Precis on Civil Disobedience |

Government is an institution that fulfills its occupation most completely when not governing at all. Rather than being a tool for a select few, a government should be a resource for all of its citizens. Corruption, however, often occurs before the people have their chance to implement it. The Mexican War is an example of such corruption initiated by the minority, which consists of land hungry politicians. Still people find government necessary for their own security. The people, not the government, forged the character of this nation. The government, in return, has only hindered the growth of the nation as a whole. It has successfully limit enterprise by instituting hindering legislation. Although it has its faults, do not completely disregard government. Instead, demand a better one, in doing so the people will be taking the first steps towards achieving it. |
