MAIN STORIES:
Fights against the Gorgon in Breachtur
The Osoerde Civil War is over.
The Faiths of Haelyn and Cuiracen gain opportunity over the Faith of Avani
Large assault on The Five Peaks.
Erntenir 1st:
The troops loyal to the Awnsheg knows as the Gorgon, has been reported to be moving in
large
numbers into Kiergard. Rumours are that a rebellion has started in the eastern parts of
this realm.
Erntenir 3rd:
WIT opened up a new shrine in Portage.
The faith, prosperity, and stability this church has brought to this region seems to
appeals to the people.
Erntenir 4th:
Arch-Duke Boeruine finished his renewal project of Seasedge this month.
Seasege has now among the most modern feels of Anuire, and can boost to have a very
affective
garbage disposal system.
Boeruine also ordered more troops to be trained.
Erntenir 5th:
The courts of Elenie got a big surprise this month, as a nobleman from Sielwode dropped in
with no prior
warning. The Elf soon was greeted properly by the Patriarch, and the courts went into a
new high
of festivals and banquettes.
Erntenir 6th:
The priests of ITH in Bellam spoke of the virtue of following your superiors.
They mentioned especially the line "you shall follow your superiors, as you would
me",
from the Book of Laws.
The Arch-Prelate, Arch-Prefect, and the Arch-Bishop of ITH meet for a week of joint
praying
to Haelyn to get his blessing, and his divine will for the time to come.
Ertenir 7th:
The Holy Order of the Haelyn's Aegies, spoke against the teachings of LPA,
saying they where "weak and subersive". After a week of preaches like this all
of the
former followers of LPA in Achiese had joined HA instead.
Erntenir 9th:
The Duke of Diem went for a meeting with someone in the Imperial City.
Erntenir 10th:
The Militant Order of Cuiraecen did also preach against LPA this month. They continued
their
harrasing of LPA in The Imperial City of Anuire. They meet with great succeess.
LPA has in the last month lost great influnce in all places exept Elinie and Coeranys.
Erntenir 13th:
In northern Roesone, new roads has been built. If this is a preparation for a more
aggressive
line of the Baroness is unknown, but something most believe. With the unstability in
Osoerde, Roesone should rightly feel worried.
Erntenir 14th:
The War in Osoerde seems to be over. With the superior quality and leadership that
Ghoere put behind William Moergan, the last few troops loyal to the Usurper was defeated.
Jaison Raenech was arrested, and sits now waiting for a trial against him.
The charges are rebellion against the Duke of Osoerde, the murder of the late Duke,
and treason against the Duchy of Osoerde.
Erntenir 16th:
Guilder Kalien went to have a little talk with Governor of Mieres this month.
From his demeanour when he returned, it didn't go as well as hoped.
Erntenir 18th:
In Markazor the goblins has started to Fortify Rivenspring.
Erntenir 19th:
Guildmaster Arthien Bortein moved into the Five Peaks today with a large army from
Boeruine.
Boeruines military second in command, went along the army to lead it in battle.
The army was of a good size, but even so it was the brilliancy of the Generals tactics
that
brought the great victory home.
As Arch-Duke Boeruine is though to be the greatest strategist, and tactician in Anuire,
his Military Staff seems not to be far behind.
Erntenir 20th:
Thurazor mustered some troops. They also went into the province of Bloodspaeth early this
month, and this day they decided to join Thurazor.
Erntenir 21st:
The Mhor went into Periltrees to help bring the Law there.
In the meantime his son, Michael Mhoried led the a big assault against the province
Sufhanie in
the Five Peaks. The assault met with success.
Erntenir 22nd:
The Paladin who rules the new formed Haelynara, tried to invest the province of Caerwil,
but was unsuccessful.
Ertenir 23rd:
The Carilion Alam continued to tighen his grip on the law in Alamie. He again seemed to
meet with
resistance in Alamsreft.
Erntenir 24th:
The Thane of Talinie went to talk with her Liege-Lord Arch-Duke Boeruine.
Erntenir 25th:
The High Protector of Tuornen, hired 5 new assistants to the magistrate, and 2 more
Court Officials to make sure the work done in the Capitol is done with the outmost
efficiancy,
and speed.
Erntenir 26th:
The people that once lived in Medoere, continued their Exodus. Those in Roesone and Endier
went entered their repsective ships. Some went to the south-west, and some went
southwards.
Sehnir 2nd:
The reports from Brechur say that the rebellion in eastern Kiergard are crushed.
Those captured alive was taken and hanged up side down along the roads.
Sehnir 4th:
Western Imperial Temple increased their influence over the Imperial City.
WIT is slowly regaining their possision as the strongest temple in Anuire.
Without the backing of Haelynara, WIT would again have the position as the most
powerful temple.
Sehnir 6th:
Another army from Boeruine marched into the Five Peaks this day.
Arch-Duke Aeric Boeruine led the army himself. He had a major victory against the forces
he met.
Goblins from almost every corner of the Five Peaks goes to Thurazor to live their instead.
Sehnir 7th:
Hubare Armendin of the ITH, tried to gather followers in the newly conquered province of
Sufhanie,
but met with little success. His lieutenant continued the conversions, and they soon had a
small
band of followers.
Sehnir 8th:
A great mist surrounded Sufhanie this day. Everyone inside seems trapped. How long before
they get out are unknown.
Sehnir 9th:
Haelyn's Aegis tried to get a better religious grip on the province of Achiese this month.
They met
with little success. Those who used to follow the faith of Avani does seems quite ready to
convert
to the faith of Haelyn yet.
Sehnir 11th:
The Militant Order of Cuiraecen gained more followers in the Imperial City of Anuire too.
Both MOC and HA has in the last few months grown in strengt, and can now claim to be
the third and fourth most influencal temples.
Although they in military might are considered to be the strongest in Anuire.
Sehnir 12th:
Marlae Roesone sent some to talk with someone in the east. Who it is are still unknown.
Sehnir 13th:
In a private Investiture seremony, the Usurper Jaison was de-investitured Osoerde.
William Moergain is now the legal Duke of Osoerde.
Gavin Tael was seemed to be very pleased with the outcome of things.
Sehnir 15th:
From Markazor, we hear that the goblins have started to make a even stronger fortification
in their capitol. They also mustered some troops.
Sehnir 16th:
The Boeruine Tradeing Guild started contesting away the guild holding of Bannien Andien
and Sons.
With the help from the local legal astabishment, they managed to close down the warehouse
that BA owned. With no place to sell their goods, BA was forced to close down their
trade route too.
Sehnir 18th:
A stady stream of goblins from the Five Peaks are seen to go into Thurazor. Thuarzor is
now though to
have a very large army. The neighbouring realms should be glad the Goblin King are so
little expansionistic
as he is.
Sehnir 19th:
Prince Avan build several new building complexes in his capitol. He also build a new city
bath, hoping
that these two new additions would lure more people to Daulton.
And it seems to work, for a small stream of people do move to settle this new living
quaters.
Sehnir 20th:
The Mhor attended a investiure seremony this day, to try to bind the province of Sufhanie
to himself.
The Land with no clear person to have bound it together before, didn't pose as great an
affort to invest
as a normal investiture would be.
Sehnir 21st:
The Paladin that rules Halynara, invested the province of Caerwil to himself.
Sehnir 22nd:
Arch-Duke Carilion Alam fired the last few people though to be loyal to Tuornen in the
province of Alamsreft.
Sehnir 23rd:
Taline, with a large army, invaded the Gorge. Several large battle ensued between the
goblins and Talinie.
Talinie went out victoires in the 4th week of battle, mainly because of the help of
Arch-Bishop Adaeron Shamesh.
The Thane was reported to be very lighly wounded, as 4 goblins jumped on her.
With Haelyns Might behind her, she came out victorious.
Emmanir 3rd:
The rumours from Brechtur this month is that Wierach and Dauren attacked the province that
Gorgon
took from Wierach a few months before. The battle was firce, it was reported, but the
allied forced
came out as the winners of the battle.
A dry comment from our reporter in Brechtur, said that's probably since a large part of
the Gorgons troops,
where still to be found in Kiergard when the attack was launched.
Emmanir 4th:
WIT continued to gain more influence in Taeghas. More and more people dwindle from the
faith of
Nesire to the faith of Haelyn.
Emmanir 6th:
ITH continued to spread their word to the few humans that lives in Sufhanie.
Emmanir 7th:
The Holy Order of Haelyn's Aegies, managed to convert the last few lost souls who had
worshiped Avani.
Emmanir 9th:
The Duke tried to agaitate the people to his favour in Ciliene, but was met with deaf
ears.
Emmanir 11th:
Baroness Marlae Roesone made her new adviser an official Liutenant of Roesone.
One of the local Lords commented on how much the new Liutenant looked like one of the
higher ranking members of the RCS.
Emmanir 13th:
Duke Moergan started to hire new sheriffs to replace those fired, or killed in the Civil
War.
Emmanir 14th:
Baron Gavin Tael did also make improvements to one of his provinces this fall.
He made a several statues and monuments in Achiese to celebrate the liberation of Osoerde,
and he have away some of his own lands in the province, for further settling.
With all the provinces trying to gain more people, it will take forever for any of them to
become signifiantly bigger.
Emmanir 15th:
Seeing how The Mhor used their troops to protect his land, while himself expands in other
directions,
Avan and Boeruine withdraw their troops from the border against Markazor.
Arch-Duke Boeruine had the following comment, "if the Mhor feels he has a big
enough army
to invade in another direction then against the Gorgon, he must have more then enough
resources,
and military might to take care of his own borders."
Prince Avan didn't give any official comment, but he is reported to have said something
like that
he had more then enough to do with his army, then baby sit the Mhor.
Emmanir 17th:
Goblins from the province of Rivenspring attacked Brushfire. The army who attacked was
clearly
lesser then the defending army, so why they attacked are somewhat a mystery.
The Forces from Mhoried and Elinie repelled the forces with no major lossess to
themselves.
Emmanir 18th:
Even more humanoids left the Five Peaks and settled in Thurazor instead.
Not very surprising with the fate they meet under the forces of Mhoried and Boeruine.
Emmanir 19th:
Mhoried sent more people to start settling Periltrees with more humans.
Emmanir 22nd:
Arch-Bishop Adaeron Shamesh tried to open up a new shrine to Haelyn in the province of
Gulfport,
but met with very little success.
Emmanir 24th:
Haelynara now number 3 provinces. With the addition of Braeme this month, all the 3
previous provinces
of Medoere is now under the influence of ITH.
Emmanir 25th:
Talinie started mustering more troops in preperation with a class with the goblins in the
north.
It's rumoured that Boeruine advised against angering the goblins at this time, but that
Talinie
decided to do so anyway. People in the West Coast, hopes that this won't mean that
Boeruine will have to send more troops north to defend his vassal, as this would surely
give the Manslayer a free hand to move again.
There are still speculations on just what Coeranys are up to. There are very few
rumours to leak
out of the once proud Duchy, but those who do, tell of wired and ludricus things.
Let's hope that the rumors are nothing more then that...rumours.
The Rumours of the Season:
The Mhor is lost.
The Imperial Temple has made several inquires into the whereabouts of the Sword of Roele.
El-Hadid is inside a cocoon, being trasformed into his new Awnsheg state.
Guilder Kalien has made seveal threats towards the Governor.
The people in Mieres became mad because of Magic Means.
A few dwarves came to Fairfield this month, carrying with them large hammers, and several
drawings on strange blue paper.
The priests of the Ruornils Celestial Spell has used magic to charm the Baroness. It's the
Ruornilate who now sit with the
real power in Roesone.
The Manslayer, and a few of his Companions, went into eastern Boeruine. There they entered
a Elven Tower which had been unknown,
and unseen until this moment.
The High Mage Aelies is really the Spider.
Caine has been away for almost a year now. Who knows what the strange man are up too.
There has been reportet that a large host of Goblins has been amassing in eastern
Thurazor.
The Gorgon has several allies among the nobility of Anuire.
Mhisticai are dead.
The Baroness was spurned by her latest lover.
Prince Avan are making plans to force his claim through.
Duke Diem has gone mad, and thinks he is Haelyn born again.
Those who have tried has found out that the trees in the Spiderfell are too hard to be cut
by
ordenary weapons. A magician from Ghoere said that only magical fire could damange the
trees.
The trees in the Spiderfell are reported to be alive. A few farmers in northern Tier has
seen several trees
walk inside the fell.
Tidlig i Deismir måned, år 552 etter Michaels Regning, ble Fyrst Shaene Mhoried, bror av Erkehertugen av Mhoried, overfalt og myrdet av ukjente gjerningsmenn. Likeså ble hans følge, Dame Aubrae Telfin, Erkehertugens vordende svigerdatter, skadet i det samme overfallet.
Ryktene ved hoffet i Mhoried gikk som ild i tørt gress, men Erkehertugen, som uten å nøle hadde kallet sammen menn, hunder og magikere for å finne de skyldige, fikk ikke med seg noen av disse. Ikke ville vel noen av ryktmakerne våget å gjengi de verste til ham; i følge dem så var det Erkehertugen selv som stod bak mordet på sin bror for å hindre Fyrst Shaene i å kunne ta over makten etter ham på bekostning av Erkehertugens sønn.
The Mhor, ivrig jaktende, fikk vite om slike rykter av sine forbundsfeller som han hadde sendt bud på. Disse var Adaeron Samesh, nå Erkebiskop innen sin kirke; Regenten av Diemed, Hertug Heirl Diem; Thane Thuriene Donalls, Regent for Talinie; Baronesse Marlae Roesone, Regent for Roesone og Sierlon Elvenshadow, utsendt av Guilder Kalien av Endier.
To av morderne hadde blitt drept under utførelsen av ugjerningen. Takket være Erkebiskopens evner hadde disse avslørt et navn og et sted; Shaems og "Den Oppblåste Papegøye". Sistnevnte viste seg å være en av Anuires minst tiltalende unnskyldinger for et vertshus beliggende i havnestrøket i byen Ghieste. Et problem i så måte var at Ghieste lå i landet Ghoere, hvis regent Baron Gavin Tael, var å anse som en fiende av nesten alle i Erkehertugens følge. Når det så ble nødvendig å dra dit var det derfor nødvendig å gjøre det inkognito.
Her viste Sieron Elvenshadow seg å være av uvurderlig hjelp. Ikke bare var han i stand til å skaffe til veie et passende sted for gruppen å skjule seg på i Ghieste, men han lykkes også i å kontakte det lokale tyvelauget og, gjennom disse, få vite mange opplysninger. Det var derfor overraskende å finne ut at personen Shaems også var en av Guilder Kaliens menn. Men som Hertug Diem påpekte, likeså som det var rykter som påstod at Erkehertug Mhoried selv stod bak mordet på sin bror, kunne det være noen som ønsket å mistenkeliggjøre Endiers hersker. Hvem som kunne tenkes å stå bak en slik plan ble ikke sagt høyt, men alle tenkte på herskeren i Ghoere, Gavin Tael.
Sieron Elvenshadow fikk kontaktet Shaems på "Den Oppblåste Papegøye" og fikk vite at denne hadde handlet på hva han trodde hadde vært Guilder Kaliens ordre. Disse hadde han mottatt skriftlig, og i de riktige koder, med sin regents segl på, og derfor ikke sett noen grunn til å mistenke for å være falske. Utover det var det lite av verdi Shaems kunne fortelle, og følget forlot byen kort etter med kurs for Shieldhaven.
I Shieldhaven fikk man ikke hvile seg ut, for i løpet av natten ble Dame Aubrae Telfin forsøkt myrdet i sin seng. Heldigvis våknet hun opp i tide til å gjøre anskrik og dermed kom det hjelp til som bekjempet inntrengeren som ble drept i kampen. Dame Telfin ville nok også dødd, for hun var blitt skadet av en forgiftet dolk, men med Erkebiskop Samesh i nærheten, bevæpnet med Haelyns legende krefter, gikk det bra. Gjennom håndspåleggelse klarte han å fordrive giften fra hennes kropp.
Snikmorderens etterlevninger ble gransket og man fant et spor som skulle vise seg å være avgjørende. Et blad fra en type lønnetre som kun vokste i den nordligste og minst befolkede av Mhorieds provinser, Tuornens Watch, hadde festet seg til morderen. Men snikmorderen hadde også på seg et pergament som påstod at det var The Mhor selv som hadde betalt denne for å drepe Dame Telfin. Erkehertugen ble svært bestyrtet over funnet, for dokumentet var så godt laget at han selv ikke klarte å finne feil ved det.
Den natten fikk Erkebiskop Samesh en visjon om et mørke, hvori det skjulte seg en stor onsdkap, spredte seg ut fra mellom en lund med lønnetrær og derfra ut over Anuire. Sammen med visjonen følte han et kall for å dra ut og bekjempe dette mørket. Det var et kall alle kunne slutte opp om og følget bega seg avsted. Det var også generelt akseptert at mørket i visjonen representerte Gorgon.
Gorgon, Anuires svøpe og dets mektigste fiende gjennom et helt millennium, er en motstander man ikke skal ta lett på. Men opp gjennom århundrene hadde dette monsteret kun grepet til militær makt i sin higen etter keisertronen. Det som hadde skjedd her, i Mhoried, bar preg av et helt annet type handlingsmønster. Likefullt, Gorgons tropper som ble holdt under oppsyn av Mhorieds speidere, var rapportert å ha vært i bevegelse de siste ukene.
Alvoret i dette ble understreket da følget bevitnet en ren flukt fra Shieldhaven fra de Mhoriske adlige som gjestet Erkehertugens hoff; ikke fordi de fryktet Gorgon – de opplysningene var holdt dypt hemmelige – men fordi de fryktet for sine liv. Igjen gikk det nemlig rykter om at det var Erkehertugen selv som stod bak mordforsøket på Dame Telfin. Skulle Gorgon ha slått til nå, ville han ha funnet et Mhoried som var fraksjonert og usikker.
The Mhor grep resulutt inn for å motvirke de splittende kreftene som herjet hans rike. Hans vakter stengte portene på slottet og forhindret den Mhoriske adelen å reise bort. Deretter fikk han fremstående representanter fra de tre største kirkene i landet til å holde en sermoni hvori han, under påvirkning av magi som prestene hadde til å oppdage løgn og usannheter med, erklærte sin uskyld i alle de ugjerningene som hadde funnet sted. Det var et modig trekk og overbeviste mange om enn ikke alle. Så satte Erkehertugen og hans allierte kursen nordover, til Tuornens Watch.
Ledsaget av en druide som viste hvor lønnetrærne vokste, endte følget et par dager senere opp ved en lysning med en hytte i enden. Da var gruppen ganske anspent, for bare timer tidligere hadde bud kommet fra Shieldhaven med nyheten om at Dame Aubrae Telfin var forsvunnet sporløst fra sitt rom. Ting tydet på at kraftig magi hadde blitt brukt til å bortføre henne fra slottet. Dette lå tungt over gruppen idet de red ned til hytten. Idet det også ble klart at folk befant seg i hytten, ga Baronessen av Roesone, som hadde tatt med seg sin livgarde med bueskyttere, ordre om at disse skulle spre seg rundt lysningen og omringe hytten, men holde seg på avstand. Det skulle vise seg å være et klokt trekk.
Ved hytten møtte følget på en gruppe reisende som ble ledet av en kvinne av Kinashisk opprinnelse. Hun provoserte Erkehertugen med sin respektløse oppførsel, og da hun truet følget for å stoppe dem fra å sjekke ut hytta ble det trukket våpen og en kamp var uungåelig. Kvinnen viste seg da å være en trollkvinne og hun kastet sin magi i form av en dødlig sky av etsende damp som felte Erkehertugens livvakt, Skalliknusir Steinhardurbarskur; Erkebiskopens ledsager, legbroder Jeroboam; og Sieron Elvenshadow. Det var et fryktelig syn å se de gå i oppløsning så fort at de rakk ikke å falle om før kroppene deres var tilintetgjort.
Men i kamp mot såpass dyktige krigere som Hertug Diem, Erkehertug Mhoried, Erkebiskop Samesh og Baronesse Marlae Roesone, kunne utfallet bare bli ett. Innen kort tid var det hele over, trollkvinnen drept, og inne i hytten fant man Dame Aubrae Telfin, bundet og kneblet, men i live.
De overlevende fra trollkvinnens følge ble avhørt, men kunne ikke kaste mye lys over saken. Hvem som er den mørke eminensen som trekker i trådene er ennå ikke blitt klargjort. Den sterkeste kandidaten er Gorgon, men dette er ikke blitt bevist. Og det kan ha vært andre som også rår over ressurser nok til å ha spunnet et slikt vev. Det eneste som kan sies med sikkerhet er at Erkehertug Mhorieds vordende svigerdatter, kanskje er langt mer mystisk og betydningsfull enn selv The Mhor selv aner. Det gjenstår å se...!
