Updated picture of my Traxxas Nitro 4-tec with a new Powerline Aluminum Blue Chassis 09-15-02

The EZ Start has been removed and replaced by the Pull start which works great. I also added a new anodized red fuel filter and yellow fuel lines/exhaust coupler, OFNA linkage kit and antenna mount.

09-15-02: I completed some new modifications. As you can see, I finally installed the carbon fiber rear shock tower. I also bought an OFNA yellow linkage kit, new yellow fuel lines/exhaust coupler, an OFNA anodized blue antenna mount,OFNA fuel line clips, and a larger anodized red fuel filter by Racer's Edge. I also installed the optional spur and clutch gearing. The gear mods made the car almost uncontrollable at full throttle from a standing start. The removal of the EZ Start saved so much weight it is noticeable. This is a different engine also. As you can see, I decided to stick with a Traxxas TRX pro .15. I'm a diehard Traxxas fan so I decided to live with it. I am selling the old one with the EZ Start. I installed this new one with the pull start and had the engine ported and polished. I don't plan on putting the new 2.5 in it. The only thing left to do is to clean up the wires. I will be buying a new body soon and maybe some aluminum wheels. Any suggestions or comments? Please e-mail me. Would anyone like a parts/price list posted on my site? If so, I'll start working on one.

10-03-02: I snapped the front pro diff. so I will be ordering a new one soon. Expensive lesson....never try to overtighten it. I also bought the new Saleen S7 body for it. I will paint it soon and will post the pics as soon as it is done. I also ordered new stock Traxxas rims and HPI belted X-pattern pro compound tires. The stock V-Rages are so wasted that when you go full throttle and turn a little, the car spins around 360 degrees. It's kinda fun for foolin around but you lose control real easy.....I don't need a high speed crash again.

10-13-02: I decided not to put the Saleen S7 on the 4-tec, it seems to fit my TC3 better so I will put it on the TC3 soon. I will probably stick with the Mercedes shell, I haven't decided yet.
