I'm a junior at University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois,
about 2-3 hours (depending on traffic and who's driving) south of Chicago.
While freshman year I was in computer science, I switched my major to
political science. I'm loving the switch. Soooooo much easier and more
interesting and just better. When not attending the school, I live in
Bartlett, Illinois, about 30 miles west of Chicago. (In between St. Charles
and Schaumburg.) It's a dinky ass town with not much to do as a young
adult, but it's still pretty cool.
One of the best things to do, I feel, is to take my '98 Honda Civic on a
nice long drive listenin to my favorite CDs. Relaxes me, lets me release
my tension, get to be my own man out there. It's nice, especially with my
dual 12" subs. Yea buddy. I especially like to drive to Chicago. The
expressways are fun to drive on, and there's so much awesome stuff to do
there. Some of my favorite music to listen to is alt rock, rap, punk,
and general chill music. My fav bands are Linkin Park, Green Day, Good
Charlotte, Offspring, Ataris, Goldfinger, Bob Marley, Phish, String Cheese
Incident, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, John Melloncamp, Blink 182, DMX,
Tupac, Eminem, Sublime, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, MXPX, and Reel Big Fish.
Movies are good to watch. My fav ones are comedies, though I like a few
dramas. The ones i enjoy most are Super Troopers, A Funny Thing Happened
on the Way to the Forum, The Negotiatior, Go, Wag the Dog, Big Lebowski,
American Movie, Cable Guy, Dumb and Dumber, High Fidelity, Kevin Smith
movies, JFK, A Few Good Men, South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut,
Shawshank Redemption, Dazed and Confused, Animal House, and Zoolander
