Issue 11 (Fall/553 MR)
Headlines:
Battles in Markazor.
Peace and marriage between Roesone and Ghoere.
Assaination attemt on Prince Avan
Count Aglondier drowned, Senate owners of Ilien.
ITH gains influence in the Chimeron.
Erntenir 3rd:
The Western Imperial Temple used the brunt of this month to launch a special project
to help the ill favoured, poor and sick in Anuire.
The priests walked around in several realms and helped the people as best as they saw fit.
The People was grateful for this, and agreed that none of the other Haelyn organisations
have shown to have anything near the same compassion as WIT has.
Some people in nearby Diemed even grumbled about if WIT operated there, maybe they
too could get a little more hand fast help in their everyday life.
Erntenir 5th:
ITH opened up a new shrine in Caerwil this month. They also agitated on the behalf of the
Baroness.
Erntenir 6th:
As soon as the priests of ITH had stopped beating loyalty into the minds of the Bellams,
they started
grumbling about how unfair Marlae treats them, but the stout watchmen in the area kept a
close
watch over any gatherings and kept any grumbling to the minimum.
Erntenir 7th:
Things where very busy in Elinie this month. While priest agitated in Elinie, there where
also contesting
against HA in Mholien, gathering more followers in Ansien, and moved some armies.
Erntenir 8th:
The Duke of Diemed decreed that any new settlers in Tier would benefit from low taxes, and
the protection
from the castle being built in the province.
Erntenir 9th:
Guilder Kalien opened up yet another trade route from the Imperial City. Heartland
Outfitters has nearly
a trade monopoly when it comes to trade to/from the Imperial City.
Erntenir 10th:
The Goblins of Markazor continued with fortifying Rivenspring, and started a new one in
Brushfire.
Mhoried can probably thank the gods for that the resources are used on forts instead of
troops.
Although it also means that taking any of the more heavily fortified provinces quite hard.
Erntenir 12th:
Gavin Tael oversaw the improvements of some of his castles.
Erntenir 13th:
Mieres started calling for more settlers to go live on Albiele Island. The Governor also
stated
that the rumours of bad loyalty was in no way true, and that no soldier had defected at
all.
Although some had been disbanded a few days hence.
Erntenir 14th:
ITH continued build on their palass. Several people has mumbled that this shows how
currupt ITH
has become.
Erntenir 16th:
An assasin manage to sneak into Prince Avans bedchamber, and backstab Prince Avan.
Now Avan is hardly a normal man, and while he dagger was in his back, and poison was
seeping
into his body, he tok hold of the assasins arm, and broke it, before he produced a dagger
of his
own and planted in the throat of the assasin.
After reciving aid, Prince Avan called some of his advisers and some representatives
from Princes
Pride to himself. Apperently he set together a taskforce to find out who was behind the
attack on
himself.
Erntenir 17th:
Roesone tried to reinstate new sheriffs for those who was killed in the pirate raid a
while back.
The Lord-Captain of Abbatuor insisted that he should have a say in who should be

ETN opened up a shrine on Caelcorwynn.
Erntenir 20th:
Boeruine Trading Guild openend up a new guild in the Imperial City.
Erntenir 21st:
Count Aglondier was found drowned. As Rogr didn't have any known apprentices,
the whole succession thing is something that will prove a problem.
Wizards have ruled Ilien for almost 1100 years and now no prominent wizard is there
to step up on the throne. Conviniently Rogr have made a will incase he had an accident,
or one of his magic tests went wrong.
The Ilien Senate call in all the senators to review the will, and to discuss any
repercussions
of such a will.
Erntenir 23rd:
The army from Overland/Highland Traders moved out from Mhoried.
They then tried to start rebuilding the shops, and warehouses that the Mhor had burnded
down.
But all of the workers who had been hired to do the work, was called to Bevaldruor to
renew
their work permits, so none of the buildings where rebuilt this month.
Erntenir 24th:
Arch-Duke Boeruine was reported to have a little talk with Alam. The next day the Alamian
army
moved back from Mhoried.
Erntenir 26th:
The Princes Pride decided that the Imperial City deserved the best god available, and not
to
mention on time. They claimed that latly secondrate goods had drifted down the river,
and usually a week after when order should have been met.
So in the interest of all, the Princes Pride brought in lots of new goods to replace those
that
Maesil Shippers had to offer.
Sehnir 3rd:
Rhoubhe Manslayer raided Nentril.
Sehnir 4th:
Boeruine tried to lure settlers to start making more farms in Rivien. But with so many
other nice province
to settle, there where too little people to willing to listen.
Sehnir 6th:
ITH recruited some of the followers who used to be members of the RCS. They also build
another temple
dedicated to Haelyn in the northern parts of Caercas.
Sehnir 7th:
Michael Mhoried led Mhorieds forces into Periltrees. Although the army Mhoried led was
very competent,
a large part of those in Periltrees where experienced Dwarves, which made it a long and
bloody battle.
Michael was jumped by several of the enemy, and after a heroic fight by Michael, he was
killed.
Or so it seemed. In the late evening reinforcements came from Elinie, and they made
mincemeat out of
the enemy. The priest representing LPA went and called for Avanis help. And a miracle
happened.
Michael rose, seeminly unharmed beside a nasty scar in his throught.
Sehnir 8th:
The Guildermaster of Taeghas was kidnapped. Pirats was raiding the coast of Taeghas,
and the Guildmasteris reported to be captured by these.
Count Khorien was far from happy hearing the news about the disaperence of his friend,
so he went to his study and started using his magics to find out where Sloere where at
this time.
What Count Khorien discovered where that Guildmaster Sloere was in Mieres.
Sehnir 10th:
After reviewing the candiates the Baroness wanted to hire as new sheriffs, the Lord
Captain
of Abbatuor OKd their employment.

their
interest there to them. Shannon Boeruine signed the agreement on BTGs behalf.

Overland/Highland Traders tried again to built up their interests in Mhoried, but again
the Mhor
put hinderings in the way of the guild.
Emmanir 4th:
Rhoubhe raided Talinie.
Emmanir 6th:
The new guild opened up by the Mhor built several new shops in the province of Tenarien.
Emmanir 8th:
LPA failed contesting HA in Mholien.
Emmanir 10th:
Hearthland Outfitters brought a lot of new interesting wears down from Endier City to the
Imperial City.
That they where the kind that Maesil Shippers used to sell, and that they sold it cheaper
helped
to drive out Maesil Shippers from the Imperial City. Maesil Shippers local representative
had the
following to say: "when two guilds like the Princes Pride, and the Hearthland
Outfitters start using
such unsportmanship methods, we the honorable ones are the ones who have to suffer for
it".
The life in the Imperial City went on as nothing had happened though.
Emmanir 15th:
Prince Avan publicated his findings about who was behind the kidnapping of Taeghas
Outfitters
Guildmaster.
After Count Khorien had found out that the Guildmaster, Prince Avans investigators soon
could
find out where Fasciele Sloere where. At the same time as the annoncements where made a
large
Avanise fleet with several hundred soldiers where crossing the Strait of Aerele.
The herald of Avanil had the following to say:
" Eloele of Mieres are behind several hidious crimes, and the most honorable and kind
Prince
Avan has decided that decent people shouldn't have to be bothered by such an organization.
The priests and the dedicated followers of Eloele of Mieres has 3 days to pack their
things and
get the hell out of Mieres, and any other realm under the guidence of his Highness.
Any goods, building and papers left behind in EOM will be consficated by the state as soon
as the
3 days has expired, and any priests who against better judgement haven't vacated Mieres,
will be
hanged after a brief trail."
Emmanir 18th:
The Avaniese army, helped by the few soldiers in Mieres' employ, seized all buildings
though to
have any connections with EOM. Some people was hanged soon after.
The body of Taeghas Outfitters Guildmaster was found in one of these buildings, obviously
bloodthefted.
After finding out this Prince Avan is said to have vowed that "any EOM scum seen by
any of my loyal
followers are to be killed on sight".
Emmanir 19th:
ITH got more followers in the Chimeron. Of course some commented that they have so many
followers
because those comming to hear the sermons get paid. But then again it must just be evil
slander.
Emmanir 20th:
The Baroness of Roesone had several persons deported from the province of Bellam.
Obviously the Baroness didn't like that some people questioned her ability to rule.
Emmanir 21st:
Overland/Highland Traders has been spreading inside Osoerde. They opened up a new shop
in Moergan this month. To us it seems they are posing themselves for making control of
the rest of the trade in Osoerde.
Emmanir 23rd:
The Temples in Mieres had a field day. ETN and VOM both gathered up some of the followers
that used to venerate Eloele. And WIT started preaching about how the people should
turn their face against teh light, and seek redemtion.
Rumours:
Storm Holtson has gained almost an trade monopoly as the last hold of his major competitor
was removed
this season.
Rhoubhe Manslayer managed to get several useful magic things from the elven castle in
Boeruine.
That he4 managed to get these have helped him be more effective in his raids.
Several domains in the western half of Anuire has talked about doing something with the
Manslayer
once and for all.
Coeranys has as good as fallen. Only a miracle can make Duchess Cariele sit on the
throne of Coeranys
much longer.
People in and around the area once under the name of the Five Peaks think its very
strange that no one has
heard any more from the Eyeless One. Some speculate it has something to do with the new
inhabitant
of the northern parts of the Five Peaks.
Talinie is very hard pressed by the goblins. The one reason they've manged to hold
their ground is
by major suppoert from Boeruine. The Rumours say that Talinie and Thurazor has entered
into
a state of Diplomacy to try to find an peaceful solution.
ITH is reported to be conserting with the Pirates.
Elinie has started looking into how to legal lay claim to the throne of Coeranys.
Most magics done north of the Southern Coast has had a nasty habit of going wrong this season.
Endier is slowly getting ready for a new try to wrest the throne of Mhoried to their cause.
