The neigbouring realms of Dauren and Danigau sent reinforcements of Wierech,
so the Gorgon had a hard enough time winning, which might explain why he didn't
continue to invade more of Wierech after taking their first, and most secure stronghold.
Other specualte it might have something to do with what has been happening in Markazor.

Allthough Tuornen wasn't successfully invested to Alamie, the bloodline of Flaertes
had been transfered into Alams.
The Dutchess obviously was too weak because of this, since she never survived the trip

far
too long", said Fhylie the Sword, "by this we hope the people of Alamie
will be free to
worship whoever they might please".
A spokesperson for WIT had this comment, "this obviously proves that Fhylie the
Sword
are a completly mad, and unfit to rule even a small monastary. This is quite outrageous.
That the army of Alamie did nothing to protect the innocent priest of Haelyn, also proves
that Carilion Alam are nothing but a selfserving man with not a single ounch of honour."

much damange.

The Mhor invaded Riverspring with a large army. Before the battle he held a speach,
"Now is the time to teach everyone: dwarf, goblin and men. This land belongs to
us.
The goblins have died in drowes no their allies will pay. The dwarves are fierce warriors
but
we are the men of Mohried. Axes are for trees we are made of sterner stuff.
Run them down to the last man !"
Mhorieds new military commander, Lord-General Bhal lead another force into Riverspring,
to attack the Markazors forces from the other side.
The strategy was a good one. With the surperiour leadership of two of the greatest
military leaders
around, the plan unfolded like in a school book. Between them, the two armies crushed the
Markazor/Mur-Kilad army defending Riverspring.
Less then a 100 of the enemy survived the battle which was named "The Claw of
Bhal".
The Mhor made a speak about he had now secured Mhorieds borders, and that they would

Markazor, with the aid from Mur-Kilad troops, made an counter attack on Riverspring.
It was a long and bloody battle, with no clear winner.
At the outbrake of night the Mhoried forced made an orderly retreat southward.
It is belived that the braking force on Markazors side was the aid of 2 whole units of
undead. Goblin Shamans also made a havoc of a pikemen unit, by blinding them just
before they wher charged by the goblin wolfraiders.
That night Lord-General Bhal died of an wound he had resived, fighting himself a way
clear towards the goblin general. Large part of the Mhorian army spent the following
day in mourning for the fallen warrior, the commander that most of them had gotten to
respect and love.
The Mhor held the following speach, "In this war we have killed more than twice
the
losses we have sustained. We will now wait and heal our wounds secure in the knowledge
that losses like these will even hurt the the purse of the stoneface in the north .
I for one are rich after the plunder of Goblin temples and intend to spend my newfound
riches on you the best fighters of all Anurien. If Boruine, Avanil or Ghoere had met this
challenge they would have been dead and not walking the green earth as we do."

Clippings from the Endier Gazette:
Work has never been scarce in Endier, even less so inn the last few weeks.
Trade has increased and since timber has become more available given the
new trade route from Mohried. The new docks in Endier are bristling with
activity, and the whole workforce has been in action. Had it not been for
skilled craftsmen from Tuor's Hold the work may not have been completed in
time, and the growing fleet of Endier would have been without a safe port.
Vigilant minds may have wondered where the fleet of tradeships poised at
the docks last month were headed. Our sources in The Heartland Outfitter
claims that the guilder himself has been travelling. And considering the
supplies seen carried aboard, the trip was not a short one. If the fleet
went east or west after passing the imperial city, we do not know. Bets are
on in the newsroom, and the numbers are on Brecht and Khinasi. The editor
looks to loose a substantial amount of money if the guilder does not return
with spices, carpets and other wonders of the east. A nice reward is up for
grabs to whoever can bring information of the guilders trip before his
goods hit the market.
Large military forces have also been seen passing trough Endier in the last
months. The Militant order of Curaceen has been moving in great numbers.
Rumours tell of a great battle between the Western Imperial Temple and
Price Avan on one side, and Tuornen and The Militant Order of Curaceen on
the other. Has the Prince angered the god of war? If so, a storm is
certainly coming to our lands. Thankfully the Haelyin church of Endier was
not harmed, and the passing soldiers left enough in local taverns to ensure
the pension of several innowners.
Rumours have been circulating among the lower nobility concerning the
lovelife of the guilder. Ever since his rise to power, the guilder has been
concerned with the wellbeing of the citizens and the safety of our
homeland. But recently he has seemed more apart than usually. Has our lord
been smitten with a woman, or are there more serious things on his mind?
But all is not as it should be in our blessed land. Stories about movement
inside the Spiderfell have surfaced in the eastern cities, and we have just
had rapport's that gnoll and spider raiders fighting with out noble
soldiers on the western borders of the Spiderfell. Travellers have also
cited sources saying that something is happening on the eastern borders of
the Fell. No matter what, there is a growing demand for better protection
against the raiders in the forest. A number of farmers have taken such a
complaint to the council.
From the far reaches of the north, the fighting between the moor and the
goblins and dwarves continue. The Moors men have suffered hard losses, but
they have driven the enemy north, but at a slow pace. If the winter turns
into a long and hard one, the fighting may grind to a stalemate. That is
until the great enemy takes an interest...
Rumours:
Prince Avan has ordered a severe taxation on his provinces to refill his
treasury.
Several raids have been made against verious houses around in Medoere and Roesone.
Guilder Kalien has now a spy in every household in Anuire.
El-Hadid is really an Awnsheg.
Rhoubhe Manslayer wanted Arch-Duke Boeruine to move all people out of Nietier.
Marlae Roesone have a love affair with Lord Gaeren Biersen.
Governor Arron Vaumel is prepering to fight Avan, after his assasin killed Avan diplomat
instead of the Prince himself.
