The Taj mahal history is not really known people say that an emperor made

it for his beloved wife.Her last wish before she died was that they would make her a

tomb in the memory of her a tomb that no one has ever seen before. The tomb was

started in AD 1631 and was completed at the end of 1648 AD. For those seventeen years

, twenty thousand workmen were employed on building this tomb daily. The materials

used to build this monument was brought from all over india and central asia and it took

a fleet of 1000 elephants to transport the materials to the building site.The materials

that were used were red sandstone, jasper, jade, crystal, turquoise,Lapis lazuli,saphire,

coal, cornelian,diamonds, and all 28 kinds of rare, semi precious, precious stonesand marble.
