| The Power Rosary is a rosary which I have adapted. You will need to be familiar with how to say a rosary in order to say a Power Rosary. Saying a Power Rosary instead of a regular rosary takes nothing away from having said a rosary, but rather adds additional prayers to make it more powerful. It takes longer to say a Power Rosary, and you may wind up saying the decades of a Power Rosary as installments of a Novena, with one or two decades per day. Make three lists of Saints and Angels: (1) First list: The names of all Angels and Saints to whom you pray daily or weekly. (2) Second list: Add the names of those to whom you pray from time to time. (3) Third list: The names of Angels and Saints to whom you have a special devotion, a patron saint and guardian angel, for instance. The Power Rosary consists of the same components of a rosary and I will list them so that you can see where the additional prayers are necessary to say: Offer the Power Rosary for the Intentions of the Immaculate Heart and the Sacred Heart (the Reign of the Sacred Heart and the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart) and the Divine Will of the Sacrosanct Trinity, mentioning your intentions as well, and say it in honor of a particular saint or angel or some combination thereof with whom you have had a special experience of grace, perhaps. You can utilize the Power Rosary as a Novena, rotating the saints or angels in whose honor you say the Power Rosary. That is to say, the 20 decades and all the other prayers can be installments of a Novena, said altogether as an urgent novena, or over a period of days. And when you restart a new one, it's a new novena and you can say it in honor of another saint for different intentions than the last one. And intend to do thanksgiving as well. Either the first 10 decades are petitions and the last 10 are thanksgiving, or a complete Power Rosary is in petition, and another complete 20-decade Power Rosary is in thanksgiving. After each of decade of the rosary, say the following prayers: (1) Memorare (2) St. Gertrude Prayer Adapted: Eternal Father, I offer thee the most precious blood of thy Divine Son, Jesus, and all His Wounds and His Entire Person, in union with the Masses said throughthout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere. Amen* (3) (Name the angels and saints on the Third list in succession), all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory (these will pray for you when they are released), and especially those to whom I prayed regularly although to the exclusion of none, (HERE NAME THE ANGELS AND SAINTS ON LIST ONE FOR FOUR OF THE DECADES, AND THE NAMES ON LIST TWO FOR ONE OF THE DECADES, pray with and for me unceasingly, most efficaciously, in the Divine Will, until all we have asked for we have obtained and the blessing of the Will of the Eternal Father is done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Thank you, I love you. Lord Jesus, we adore you profoundly, and we thank you for hearing our prayer which we make in the Divine Will in the manner that is most pleasing to You. (4) Before and after the Sorrowful Mysteries, say the Divine Mercy Chaplet followed by (3) prayer above, utilizing the longer list of saints. If you are using the Power Rosary as a novena done in daily installments, you can either say the Divine Mercy on its consecutive day, or you can say the Divine Mercy with the first or last of the Sorrowful Mysteries. Joyful Mysteries Luminous Mysteries Divine Mercy Sorrowful Mysteries Divine Mercy Glorious Mysteries *I have provided the original prayer because there is a promise attached to it of delivering 1000 souls from purgatory every time it's said. However, the version I provide is the one adapted by the Church. The original given to St Gertrude by Christ ended at the word, "purgatory." I myself can't remember what the Church added, but when I read it, I want to add myself the words, "and those sitting at the kitchen table, and reading in the den, and drinking tea in the porch, and ...." So when I say the Church's version, I usually just end it with the first mention of sinners and say "everywhere", and intend those everywhere. My adaptation takes nothing away from the original prayer and its promise from Jesus. It adds to it, but nothing that would be contrary to Catholic belief, but rather that would include the benefits of other promises as well. Nevertheless, for those who would prefer to use the official version, I have provided a link. And that, my friends, is one powerful rosary.
