IMPORTANT NOTES:

 

We are looking to get easy ear-phones connections on our computers. The idea is to give you the possibility to listen to pronunciation of Spanish words on the Web-Site “Learn Spanish”. If you have a computer home, I encourage you to visit the page and click on pronunciation under the section “Curriculum”.

  1. Grammar: Go to your “Tutorial de Español” link In the Learn Spanish Web-Site click under “Curriculum” the “Grammar” link, then click under “Unit 1” the link number one. Read everything in this page, and learn practicing as well the Quiz #1 at the bottom of the page.

 

  1. Vocabulary: On the Grammar assignment Web-Page memorize the 16 words in Spanish with their articles (masculine and feminine) and their translation in English.

 

  1. Reading: Review and practice the pronunciation of the vowels in Spanish on your last week assignment. On your presentation day you will be asked to read properly some sentences.

 

  1. Composition: Find in your Online Dictionary (link in your Spanish Basic Level page) the Spanish word with its article (masc. or fem.) for: Phone, Lamp, Father, Mother, Sister, Table, Window, Disc, TV, Flower. Write those words in two columns (English and Spanish), and publish your work on your Web-Site.

 

  1.  Dictate: No assignment this week

 

  1. Conversation: Teacher: ¡Hola! Student: ¡Hola Maestro! ¿Cómo está Usted? Teacher: Muy bien. ¿Y tú? Student: Yo, muy bien gracias. Estoy aprendiendo poco a poco mi Español.

            (Hello!    Hello Teacher! How are you.    Very good, and you?     I’m fine thank you. I’m learning        slowly my Spanish.)

            INSTRUCTIONS: Memorize the student part (in Bold) in order to be able to speak with your teacher.
