| now if any of you sad little children do NOT know who Dave Grohl is, then you should definitely try to keep away from dark alleys around night time, for if i ever *accidently-on-purpose* bumb into you....well, it aint gonna be pretty... anyway, back to Dave... Dave Grohl is quite possibly THE sexist man ever to walk the face of this Earth! Now back in 1990, September time, he gave up drumming in a band called Scream, and flew to Seattle to join a lil' old group called Nirvana (you may have heard of them!) anyway, to cut an extremely long story short, they skyrocketed in2 the charts with their platinum selling second album, 'Nevermind'. Unfortunately while touring in March 1994, Kurt Cobain overdosed on heroine, was rushed to hospital, and the tour was cut short. On April 8th, Kurt was found by an electrician, on his home floor dead. He had shot himself three days earlier. Anyway, the bassist Krist Noveselic went off to from a band, (the name escapes me as i write) while the mega gorgeous n mega talented Dave Grohl went off to pursue personal things. He formed a band called Foo Fighters, consisting of, well just him actually. He wrote and performed all the instruments for his self titled debut album. He recruted members for touring purposes. The line-up has been chopping n changing ever since, but at the moment the band are as follows: Dave Grohl - Singer, Lead Guitarist Chris Shifflet - Guitar Nate Mendal - Bass Taylor Hawkins - Drums |
