the marble
clean shelves unpolished
when will the wind cease
leaning back on windows
the silent smile captures my imagination
the thunder hits as destruction appears
fog surrounds me when you appear
and ounces of misery surround my heart
why you dont call i know
why you dont need me?
walking a dog through the park
crushing the yellow streets of leaves
opening my eyes to the sight of rain
blue, the colour of oceans
subtle the sound of night
water drops keep ticking
like time which doesnt ask
and footmarks are left on the path
as water fills them with a clear feel
which words havent you heard
how much i need to lick your ear
not finishing the work due
because i await you
alone in the corner of my eye
whats to expect? when it never comes
why do i think of you when
you dont know who i am
your eyes make me climb trees
your hair forces me to laugh
your movements make me ill
and your smile leaves me blind
i cannot compete with them when
i dont compete for you
pleading with invisible forces
to lure you into my arms, wide open
expecting you, to hear the laugh and
see the tears i shed when i cry
