ductape halo assembled this collection of all self improvised music and songs together just for himself. he intended to use it for new song ideas. upon listening to them, he realized that these were all valid songs, even in their raw, unproduced state. it revolutionized the way in which ductape halo wrote.
most of the songs written when he was with
low rhythms were imporvised, then revised. lyrics were no longer pondered, but forced directly from ductape halo's mind on to tape.
the sound qualities on this album are so varied.  becuase they were taken from sources such as digital files on the computer to hand held tape decks, the only consistancy is that ductape halo is singing and making all the music. it is hard to take at first, but the more one listens to it, the more addicting it gets. even the mistakes add charm to the magic of free-form song writing.
the picture is of ductape halo at age 3.  it is ironic that this wont be the last time he will be in front of a policeman's camera.
