Literary and Historical Tales:
Joe has selected stories from literature and adapted them for oral presentation. These are stories of humor, adventure, and drama.
By making these stories enjoyable to children, Joe demonstrates that literature is entertaining. The stories engender in children an interest in reading that will hopefully last a lifetime.
Adults will simply be entertained by classics presented in an oral style. Stories are drawn from such authors as Robert Service, Edgar Allen Poe, Mark Twain, and Jack London. Tales are also crafted from contemporary authors.
In addition, Joe tells stories that are historical or political fiction. Children learn about the basics of their country's history and how laws are made. These are stories of the revolution and of the constitution. They learn about our legislature through fictional stories based on accurate portrayals of our state legislative processes.
