strong still.
The 5 guilds with the most costumers.
1) Princes Pride is the largest Guild around. Princes Pride nearly
has monopoly in southwestern Anuire.
2) Overland/Hearthland Traders is the only real competicion to Princes
Pride at the moment.
The Guild under Ghorien Hiriele, has a large part of
the trade going on in central, and eastern parts
of Anuire.
3) Not too far behing Overland/Highland Traders, we find Boeruines
Trading Guild.
Boeruines Trading Guild has a defacto monopol
of all trade done in western parts of Anuire.
4) It was a close call, but the combined guilds under MB is the
4th largest.
Some would say it's 3 differnent guilds, but
in effect we will count it as one.
5) Almost indentical in strenght with MB we find Hearthland Outfitters.
After they got control over the trade in Diemed, Hearthland
Outfitters have been counted as one
of the really strong guilds in Anuire. One of the reasons
for this are discussed below.
While some guilds are far flected, it's not always a good measure
how much money they make.
A good example if Hearthland Outfitters, which because of their
good connections in the large
cities in Anuire, as the Imperial City and the Free City of Endier,
can conduct very profitable
trade. If we had counted in the trade factor more in this, MBs guild
probably would only had
the 6th place, and Hearthland Outfitters the 4th, and maybe rivialed
the 3rd place.
The 3 most powerful Wizards.
It's kind of hard judging this, as fx there are supposed to be several
powerful wizards in the
Colleage of Sorcery. We will only take count of the Wizard Regents
here though.
1) Currently we place the Warlock on top. If he's a Wizard are kind
of unknown right now,
but we have several indications for that he is. If
he's behind all the strange magic things
happening in the north, he must be powerful.
2) High Mage Aelies. It's quite probable that HMA is the most powerful
in Anuire.
The High Mage has a good control over the magic in
the southereastern parts of Anuire,
and it's well known that he's a very competent Wizard.
3) Hermedie is probably the 3rd strongest. Some would say it's the
Sword Mage,
but we would suspect it's Hermedie instead. We
base this on her great work of taking
over almost all the magical power in southern Anuire.
Harald Khorien is well know of having lots of magic to draw on. And
he might be close to
becoming as strong as some of the others. We don't know though,
as HK usually are
unavailable doing "Wizard stuff" as his personal assistant calls
it.
