THE STORY
one day in december of 2001, 3 friends decided that they wanted to remake a church song (help my unbelief) for their youth group. so they got together that afternoon, at the church, and workded for about an hour or less, and came back with a pretty decent song. After they played the song for their youth group they set up a practice on the following wednesday. Everything went well and that was the beginning of what was then the duck tape followers. The members were Evan Faram, Joe Schuerger, and James Yost. After a month or so,l the cut the "followers" of the name due to longness in the name. So , ducktape went out and played shows.  About mid-summer, 2002, they found that their sound was lacking something. They went to the store and found Kyle Combs. He would be the new other guitarist. After many shows and such, ducktape decided it was time to record a demo. The demo was recorded and was and is on sale for 3 dollars. After another few shows, Joe found it was time for him to leave the band so he quit. The band stumbled over a fellow PWSB (Person Who Smells Bad, we all have this no shower thing going on) named Davis Cambell.  we actually didn't find him, Evan had known him for a while as the best friend of his little bro, Hayden.  We then decided that he would be the drummer for the band.  That's right...we decided he would be the drummer. That is we told him that he would be the drummer. No asking was involved.  And to this day, he still lacks the ability to quit the band.  We decided not to equip him with that choice.  But he is now our drummer and he's real good for us.  An just in case you were wondering, we realy did take this picture thats in the background.  Pretty artistic, huh?  we now pretty much just screw around looking for any shows we can play and have an awesome time doing both. we the decided to change our name from the bad name "ducktape" to the not as bad name "the uprising".
