| He didn't want to tell her, And she didn't want to know. So i told him to just walk away, And i told her to be strong. He says he's dying softly, And she's dying deep inside. He's upset that he ruined the bond, And she's upset that he lied. He didn't mean to hurt her. She didn't mean to cry. He wants to preserve the friendship. She wants memories to pass on by. If he really wanted to kill her, He'd never have said good bye. If she really wanted to kill him She won't look at him and say hi. So he's left in the corner To sit there and observe, And she's left in the blank To deal with her nerve. Both of them are cracking Both of them break down But he wants her to be his friend And she wants him to leave town. He knows that he still loves her And she knows she loves him back But she can't deal with the pain As she lets her emotions stack. So she shuts the door Doesn't open it a crack, But he doesn't have the strength To not keep looking back. Every now and then he get's a peak To see what he's left behind. She tries to throw away a picture Of what's left in her mind. |
