With a single leap the red AC jumped off of the airship and began falling holding the other at it�s side. As he looked down past the clouds Crimson narrowed his eyes and looked at it�s altimeter as it continually depleted �What can I do? I can�t survive that fall. I have to think of something! My two ACs, will we perish today? I can�t� I can�t give in, there must be a way�� Crimson looked up at his gauges, all going haywire. �Maybe if I� My energy is at full and the Azure Knight�s should be recharged enough�� A slight smirk appeared on Crimson�s face �Okay then, this is my final chance.� He quickly began typing in commands. �Okay setting up code-link to the Azure Knight and taking remote control. Activate limiter release and Overboost at full power.� Crimson made sure that the two ACs were linked together accordingly so as not to lose on in this risky manuever he was about to pull. �Ready! Go!!�
With a loud blast of power the two intense energy blasts on the ACs� backs erupted. Crimson grunted as the G forces pushed up against his back as he tried to slow down. �Dammit! This is it! Now!! Maximum output!� Crimson reached over and quickly pushed a lever at his side forward. Amazingly the two ACs slowed down, an in a sudden burst of power they shot upward. Crimson coughed up blood as his body shook violently from the tremendous force. �Dangerous� The maximum output is suicidal�� The two ACs spun around violently in the air, switching directions suddenly every few seconds, all the while Crimson tried to remain conscious. He quickly tried to balance the ACs, but as he did this they switched directions and began to fly downward at a 90% angle. Crimson leaned forward �What? It�s� them.� He saw his allies� ACs standing there on the ground looking up at him. He shook his head as he tried to regain his composure �Pull up dammit!� He managed to balance the ACs a bit and they went hurdling forward and towards the ground. �Can I make it?! It�s now or never!� Crimson pulled up at the last second so as not to hit the ground head on. The ACs hit the ground and both went sliding forward violently. �Gahh� Crimson grunted as the two ACs stumbled forward, rolling and spinning. �Did I� Did I make it?� Crimson�s head fell to his side as he lost consciousness.
�Crimson� You did it.� A female�s voice said, though it was somewhat hard to hear. �Where am I? Did I survive?� He opened his eyes slowly, the bright light of the room was shattered by the loose strands of hair that fell over his face. Crimson lifted up his left hand to brush the hair away then slowly sat up. �A hospital?� he muttered as he narrowed his eyes. He looked down at his hand, which was bandaged. Clenching his fist, he soon twitched from the pain he felt in his hand. �I'm alive...� He closed his eyes. He lay his hand on his head and felt a bandage wrapped around his forehead. �You know you really shouldn�t move it. It�s fractured.� Said the voice again. Crimson looked around, still unable to see too clear. �Your hand, it�s fractured.� Crimson looked up and there stood Fox in his doorway. His eyes widened and he tilted his head as he reluctantly replied. �Fox� What happened?�
She then explained to him how the Earth Government got rid of all traces of the giant aerial fortress, and that after being shot from the sky, it plummetted into the desert, where the evidence was found, linking the prestigeous Zadion family to the disaster at the arena tournament, and the unexplicable atrocities commited over the past few months. �What about the ACs?� Crimson asked. Fox walked to Crimson from the window she stared out of and sat next to him in his bed. �They�ll need extensive repairs, but they�ll be fine.� Crimson Fury nodded and looked to her �Well what now?� Fox suddenly leaned up against Crimson and stared him in the eyes. �Wha� Uh Fox..� Crimson replied as if surprised. �Crimson, don�t ever do that again. You shouldn�t just go off all suicidal like that�� Crimson kinda jumped in surprise, but then reluctantly placed his hand on her back. She lie her head against his chest and sighed. �Fox I�� Interrupting his sentence Fox replied �Okay, I�ll have to go and see about my AC�s repairs. Vulcan�s already seeing about it. See ya later!� Fox quickly jumped up and walked out of the door. Crimson fell over from his bed. �What the�?! What was that about?! Gah�� The sheets fell over his face as he lie there confused at what Fox had just done.
Crimson then stood slowly, wary of his minor injuries. He scratched his head, contemplating for a few seconds. �Bleh� Whatever.� He walked to his hospital window and gazed out of it. He saw below him Vulcan standing with his back up against a wall, outside of a nearby garage. Fox soon walked up to him, said something, then walked inside. Crimson looked up at the sky and in the distance saw a white bird flying off into the distance. �Is that� A dove?� A small grin appeared on his face and he tilted his head and closed his eyes. �Well it seems that I�ve survived� Somehow. Until next time.� Crimson turned and walked to the closet in the corner of the hospital room. He opened it and pulled his black jacket from it, slid on his boots, and walked from the door.
