02/25/2001 When first you enter this girl's dreams everything is pitch blackenss. Your feet rest on something hard, so it's not floating in a void... and they even click and reverberate off invisible walls so it -feels- as if there is something there, you just can't see anything. And then the whispering starts, whispering reminiscent of Machin Shin, if it existed yet anyway. "Where are they?" "Can you see them?" "Ssshh, it's not safe." "Never been safe." "He's coming." "Ash." "No." "But I thought..." "NO!" "What do I do?" "Go back to sleep." "I'm a good girl." "I know you are. Go back to sleep." "Alright." And then silence. There is a spark of light, just a tiny flicker of a candle flame which slowly grows and it casts a speck of light, which only deepens the shadows around it more, though it does allow you to see where you are, and it seems to be a warren of passageways made of sharply cut black stone. The only sound is that of your feet against the stone as you walk though, which continues to echo. The Prince has been here for a little while now. He's an old hand at dreams afterall. He's been listening to her whispers, trying to make sense of them. So far the natural events of the dream are fuel enough, but truth be told, he will likely need to...coax some stronger reactions out of her. He is not far from that flame...his body barely perceptable in the dim light, shrowded as it is in the darkness. Wyntere takes gentle steps through the passageways. The voices... where are they coming from? She glances left and right and backwards to try to determine it. Not a word is said though as she glances to Neelkan and shrugs as if asking him 'where to?'. Her eyes glance at the black walls with shadows fearing the worst as come to Kyle. Neelkan isn't exactly an expert when it comes to Dreamwalking. He's been working on it a little since arriving in the Tower a year or so ago, but he's still not that good. He rubs his hand through his hair and looks around, seemingly creeped out by this place. "Blood 'n ashes. 'is is as bad as some of m' dreams." He notices Wyn's look and shrugs, as if to say 'Why ya askin' m'!?' then he shrugs and motions towards the darkest corridor. "Somehow I think she'd more likely be down 'ere." She's a dark person after all! And no, Neelkan don't always know when to stay quiet. Hey no one else is supposed to be in there but him and Wyn and the girl. As soon as Neelkan suggests that corridor there is a gentle... sound... it could be a far off wind, or more murmurings in the distance but it's impossible to make out for an instant, but when it does make itself clear it seems to be weeping, very soft, very distant weeping. The black stone changes to red and all of a sudden it is as if there is a giant earthquake or a collapse of the tunnels because the ground is shaking and rubble is falling and there is a very painful, very high pitched noise. It doesn't sound human. In fact it sounds almost birdlike, but if it is a bird it's one you -don't- want to meet 'cause it sounds huge and pissed off. And then as suddenly as it began the shaking stops and there is silence once again for an instant. Then a soft sigh directly next to your ear, and the whispers pick up again. "I thought I told you to go back to sleep." "I'm not tired." "Yes you are." "No, I want to see what you're doing." "Alright, come here." There is a whimpering scream, and then silence again. The pitter patter of little feet sounds farther down the tunnel Alyester is in, and is likely audible only to his ears, while if anything the darkness deepens around Wyntere and Neelkan. And indeed the prince does here that pitter pattering. he has his own light, a beautiful medallion round his neck that catches the light of the candel and reflects it. He is dressed in the outrageous costume of a court jester, complete with jingling bells and multi-colored bloomers to match. he carries a sceptar and his face is painted porceline white. His lips are painted red. He fairly skips along behind the child, bells jingling as he moves. WHo knows how far that sound goes here? He's looking for her. "Hello little one?" his voice is quiet, carrying on the wind and echoing off the walls. "Where do you hide?" *jingle* Wyntere turns her head as the walls turn red and places a hand on Neelkan's shoulder to steady herself. Determination flashes through Wyntere's blue eyes now. "She's hurting." Well, that's easy to figure out. Those words... that voice... is it her or someone else? Wyntere tries to place it and rolls it over in her head. The sounds of jingles are very faint as she tries to figure out where they are coming from. Jingles, red walls, black walls, whispers of a child not wanting sleep? Yep, this mother just wants her daughter back, so she can piece her together again in safety. "Burn it." Neelkan curses a little, but the red walls don't seem to bother him really. He's lived his entire life with bad dreams. This is pretty bad, but it isn't the worse that he's seen. "Calm down, Wyn. We'll find 'er." Of course, they wouldn't have to find her if the little idiot hadn't ran off. It's her fault for running off and leaving him. Yup. Totally and completely her fault. The child is a little orange haired girl with big, innocent green eyes. If you had to guess she's about 6 or 7. She half hides behind one of the razor sharp edges of a corner in the tunnels, and in fact the hand she has resting on the edge starts to bleed lightly. She peers at him from behind the edge. "I'm not posed ta talk ta strangers..." This jester thing.. well if it's supposed to put her at ease, it doesn't! :P She looks like she might break into a run again but waits to see what he says. Softly a breath whispers on the unfelt wind and floats gently into Wyntere and Neelkan's ears, "Momma." "Over here." "Over here." "Over here." There's no possible way to tell where the voice is coming from because of the echoing, and in fact it sounds almost as if each attempt at giving directions comes from a different tunnel, but the darkness ahead of you is deeper than the darkness to the left or right, or behind... and the night is always darkest before the dawn isn't it? And it is not supposed to put the child at ease. the Prince takes this form because...for whatever reason, it appeals to him. Just as dreams are a picture into the mind of a person, so is the form a person takes entering a dream, occassionally a look into the mind of someone else. *jingle* *jingle* The jester approaches the little girl with long utterly deceitfully fast strides. he's not close enough to reach out and grab her though. He bows absurdly before her, and at this point is unusually long nose and pointed chin become disturbingly apparent. "What do mothers know little one? You know you don't want to go to sleep." Wyntere glances down each tunnel of the "over here." Wyntere furrows her brow and nods to Neelkan. "We'll find her." She'll be in alot of trouble, but for now... it's just finding her. Wyntere finally looks down the tunnels. "This way, Kyle. Over here. Come to me, please?" There's worry in Wyntere's voice as she calls out. Gosh, which tunnel? It's hard to determine which way to go. Perhaps it doesn't matter? Sighing, Neelkan scratches at his white streaked red hair again, obviously lost in how to go about finding this girl. He doesn't go into other people's dreams very often at all. If their appearance says anything about the person, then it seems that this young man just doesn't seem to care about it, because it's mostly black and gray and his normal attire (just washed-out color-wise). He looks over at Wyn as she calls out and sighs a little bit. He isn't used to this mother stuff. Kyleigh squeeks and darts back, staring at him as he bows before her. "But... I have to be a good girl or they'll hurt me." Her hand though... when she darted back the wall itself opened up a huge gash across her palm, so much so that the top half of her hand is dangling by just a thread of flesh from the bottom. She just looks at it sadly as if she expected that to happen. "See?" She holds out her ruin of a hand to him. Yes, this girl is officially messed up. Perhaps it doesn't matter Wyntere, but at Wyntere's calling the voice speaks again, "Can't, momma. They won't let me." Apparently Kyleigh is as captive in the dream as she is physically. The floor below Wyntere and Neelkan's feet though lurches for a moment, and begins to move, slowly drawing them down the dark tunnel. You are going deeper into the dark place, scary isn't it? ;) Splish, splash, and suddenly there is water around your feet. It's about ankle deep and and strangely... warm... It doesn't get any deeper though for a long time and the seconds seem to drag by like hours until a door appears before you and opens into a small black room. The first thing you would probably notice is the huge blazing bonfire in the center of the room. The light that it casts allows you to see that the water... well it isn't water. It's blood. The fire is no ordinary fire either. It surrounds a block of black stone upon which rests the sleeping novice. Her hands are folded over her stomach and she seems to be sleeping peacefully but golden chains rest across her body, binding her to the block. She doesn't stir as you enter, and yes, the fire is hot. Wyntere feels the warm 'water' and then watches the door open. Her nose twiches a little at the blood and then as the heat hits her, She embraces and evelopes Neelkan and herself in a blanket of cool air. "Now what Neelkan? How do we get up there to her? We can't save her here. Just need to know where to go." Please help, Neelkan. I can't do this alone. And yes, this mother stuff is strange, I'm sure. The jester advances, cape fluttering outwards behind him as he walks and forming surreal shapes in the scarlet material. SMiling faces, writhing bodies, spooky, hypnotic things. This woman is truly screwed up. The Prince comes to believe this more and more firmly. He wants to know why though, and why she is here. "Your mother isn't very nice." he licks his lips "making you be a good little girl all the time." Could she be talking about the manner in which the tower restricts a novice? His eyes go to the hands, knowing full well that instinct plays an important role in figuring out the clues a mind leaves. "Wouldn't you like to be away from them?" "Blood 'n ashes. Water. Grr." Neelkan mutters when the water first appears, lifting his feet up to try and pull them out, but as they get to the room, and see it isn't water after all, he swears a few more choice phrases, including, "Blood--err, um.. ne'ermind." He looks up at Ky and frowns a little bit. "How'm I supposed t' know, Wyn? Blo-- Bur-- Arg. Trolloc spit." he steals a curse from an old friend. "Unless ya think I can fly, 'ere's nothin' I can really d'. It's 'er dream. 'far as I know, I can't control it." This is where he wished he'd found out more about dreaming, yup. Kyleigh squeeks again, but is somehow hypnotized by the cape, but her eyes linger on it for only a moment before looking up into his frightening visage. "DON'T SAY BAD THINGS ABOUT MY MOMMA!!" Yes, this little girl is very protective of her true mother (who is strangely not the woman who actually gave birth to her). "Momma would never hurt me!" She looks down at her hand and holds it out to him again. "Can you fix it?" There is something... almost calculating in her eyes as she looks at the Prince, and hardly child-like at all. The flames in Wynt and Neel's room continue to burn and the novice continues to sleep. And then the strangest thing happens. Another Neelkan steps out of the flames, tessen in hand and glares at them. "What're ya doin' 'ere?" If he notices that he's looking at himself he doesn't give any evidence ofit. The jester flutters his eye brows at the little girl. "Did I say something about your mommy? I'm so sorry." His eyes go to your severed hand. "Of course I can help you. I can help anyone." He licks his lips as images of hands caress their way all across the surface of his cape. Is that a woman you see there also? Hands sliding over the curves of her body? Nah...it moves and slides so fast, it's hard to tell exactly what you are looking at. "Would you like my help?" His pendant reflects the light of that candle and its image flickers playfully over the little girl's body. "Will they hurt you if I help?" "I can make you fly, Neel. If your ready." Wyntere will suffer the heat to save the novice. She glances to Kyleigh a moment. "Kyle, where are you?" Come on, just tell us and we'll pop out of the dream and come get you. Wyntere wraps weaves of air about Neelkan's waist and slowly begins to lift him over the flames to Kyle's stone bed as the heat starts to burn her. She isn't sure what to make of Neelkan with the Tess... oh no! How'd Kyle know about that thing? She looks to the mirror image, "Neelkan, put the tesson down. We're friends of Kyleigh's. Here to protect her." Neelkan? Any bright ideas? What the bloody Light!? Neelkan's eyes widen, seeing the second him walk out. "Why's 'ere 'nother m'!?" He yelps a little bit, but he doesn't understand the importance of the tessen and the fire. No one's told him that. Just that it's his weapon. He looks over at Wyn, totally confused, wondering why Ky would have another him here. "Um.. uh.. ye'h. Let us through, Neelkan." He looks a little sheepish as he talks to himself. Flight now? Neelkan is flying. But that tessen is dangerous if it's the same one Wyntere's thinking about. There is a child's tiny shriek at one of the images on his cape, the caress to be specific. "NO! You're one of them aren't you! You did this to me." Little Kyleigh cradles her hand against her chest, looking at him with betrayed eyes. "I don't like you. I'm going to find my momma." And she turns on her little heel and starts to stalk off into the darkness, still cradling her hand. The fake Neelkan bares his fangs as Wyntere starts to (in his eyes) cheat in lifting the other red haired man over the flames and he actually throws the tessen with a snap of his wrist at the weave, and as it spins it severs it, dropping the real Neelkan on the ground. But he wasn't very far up at the time so he could easily land on his feet. "at's not the way." Then he looks at the real Neelkan and narrows his eyes for a moment. "Why should I?" Wyntere narrows her eyes at the evil Neelkan and then glances to the one that's fallen. Her mind races a moment. "Neelkan, let's get her. If I can't fly you there... do we run through the flames? It's her dream. We won't wake up injured." Wyntere's done her homework assigned by Kaomi. "Kill him if you want, Neel. I'm running out of ideas?" Her hands run through her hair. Come on Kyleigh, come find me and tell me where they have you. Oh no little girl. you can't get away that easy. This jester has had his way with many a person in their dreams. He appears in front of her as she skitters down the cave. His cape billows around him, seeming to expand in every direction. The cape seems alive...a living entity unto itself. Forms of people writhing this way and that slide acrosss it as wind posses them. Hands slithering, eyes roaving. "Your mommy isn't here little girl." The cape seeks out the edges of the walls and grafts itself to them. There seems to be no end to the lengths to which it can grow. it looks like liquid crimson as it slides all along the walls on all sides of the orange haired girl and starts to press in around her. Hands form...many hands. They reach for her...wanting to feel. Ack! Thump. Neelkan is able to land on his feet, though he has to bend his knees and touch the ground with his hand to keep from falling forward before he can straighten. Daaaaaaaamn. He wants a tessen that can do that! "What's not the way?" The real Neelkan is very confused right now. In fact, perhaps to set him apart from the other him, his clothing has shifted a little to typical Eharon wear. Long vest, shirt, trousers. Perhaps one could call him Shun'u right now and it would fit. But he narrows his own blue-green eyes at himself and glares, "'cause we gotta get t' Ky. She's in danger. I don't know why the bloody Light she's got ya 'ere, but if yer m' 'n ya'd be helpin' us get t' 'er, not standin' in our way 'n talkin' all cryptic. We're 'ere t' protect 'er." He'd rather not kill himself, so he's going to try talking. Little Kyleigh freezes at the reaching, grasping hands and she shrieks. It is a shriek that echoes through the entire dream and makes the ground shake a bit, but not to the extent that it did earlier. She collapses in on herself, sitting on the ground and curled up in a tight ball with her arms hugging her knees. "Stop... Stop... Make them STOP!!!" It's her dream, why doesn't she just make it stop herself? Perhaps she's convinced herself that it's real, either way she and only she is the one allowing him the power that he has to do this. If she were more in her right might he wouldn't be able to touch her without her permission. The child though... well children are supposed to feel helpless and so for the moment anyway she is. Yes, the ground shakes and the scream is heard even in the room where Wyntere and the two Neelkans are in, and at the scream the fake Neelkan glances towards the door, his eyes widening and then narrowing and he actually grrrrs. He looks back and forth between Wyntere and the real Neelkan and then he folds up the tessen, handing it to the real Neelkan. "Take it. Get 'er outta 'ere." To them both he says, "Ya have t' pass through the flames. If yer intentions're pure 'ey won't harm ya." And if not...? Well it's still only a dream right. Strange though, that fire seems awfully hot. "Hurry 'r 'ere'll b' nothin' left 'en ya get 'ere." Wyntere glances in the direction that the odd Neelkan looks and then back at the flames. Pure intentions? Does she have pure intentions for wanting Kyle? She's her daughter. What purer thought can that be? "Kyle, you have to make him stop! You can stop him!" It might reach the girl, it might not. Wyntere's eyes turn icy and glance to Neelkan. "Let's get her. Can you walk through the flames?" Yes, Wyntere is nervous and scared. "They can't hurt us in the waking world." She hopes that is oh so true. Taking a deep breath Wyntere starts walking towards Kyle to wake her or save her or something... The sound of the Prince's sick laugh echoes off the walls all around the poor little girl as his scarlet cape slides in from all sides. ALl manner of horrible faces appear within it. The faces this man puts on from time to time. The faces he shows people...and the faces he hides. Hands make contact with the little girl and begin roaming. Lots of hands. Truth be told it is just the cape...but this is a dream and dreams can have odd effects on fabric sometimes. "I can make them stop." He promises in a quiet voice. "You have to tell me who else hurts you though." you know, the ones that were doing it -before- he put his 2 cents in. Blood and bloody ashes. 'is isn't good! Grrrrr! The two Neels mimic each other for a second. "I don't bloody care if 'ey would hurt us. We're goin' in 'ere 'n savin' 'er." Neelkan reaches to grab onto the tessen and keep it in hand, his cloths returning to the black and gray colors of before (and his Warder cloak this time too) as he takes Wyn's hand with the free one. "Let's go." He doesn't look at all afraid. He isn't afraid of fire. If it were water, he would be afraid, but he's going to walk through it, and if it hurts, he's gonna keep walking through it. Yup. He's determined. (You sure he's not suicidal?) "'anks f'r yer help." he says to the other him before he starts to move towards the fire at a quick step. The only reason he wants to get Ky is because he said he would protect her, and after their little fight, he failed her. He needs to make it up to her. If she shows him... it'll stop? That clicks in Little Kyleigh's head and suddenly the they vanish from the tunnel. The hands vanish, the girl vanishes and the Jester on crack vanishes. They move to a small wooden room, a store room of some kind in a cliched abandoned werehouse. Two men are arguing. "What do you mean kill her?? You didn't say anything about killing her!" "Look, her pop isn't paying up, and is what we've been doing any better? You'd think he'd care that-" A third man walks in and the two men fall silent. "That what," the third one asks. "About this?" He holds up a piece of a pinky (Gross!) and throws it at the more scrupulous man who catches it gingerly looking like he's going to be sick. "You're right," the third man continues. "He isn't going to pay up. We might as well cut our losses." Their losses? What about Kyleigh's losses? He pulls a knife out of a sheath at his belt and walks towards a door. The shadowy form of the girl Kyleigh follows him, beackoning for the Jester to follow. The fake Neelkan disappears when the real one takes his tessen back. The fire as they walk through it is hot, but not to the point of pain. After all... Kyleigh doesn't hurt other people, only herself, always herself. She remains asleep on the block, bound by the gold chains, but there is a soft smile on her face that wasn't there before. "You came," the disembodied voice whispers again and the chains glisten more brightly in the firelight. And indeed the jester follows. These are perhaps not the answers to the questions he was hoping to find...but they are interesting. Wyntere reaches down to brush Kyleigh's hair. "Of course, I came. Where are you in the waking world? Tell me so we can go get you." Wyntere looks to the bonds of the chains knowing that she most likely can't undo them within Kyle's dreams. Once the physical Kyle is rescued, then Wyntere can work on piecing Kyle back together and fixing the girl's brokenness. "Ye'h. Of course we came." Neelkan says with a small grin, shaking off his cloak as if the fire singed it, even if it didn't really. He's glad the fake him is gone. That was kinda disoriently. "I'm sorry I yelled at ya." He apologizes a little bit, though she might not be able to really take it right now. He's going to let Wyn do the asking though. She may not want to tell him. He was mean to her. But she seems to have a fake him standing guard... So maybe she isn't mad. After Neelkan speaks there is silence except for the crackling of the fire surrounding the rock. And then, "I knew you were different." The voice actually sounds relieved, and a little happy... er.. as happy as she can be in the situation. The chained up Kyleigh still makes no move to open her eyes or move her lips. "Mother... I'll show you." The fire disappears and the scene does a bluring thing before it shifts and now Wyntere and Neelkan are in the same storage room that the the 3 men, little Kyleigh and the Jester are now entering. The bound Kyleigh remains bound but this time it is her wrists and ankles tied to a chair. Her hands and feet are bare and bleeding and it is easy to see that the wounds there are fairly fresh. But wait.. this wasn't what she was supposed to show them was it? Is she confused? It's possible. She's still divided in two... though with the rest of the wierdness going on that might not be entirely apparent. The little girl Kyleigh sees her mother and runs to Wyntere. "Momma!" Her hand is still dangling (isn't that nice) and she reaches out for the Aes Sedai, as if expecting to be picked up. The 3 men see none of this though and instead go to stand before the older orange haired girl. "Looks like no one loves you girly. Your dad won't pay up so I'm afraid there's nothing left for us to do here." She slowly lifts her head to look at him. "He... he won't pay?" She sounds totally stupefied. "What do you mean he won't pay? No! Your messenger must not have gotten through to him! There has to be some kind of mistake." Her tone quickly escalates to something boardering on hysterical. He shakes his head though and advances towards her with the knife. The glint of steel reflects in her green eyes as they widen, fixing on the blade. This is most definately -not- what they were asking Kyleigh. The mean -now- not -then-, but she doesn't realize that. She's been living in the past for the past few days. Wyntere reaches down to pick up the 'little' Kyleigh and pull her into her arms. "Neelkan, make her remember now. Go protect the older Kyleigh. I'll take care of this one. Aelgar, princess, kidnapped... get her to remember." Then Wyntere glances to the 6 yr old in her arms and takes that little hurt hand. "Kyle, do me a favor, close your eyes and make a wish for your hand to be all better. Once the wish is made nod your head and I'll kiss your nose. Then when you open your eyes, you won't be hurt anymore." Don't you wish all illnesses and booboos fixed that easily? Please Neelkan, handle the other Kyle... Wai? What's he supposed to do!? Neelkan stares at Wyntere dumbly for a few moments and mutters something about how women are confusing and how's he supposed to do this. Grrrrr!! He shakes his head and moves towards her, shaking the fan at the men, "Leave 'er 'lone ya milk drinkers! If it's a matter of money, 'n I'll pay it, just let 'er go." What's he supposed to do? Beat up dream people? He'll just wish himself some money and then try to get her to remember herself. Scary weird guys won't help her get her head together. The prince has seen everything he needs to see. He sees the people who have caused her all the trauma, and now he knows who mother is. Aes Sedai. The jester just looks at Wyntere for a long moment, then to the men and the orange haired girl...and then...he's gone. Just like that as the Prince pulls himself out of this disturbed woman's dreams. He has the answers he needs...he thinks. Little Kyleigh looks down at her hand and then up into her mother's face and she beams and nodnods. She squeezes her eyes tightly shut, cutely and her little lips move as she whispers her wish to herself and snaps her head in a nod, waiting for the promised kiss on the nose, and Wyntere, you know this girl faaaaaar too well. Her hand does indeed heal and she looks down at it in amazement before throwing both her arms around Wyntere's neck and hugging her tightly. The man with the knife stops and blinks at Neelkan. His question? Well it's now 'where the flame did you come from'. Instead he arches an eyebrow. "You'll pay it?" Bound Kyleigh looks at him as well, but she doesn't ask 'who are you'. In fact she echoes her almost murderers question. "You'll pay it?" And little Kyleigh in Wyntere's arm pipes up almost a little too cheerfully, "He'll pay it!" This simple commend seems to have brought the dream to a screeching halt. The Jester's exit goes unnoticed by the disturbed woman or her child self, or any of her other creations. The man looks Neelkan over and holds out his hand. He doesn't even name a price, he just waits to see the goods. Wyntere keeps her arms wrapped tight around the younger Kyleigh glad her little trick work. Then she moves over to the older Kyleigh ignoring the men. Wyntere looks down at the older Kyleigh, "Kyle, wrong kidnapping. Show me the other one where you are the princess of Aelgar. Where I'm the Mother of the tower. Please, Kyleigh... we can't stay much longer." Wyntere glances to Neelkan and nods to him. Oh good, smart move Neelkan. Um... Money. A'right. Neelkan searches his pockets and wishes up a bunch of gold as best he can. He's done dreaming a little bit, so he knows how to want things into existance. What he pulls out is a medium sized money bag and places it in the man's hand. "Now hand 'er o'er." He offers a small comforting smile to Ky. It'll be okay. A red chicken is here to save you. (It's PEACOCK!!) I feel like chicken tonight, like chicken tonight. PEACOCK!!! The man takes the bag greedily and shows it to the other men, and they simply vanish. Blackness decends and a circle of light surrounds both Kyleighs, Neelkan and Wyntere. The girl remains in Wyntere's arms, and Kyleigh remains tied to the chair, still staring up at Neelkan. She didn't kill them... It's taking her brain a while to process this information. It was different, and she didn't kill them... They were going to kill her, true, but she didn't have to... (well, you know). Then she looks up at Wyntere and nods. The scene swirls into a hallway, the hallway outside the room where Neel and Kyleigh had the infamous fight. Then a door in the hallway opens and there is another small random room there. Once again a door opens, but this time it is a secret door, in the very wall of the palace. How disturbing is that? "There, I showed you. Now can you please untie me?" She looks up at them both with pleading green eyes. Wyntere glances to Kyleigh and looks over to Neelkan and nods. "Please set her free." Then looks down at Kyleigh, "Kyle, you're still in the palace? Down that passage? We are coming for you. You're going to come home when this is all over with." Wyntere starts rocking the little girl in her arms in hopes she'll fall asleep upon Wynt's shoulder. "just hang in there and trust us. Be ready to channel if we need you." Putting the tessen away, Neelkan moves to untie her as quickly as he can, saying, "I'm sorry." Again, very softly, then keeps at it til get gets her untied and offers a grin, letting the ropes drop to the ground. Ok, Wyn, they know where she is, so they better go pull her out, shouldn't they? Physically rescueing her can't be much more difficult. They've already walked through fire for the girl! Kyleigh nods to Wyntere. "Yes." She looks a little ill for a moment as she remembers something... unpleasant. What the heck could be more unpleasant than what she just showed them? Well.. this is more recent unpleasantness. She watches Neelkan untie her and smiles back very softly at his grin and apology. "Thank you. I swear, I'll never mention the M word again." She starts to rub one wrist with the opposite hand but stops when she sees... her hands. She doesn't freak out though. Instead she just sighs softly, resigned. "I don't suppose you can heal these with a kiss on the nose, can you." Little Kyleigh remains peaceful and quiet, her head resting on Wyntere's shoulder. Wyntere looks down at Kyleigh's hands and then sighs. "Only in dreams I can. We can have them healed at the tower if you want. If not, then I'll keep you anyway. That's your decision, Kyleigh. But for now you rest and save your strength. You're going to make it through this." Make it through what Wyntere sends you through afterwards though... surely the punishment can't be this bad. It'll be awful but at least it won't be life threatening and you'll be safe. Wyntere glances to little Kyle in her arms. "Let me get this little one to bed. You sleep well, my daughter and have more pleasant dreams about when you get back with me for good." Well, at least Wyntere's worry is calming down. The Gray tilts her head so she can kiss little Kyle on the forehead. "I certainly can't heal 'em with a kiss on the nose." Neelkan says, wrinkling his face up a little as if disgusted by the very thought of giving her a kiss. But instead he reaches over and ruffles her hair a little, saying, "Ya better not say the 'M' word 'gain." And grins and glances to Wyn. "Just tell m' when yer ready t' go." "You're not going to-" Kyleigh starts, looking up at Wyntere with pleading eyes, but Neelkan's mention of kissing, even on the nose, produces a very similar reaction of Kyleigh. "Gross! You'd better not!" She doesn't shrink away from the ruffling of her hair though, like she normally would at even the slightest touch from a boooooy. Instead she just grumps a little and takes it like a... er... well not like a man. :P It really says something though that she had a Neelkan of her own guarding her sleep, even after the fight. At all this talk of going though she looks worried again. "You're not going to leave me alone are you?" There, she got to finish what she was going to say before. "Please mom... Something bad will happen if you do I just -know- it." Well, she's paranoid but you didn't think she was going to come out completely unscathed mentally did you? And the fact that this is a dream? She doesn't actually realize she's dreaming if you want the truth. Wyntere looks to Neelkan and nods. "I'm ready to go. We need to get the others and get Kyleigh out of this place." Wyntere looks to older Kyleigh and then hands the younger Kyleigh to her. "Take care of this little girl. She's very special. Kyleigh, you can stop anything here with your mind. This place is your dreams. And in the waking world you can channel. Be strong for me. You'll see me soon, I promise." Wyntere hugs both Kyleighs and gives them both a kiss. "Here," Wyntere pulls her pendant from around her neck and places it over Kyleigh's head. "I'm going to get that back from you. And as long as you know I love you, you aren't alone." Glancing to neelkan, Wyntere nods. "Let's go." Her blue eyes flash with fire and detrmination to get all the tower people back home. "You're not alone, Ky." Neelkan says, giving her a wink. And yes, he even spoke without his accent. He hands his tessen takes her hand and put his tessen there, folding the fingers around the handle. "'ere. Give 'is back t' the other m'." Yeah, it doesn't mean as much as the pendant, but he figures if the dream Neelkan had it, then he might as well give it to her. He ain't gonna kiss her, so she's just gonna have to suffer the idea of not getting kissed by a deleriously handsome young man. Muhahahaha. Ahem. Kyleigh takes little Kyleigh and looks down at her. She looks a little... awkward with the girl but little Kyleigh doesn't seem to mind. She sticks her thumb in her mouth and waves bye bye to their mommy and the pretty (she can admit that because she's only 6) red haired boy. Kyleigh lets Wyntere put the pendant on her and reaches out with an incomplete hand and takes the tessen, grinning back just a little. It's something of a brave grin though because she -really- doesn't want to be left alone... but it probably helps that she has little Kyleigh with her and maybe the other Neelkan is even lurking around somewhere. And if the real Neelkan won't kiss her she can always do scandalous things with the- The person who was narrating this feature, has just been sacked. There will be no kissing with -this- girl. :P
