Mirror Room -- 4th Floor -- Tower of Illusion -- Niflheim You step off the clouded escalator and the mist vanishes instantly, like it was blown out through a air vent. And you find yourself standing in front of a mirror and when you look around, there are mirrors -everywhere-. The room below was dark and dreary, with only a glowing green light to see by. This room, is exactly the opposite. Light bounces and rainbows off the mirrors lining the walls and ceiling and floor until you see colored streaks even with your eyes closed. Almost makes you wonder where the light originally came from. Reflections stare back at you wherever you look. Infinate refelections, since the entire room is made of mirrors. It's a large enough room. Can hold a small group comforably. But there doesn't appear to be any doors, or windows, or anything. Just mirrors. Terry mutters, "I feel like I'm in Tommy.." Gwen Namura says "Feel me... see me... touch me... free me! o/~" Terry mutters darkly, "Dinna y' dare compare me t' Ann Margaret." Terry twists her hair back with a half assed knot, "I look like hell.." Hard not to notice with all these mirrors about. Gwen Namura wanders over. "Betcha fifty cents we're going to have evil clones jumping out of mirrors." Paige snorts dryly, as she scans the place, blue eyes wary. "I should have never come up here with you two," she drawls. "I should have brought Jonothon or Sam. Or Rahne. Someone *Competent*," she hisses under her breath. Course, she's not doing to well herself, so she's just being a sniping bitch at the moment. But do you blame her? Just alittle while ago she eviscerated her tormentor. She's gotta be a little on edge! Welp, ya'll're in a room of mirrors. Literally. For the first couple of moments, nothing seems to be happening. Nothing jumping out of the mirrors to attack you - evil clone wise - the reflections are your own. Come on, Gwen, Lishka's a -little- more original then -that-. Not that bad so far. Least you get to see how awful your hair looks. Lucky Paige. All she has to do is shrip to take a shower or change her clothes. You might get to actually have a semi-easy room. Nah. Not gonna happen. Not here. And no Paige. If the room could respond it would. But you better be careful. There's a hell of an echo in here. Terry glances to Paige, "Then why did you come? An' when th' hell ha' y' e'er spen' enough time wi' me t' judge m' competance." She tilts her head as she examines the room. Gwen Namura wanders around the room, playing an invisible pinball game. "Don't mind Paigey. She's had a terrible time. Not that you didn't have a bad thing, yourself, Terry. Any time you want to talk bout that first room, I'm willing." "Thank you, so much, for your understanding, Gwen. Let me tell you, it *warms* my *Heart*," Paige hisses. Yeah. Warmed so much that it's somewhere between the Antartic and Pluto. She kneels down, and glances down at the reflection, and the the mirror that makes up the floor. "This place is a nightmare," She murmurs, as she runs her fingers along the floor. She inspectes her reflection briefly for any discrpensices, and then moves along farther into the room. "Yuir only now figurin' tha' out, Paige?" The heavy Scottish burr tickles the air as the red head slips into the cast of... some. Rahne turns this way and that to catch the various reflections, not so much seeking her own as seeking the lay out of the room and dimensions. Welp, Rahney, the room is a cube pretty much. Or so it seems. To the others it would literally looked as if Rahne just stepped out of a mirror - the same mirror it would have seemed they stepped out of. Once you move forward you can't move back again until you complete a room most likely. Still, nothing seems to be happening, perhaps this room is just waiting a minute, or perhaps it wants to see if Paige is gonna be a snappy b*tch for a little while longer. Lishka loves a good show. Terry places one of her hands on a mirror, "Gwen we are na' talkin' abou' tha'.. room." She grins a touch to Rahne. Smiling even though she knows that everyone knows, if she just lets herself forget it, maybe they will too. Gwen Namura stays close to the group, surprisingly. "Not now, no. But, sometimes you can learn things from your nightmares. I dunno. I dig you're ticked, Paige, an, like, I just want to say that if you need... Well, like, if you wanna do something... you know?" Paige resists the impulse to tell Rahne where to go and how to get there... and it doubles as Gwen opens her mouth. "You don't want to know what I learned from my nightmares." She says flaty, as she also maps the dimensions of the room. "No do I need your assitance. I'm *fine*, thanks." She just got to gut someone she really loathed.. and it was a hollow victory. Rahne moves along the circumference of the room, hand trailing over the surface of the mirrors as she moves. "I still dinnae quite believe anyone in our group is fully fine. Then again I would be worried if they were." If she doesn't find anything interesting, she's going to stop across from the mirror they came in from. For a little while longer, nothing happens but a slight echo because of the sound bouncing off the walls. Then, along the edges of the mirror, near where each mirror meets, they start... growing darker. Almost... rusted? Yeah. And in Rahne's nose there would be the smell of rust near the edges of the mirror. Wonder what that could possibly mean? After a few seconds each of the large mirrors is rimmed with a thin line - about a inch wide - of rust. Gwen Namura says "Welllllll... Like, if you wanna explode at me, Paige, go ahead." Paige snorts, as she inspects the wall. "Whatever." She says flatly, as she looks over the walls. and then stops. "What the?" She peers at the edges of the mirror, and then curses softly. "OH, shit. Gwen, can you provide some more light?" She asks, as she triess to get a better look at the ... stuff on the mirrors. Rahne traces her fingertips over some of the rust and raises it to her nostrils to catch the scent. "Maybe water comin' in. I'm tendin' t' think o' breakin' one o' these mirrors, bad luck or not." To put deed to thought, she shifts her arm into claw form, though she doesn't yet try to break anything. The rust along the edge continues to get larger, growing at least another half inch while everyone talks. Damn. Rusty mirrors. Those are freaky, no? Nothing else happens yet. Will an illusion mirror be able to be broken though? That is the question. Gwen Namura glows briefly, then is covered in armor. This creates some light, but not much. It suffices. "Shit, it's spreading quick," yeah, state the obvious. She looks over at Rahne, and then her brows furrow. "And if you bring the whole place down, Rahne, I'm gonna be the only one to survive the lacerations. *MAYBE*. You sure you want to do thaT?" Rahne presses her still human hand forward as if the mirror would simply part in front of it or flow like liquid. It's... strange. Not frightening, the rust, but definitely odd. For the moment she seems to disregard Paige's comment, simply studying. One of the many mirrors along the wall begins to ripple, almost like water. Two arms spew forth from the mirror, then the rest of the body. Sam /walks/ out of the mirror, as if walking right out of a pool. He looks almost frightened as he turns and peers at his reflection, touching the now solid glass that he just passed right through. He then peers at the room around him, spotting his teammates and giving a sigh of relief. "Guys....we move on." Almost the second Sam's eyes have turned away from the mirror, it once again begins to ripple and a foot pops out first - in black flats. Then a hand, nails all painted purple, then a head - black hair, blue eyes, Asian. Jubilee! She steps out of the mirror and wrinkles her nose at the disconserning feeling that just passed through her. "Can this place /get/ any more weird?" She steps to the side of Sam and then turns her eyes towards the rest of the group. And guess what! /This/ time, there are no glares tossed to certain blonde farmgirls. Maybe Jube's gained a tiny bit of respect for the girl, seeing what her ordeal has really done to her.. or maybe she's just /scared/ of her. Or maybe she's feeling bad again about what she said? .. Who knows. In answer to Jubilee's question. Yes. Oh yes. To think, this is only the fourth floor. There's -ten- more left after this. It can only get weirder. The rust continues to grow along the edge of the mirror, inching with the sped of about half an inch every ten seconds or so. When Gwen armors up to provide extra light in the already bright room, something... seems to happen to Gwen's image in the mirror. It actually waits until both Sam and Jubilee are in, but as soon as Jubilee is out and says he piece, Gwen's refection turns... transpartent. Transpartent. And gold. It looks as if her skin is now made up of that glowing armor, but only in the reflections. It does not effect Gwen itself. Not compteley transparent. There's something inside her. A skeleton mainly. But no organs. or muscles or blood viens. Just bones. Ewwwwwwwwww. Terry steps back from the mirror, she wrinkles her nose, "She could certainly teach Belasco somethin'.." She glances to check Gwen and then glances to the mirror again and shudders. Auric says "I.. I got a bad feeling about this." Paige's eyes flicker over to Auric, and then she shivers a little. "How ... pleasent," She murmurs, as she again turns her eyes to the mirrors and hte rust that creeps in. She says nothing to Sam or Jubilee, instead, simply moves along the glass, looking to the others and seeing if anything becomes of thier respective reflections. Sam just peers at the reflection of Gwen, summing it up as another attempt to scare them courtesy of Lishka. His arms fold across his chest as he contemplates on the next move. As he walks along the room, he says out loud to the group, "N' just a note, anyone that moves on without tellin' me, will get punished /big/ tahme when we get home." Assuming they do get home. Always the optimist, eh Sammy? He turns, looking now at his team. "Alraght, we have ta move on. There ain't no windows or doors, meaning we have to figure out how ta get out o' heah. Does the rust have sumthin' ta do with it?" A finger pokes at the rust, mind thinking a mile a minute. Jubilee crosses her arms over her chest in thought as she starts towards the main assembly of the group, looking all around at each of the mirrors and her own reflection in any that catch it, trying to note any differences.. anything in the images that isn't on her, or maybe a little delay in movement.. Anything that could give her a clue as to their symbolism. "Well.. We just came through a mirror, boss-man. Maybe a mirror is the way out? Just gotta find which one..?" No differences in Jubilee, or Terry, or Paige, yet, but a moment after Sam runs his hand across the rust, his images in the mirror change. Just in the mirror. Sam himself is uneffected. Basically, what Sam's reflection changes to, is a rust-covered Sam. He looks like a statue, which has completely rusted over, and a statue that moves, breaths still. Icky. Jo certainly wouldn't like the sight of that. Or maybe she -would-. Because to make matters more... humourous, it's a rust covered, barely clothed Sam. He's wearing two of those little leaves that just barely cover... the ecentials. Terry covers her mouth as she gazes at Sam's reflection in the mirror, sometimes rust can look a little bit too much like blood. She lowers her hands and mutters harshly, "Any ideas.." Auric's armored face swivels around. She considers the situation, professional now. "Sam, permission to attempt to smash a mirror?" "You were unconscious, Sam. End of story." drones Paige, as she turns - and spocks a brow. And then she sniggers once. And *laughs!* "Oh, lord, the bitch has got a sense of humor. Oh what a work is man... An' oh what a work is Sam!" She smirks a little, and then goes back to feeling along the mirrors, not really paying attention to her reflection as she tries to find a crack, a sliver, something! Sam just stares blankly at himself in the mirror, bringing his eyes down to the leaf that civers his....*cough*. Instinctively, his hands dart down to his crotch, trying to cover up, but he soon realises he isn't rust covered and wearing leaves, it's Lishka playing tricks. Tearing his attention from the reflection before him, Sam turns to Auric and nods. "Go ahead, see what happens. Be on yoah toes, though people." He pauses, stepping closer to Auric to be ready for anything, "If there is a way outta heah, she'll show us. She'll toy with us foah a while, then we move on. She's just waitin' foah us ta snap...." Jubilee wrinkles up her nose at that thought and approches one of the mirrors, both to stand clear of when Gwen smashes one and to get a better look at the mirror itself.. "Yeah, so the question I guess is - which one'a us is she tryin' ta snap this time? I mean.. I'm not the only one who's been seein' familiar stuff /everywhere/, am I? Pretty obvious by now that she's some kinda.. telepath or something.. somehow lookin' inta our heads.." Which she doesn't like at ALL.. Paigey's turn for her reflection to go all freaking-image. Remember those little mouths on Emplate's hands with the teeth and the tongue that she bit off and spit out? Now, in Paige's reflection, she has those mouths. Not just on her hands. She has a pair on her hands, yes, and one on each of her cheeks, and two on her neck. She's also standing in her underwear and bra - which are normal, btw, nothing extremely fansy or special of lacy or revealing. There's a big mouth on her back, and a big one on her stomach. As well as more mouths covering her arms and legs. They're making little bitting and nibbling motions, like they're hungry. Talk about EWWWWWW! And Jubilee, to answer your question. Maybe this room is for all of you? "Just b' careful Gwen.. our wounds may disappear b' we'll still ha' t' deal wi' them while we're in here.." Terry goes pale as a ghost as she spots Paige's reflection. Weak stomach? Auric considers, then stands near a mirror. She points a finger at it, then sends a dagger on a tendril hurtling towards the mirror as if it was shot from a gun. It's when she sees a tongue under her palm, writhing and lapping at the mirror that she jumps - and before she can REALLY inspect her reflection, she looks over as Auric firing off a dagger. Oh, boy. Sam just peers around the room, reflections bouncing off of everywhere. it's when he sees Paige's warped reflection that he decides to take action. 'Everyone stop!" He calls out, stepping toward his team and saying calmly. "What are we doin' wrong heah? We sit in heah and watch the bitch warp our reflections ta scare the bejeezus outta us. How do we stop that? Close our eyes. That cuts off her toyin' with us n' foahces her ta do /sumthin'/. These are orders, close yoah eyes n' sit down on the floor. Now." Ok, maybe he's way off base, but he will not allow his teammtes to be emotionally destryoed. He closes his eyes, sitting down on the floor. Jubilee turns her eyes slowly around with her head as she hears Terry, catching a glimpse of Paige's reflection in the mirror.. and her eyes /widen/.. before they quickly drop shut and she sits herself down on the floor. Yep, no prob-lamo! Jube'd be SO happy to sit here and not have to look at... at /that/.. **CRINCH** There's a bright flash of light as Gwen's tendril impacts the mirror, and a sound. It's a sound as loud as a rifle report, but high and crystaline - and extremely drawn out. Something between a crash and a crunch and the sound of someone walking on broken glass. The bright flash from the impact reflects off the mirrors, growing brighter with each refect, until it would at least make rainbows dance across everyone's vision for few moments. Until their visions clear no one will know if the shattering worked, or if their reflections remained changed. Well, Sam and Jubilee will at least have to open their eyes, but after the long drawn out sound they might catch the end of the flash. And I hate to tell ya Sammy-boy, but just sittin' down and closing your eyes isn't gonna make the mosters go away. The name of the game is -facing- your fears, desires, and secrets. Not hiding from them. Terry puts her hands before her face instinctively, "Sam it doesn't work tha' way.. remember how we got through th' last three rooms?" She shivvers lightly as she speaks through the noise. Auric stands, then sits. Then does nothing. She doesn't say anything either. Paige winces a little, as the light flashes, blinding her briefly and leaving her groping at the wall for balance whine her orientation is suddenly shot straight to hell. "Fuck!" is all she says about the matter. "Just close yoah eyes n' sit. Now." Sam says sternly. Your dead worng, Lishka. Sam /is/ facing his fears, by closing his eyes and ignoring the reflections, he's calling you to 'bring it on'. He's waiting for you to take action and do /something/ that he can face, not something he can gawk at and be humiliated by. "Please, ah may be wrong, but ah need ta try it. Jus' do it..." Jubilee shifts uncomfortably where she sits as she hears the goings on around her, but she dosn't otherwise move from her spot and doesn't open her eyes.. This is all way too weird. Yesterday she was sixteen! She's supposed to be enjoying her presents and finishing off the cake today!! Man, life sucks so bad sometimes.. And no matter how silly Jube is starting to think this idea is - after all, with their eyes closed they are sitting ducks! - Sam is leader, and you do what the leader says. .. Unless he goes WAY off his rocker. Those who closed their eyes, see nothing for a while, obviously. But they hear a... swishy sound, and a slight dripping sound as well. Those who keep their eyes open, see that the mirror Gwen attacked is indeed cracked. But it isn't cracked as if something hit it. There's no point of impact, with lines of shattering running out. And it only effects that one wall, the rest, inculding the one Paige is leaning against for orientation is the same. But the cracked wall... cracked evenly from top to bottom, side to side, every inch covered with a lattice of fine lines... is bleeding. Yes. Bleeding. Blood is running out of the cracks, dripping onto the floor, forming a puddle. It will reach the sitting team soon enough. Now as for the weird reflections. In the other mirrors, Gwen is still a transparent golden skin over bones, Paige still has mouthes, and Sam is still rust covered. But not only that. Jubilee's entire reflection is changed as well, though only those with their eyes open can see it. Oddly enough, she looks like a female... Sinister. Funky blue and red-armored skin, a red diamond on her forhead, the works. And as for Terry, well, she's wearing a strange outfit. A more feminine version of Deadpool's, with an opening for her hair in the back and not covering her mouth or chin. Terry doesn't sit, and she keeps her eyes open. She gazes at the blood and her reflection. The red head chews her bottom lip, "Sam we ha' g' t' keep our eyes open..things are changing.. blood is..." She mutters, "Sam please trust me on this.." Auric considers. "Darnit, Terry, the squirrels are back." She looks a bit more around. Auric says "Yep. Blood. Funky." EEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew. "This..." Paige says flatly, "Is, without a doubt, disgusting." She pulls her hand back way from the mirrors as it splits beneath her fingers, and tries to wipe the fluid off on her jeans. "Gross." No so gross as having been fed on infront of your classmates and having part of your deep, dark secret of your abuse REVEALED to peole you HATE... but still gross. "S'all in yoah head, Terrah. Fahne, don't close yoah eyes, but yoah just allowin' Lishka to play with yoah head." Sam says sternly, eyes welded shut. He dare not open them, not wanting to see where the blood is and what it's doing. It's not real, it's not real, it's not real. Now, if we could /all/ think like this... This is all WAY too much! Jubilee can't just SIT there with her eyes closed and wait for someone to grab her! Sorry Sammy. Jube opens up her eyes a little to peek around, spotting the blood first and turning slightly pale.. and that's around when her eyes swirve over towards.. the mirror.. /her/ image..! It's HIM! Jubilee nearly jumps out of her skin and is on her feet in an instant, heart suddenly racing and eyes widening. No, it's not him! It's /her/!! "No.." she mutters, eyes quickly filling to the brim with tears. "No.. No. No, no no no noNONONONO!!" In an instant, energy flares to life around Jubilee's hands as they swing upwards and aim at the mirror. She won't let that bitch do this to her!! She won't let her pry into her mind and play tricks on her and try to keep her from saving Everett!! And she /won't/ let her pick out all Jube's dirty little secrets and air them to everyone! *PAFPAFPAFPAF!!* An assult of multi-colored orbs spring from Jube's fingertips, soring through the air and to that mirror, that reflection of her as Sinister, bent on blowing it to pieces. "You're not gunna do this to me, you hear me /bitch/?!" Jube yells at the air, "You can't /have/ him!! No matter what stupid little tricks you pull!" Can we say, more **CRINCH**? About a hundred times amplified. Everywhere around the mirrors start cracking, just like the one that Gwen broke, blood pouring out of each crack just like on the the other wall. Blood also drips from the ceiling, landing on the sitting Sam. All the reflections are no, gone, replaced by bleeding walls, and bleeding ceilings and bleeding floors. Could that be why the edges were getting rusty? There was blood behind it? The floor has turned into blood? Can we say -ew-? Yes, we can. We can say it twice. Ew and Ew and Ew. Ok, ok, that's -trice-. Sam, you are now sitting in blood, sweet lil' southern man. Literally. Blood about three inches deep. Rustyish colored, dark, smelly, icky, metalic tasteing blood. Do you think Lishka's gonna let you all shower here? I don't think so. Would you -want- to shower here? Have you ever been afraid of the drain sucking you under? Well, just hope this blood is an illusion and won't last when/if you get out of the room. And how are you supposed to get out -now-? Walk through the blood? "Dammit Sam, Y' certainly ha' na' been through wha' Paige an' I ha'" Terry breaks off her tirade and grabes Jubilee, "Jubes! Its na' Real.. remember.. Remember! Y' are y' th' little paffer.. " She mutters, "Y' are still dressed fer yuir date.." At this moment she doesn't even want to know how much further she has to go through with this.. Paige can get clean. She's one husk away from getting ALLA This shit RIGHT off her. "Sam, get your - " And then she blinks as Jubilee goes nuts. She's not to far from the girl, and so she crosses the floor - making sloshy noises in the puddle of blood and goes to grab her wrists, loosening her skin so if she's struck with paffs, it'll just blast away the flesh and reveal a tougher form beneath. "Goddamit, STOP! Ya ain't doin' a DAMN Thing for Everett bah gettin' hysterical, gal, so STOP! She *Wants* you t' lose focus so ya lose sight of ya goal. So if you give afuck baht Everett at ALL, STOP!" Shiiiiiit. Sam /has/ to open his eyes, angry at himself that his idea at beating Lishka's game failed miserably. He almost pukes on the spot as he finds himself sitting in the middle of a pool of blood. Heck, more then a pool. Getting to his feet with speed, Sam looks for the rest of the group, calling them to come close. Yes, huddle in a circle and wait this out, there's no apparent way out, so all they can do is wait and pray to God that they don't snap before then. "Guys, stay close ta me..." He mutters, grabbing onto each and everyone of you, pulling you in close. He takes a hold of all of you and cluthes for dear life, hoping this horrible /nightmare/ is over soon. The blood sloshes and splooshes with each movement, sending a cringe up his spine. In his shoes, in-between his toes, everywhere. The blood is everywhere and rising fast, and Sam finds himself stuck, unsure of what to do. Blast through the roof? What's the point, Lishka can warp things at her will, it's useless. He can only hold onto the lingering feeling that the game can't be over yet, they have farther to go and she wouldn't bring the end so soon. Or would she? Jubilee gasps as she's grabbed by Paige, her eyes going even wider as the girl actually /allows/ herself to bare some of the brunt of Jube's Paff Power. Jube's first reaction? Horror. She watches the skin fly and shreaks "PAIGE!!", convinced for that moment that she's just /killed/ her best friend's /sister/! A member of the /team/!! A /living breathing person/! But, as the moment passes, dragged on like an eon even though it's hardly a full second, Jube focuses on Paige as the flash dissipates and Jube is still being held firm by a half-husked Paige, her own hands burning a bit from having exploded her paff so close. There's hardly time to think about it before Jube gets yanked back by Sam with everyone else, and she looks down to watch the blood rise up.. She was already white as a ghost after what just happned. Now, she's turning a nice shade of green. End the game NOW??? But it's just getting GOOD! There's still so much more to do! Only two real fears have been faced! And no one has even faced a desire or temptation yet! Those are often the funnest because the people -want- to stay in the room instead of wanting to - leave-. The blood continues to slosh, and drip, falling from the ceiling in slow sprinkles. You're all gonna have little red poka-dots by the time this is over. Or more correctly, poka-sploties. The blood on the floor rises, and upon Jubilee's accidental assualt on Paige... the blood seems to... shiver. Ever seen really dark red Jell-O being shaken around? Well, looks like that, only not in cubes, obviously. No doorway has appeared yet, but a few minutes more and the room will not be very big anymore, the blood seems to be closing in. Definatly one hell of an icky room. Terry burrows against Sam as it seems to get weirder, she mutters, "Okay... this is like somethin' ou' o' th' OJ trial, wha' can we d' here..wha.. wha if we all focused our powers outward, stay in th' group t'gether, baacks t' each other an' attack it all..." Its an idea yes, it may sound like some sort of demented Carebear stare, but its an idea. There's a sharp cry of Paige as takes those paffs, shreading through her skin and battering her body - and revealing a form of crystal beneath. "Ya evah," she intones flatly, once Jubilee's hytrionics are through, "'paf' me again, an' Everett'll be mournin' another girlfriend. Got it?" She says, as she holds the mallrats wrists tight in her hands. "Ya ain't him. Get. That. Though. Yoah. Skull. Ah ain't Emplate-" and though her stomach twists as she says it, "And Everett needs ya ta pull yoahself together. Got it?" Then, jello-blood or not, she drags her over to where Sam and Terry stand. "We doin' this final show-down style or what, Sammy?" She asks, looking to her brother with those cold blue eyes before they morph into clear crystal as she yanks away the rest of her skin and lets it fall to the blood about her. Disturbed by her surroundings? Not at all. Why? Because she's Nucking Futz. "Christ..." Sam mutters, holding the group close. "Nah, ya can't use yoah powah in this small room, Terrah. But...Ah can use mine..." Hey, he has to do /something/. Now with his teammates close, he turns on his blast field and surrounds them with it. However, he keeps expanding it, pushing it to the size of the room and beyond. "Yeah, Paigey, show- down..." He mutters, concentrating on pushing his field. What does he want to do? Not sure, he wants to have the room /explode/ or fall to shambles around them, keeping them safe with his field the entire time. One thing is for sure, something will have to give. Sam hopes it'll be the room. Jubilee watches Paige with wide eyes and only nods at her words, Jube's own fright still keeping a grip on her.. She could have /killed/ Paige! Sure, Jube ain't too fond of the hayseed, but she's still another person! Another /life/! Top that off with all this blood and that image of herself as Sinny still emblazened on her memory.. One has to wonder - how's she gunna do when they get to HER room? This is what happens when you don't even deal with your problems in an /un/healthy way, and instead just shove them into a deep corner of your mind and hope they go away. She keeps close to the group, back to them all, and watches as Sam tries to push out the walls of the room.. If only she could help. Well, Sam my boy, in all directions, but one, your field seems to... have resistance. But against once wall, it doesn't resist. His field pushes the blood back easily. There must be something in that direction. Which wall is it? Well, it's the very wall Gwenny shattered. The wall you all were facing when you entered this mad room. Good job Sammy, that must be the way out. You've all survived the test of not going insane and killing each other, or getting sick all over the place. Now, how to get past the blood? That is the question. Anyone got an answer? We got a room full of leaders and wanna-be leaders here. Lead. Throw out ideas. Do your stuff. Terry knows, mirrors, echoes, sound. All that adds up to no control of her power, "Why na' just walk through it.. yuir field should keep it off us, heck Paige ken jes' g' int' a new skin... its just gross.. blood canna kill us..." Can it? She looks to Sam as she offers this up. Paige nods. "Ah- I can handle it, Sam. Just push forward and we'll follow behind you." She keeps her grip around Jubilee's wrist, unwilling to lose her to being sick or anything else. "We'll be RIGHT behind you." Sam nods to Terry, "Good thinkin', girl." And with that, he concentrates really hard to keep the firld up the number of people, something he really has never done. "No, Paige, we go through /all/ tagethah. Ah need ya ta use yoah strength n' help Jubilee /jump/, pick 'er up if ya have ta. Terrah, ya stay close, in the air. On the cout o' three, jump as far as ya can inta the wall n' ah'll /try/ ta keep the field 'round us the whole tahme.....quick....*grunt*...We need the field, we don;t know whats on the othah side..." He trails off, taking a moment to concentrate. "One.....two...." He prepares himself, ready to thrust along with the group and offer as much shelter as possible. "Three." *SCHHOM* A spurt of exhaust and with the combination of their jump, through they shall go. He hopes. Jubilee blinks once, twice, and tries to pull her sheathed wrist (wrist- guards are ALL the rage now, ya know!) away from Paige's grip, too late. "WaitAMinuteWhatIfIt'sJustAWaaaaalll!" But by the time she's able to voice her protest, she's probably being hoisted through (or into) the wall. The wall of blood parts for the field, and... The blood fades. Now, to be correct, most of it fades. As a lasting reminder of the room it still stains all the clothes and skin of those who were in the room. Lishka just loves being over-dramatic, and leaving the blood on them is just... so cool to her. Of course if they make it all the way up, the blood will leave when they leave the Tower, and they can wash it off if they happen upon some water. -- Stay tuned for the next log --
