Pointless thoughts, pointless days
Strange ideas, stupid ways
No more smiles, but it's ok
Pouring April, Rainy May.
Too much stress, no time to play
It's time to go, but I think I'll stay
I can't think straight and there's nothing to say
Except I wish my world would go away.

Strong desires, jumbled thoughts
Red blooming roses and forget-me-nots
The right drinks bring you to the spots
The right guy will tie the knot.
City wide set on fire
Getting hot with more desire.
They won't know the truth, they'll call me liar
Caught up in feelings, lift me higher.

Opportunities come so freely
Chances to take them pass right by me.
I find it amazing how I'm annoyingly seeking
the untwisted reality that just won't stop sinking.
Crazy, sexy, cool, and mellow
The world was blue, sky was yellow
Reasons come, truth may follow
And the real fun, they just won't swallow.
Pouring April, Rainy May
Sarah made an awesome graphic for my poem.  Go look.
