08/23/2000 Rooftop, White Tower, Tar Valon Those that venture up to the top of the tower, find that it is breathtaking no matter whether the sun is overhead or it's the moon that lights the land. Whether it's your first time to step foot upon the roof or the first time after a hundred years, a feeling of awe rushes through most that take in the sight of surrounding beauty. Nothing but Sky above, earth below, and the always present wind that seems to want to whip around people as if in a dancing to some unknown tune beckoning the folk to join along. During the day, the sun beats down upon the land as one looks out over the edge to the rolling countryside. There are many farms and roads and mountains and streams. A toy world from such a great height. Something that might strike those who ponder things is that boundaries do not exist here in this tranquilty above the height that the birds fly. During the night time, the world is pitch black save for the moon and stars. There is feel of standing in the center of blackness with nothing beneath beneath you or around you like you are suspended in air with the only the stars to keep you from falling. The twinkling lights seem to call those who are inclined to hear, "Sit.. Listen to our stories of old. Stories from other time and another age...." Espi stands looking out over the edge of the Tower, sighing softly. Soon..very soon now. Hopefully everone got to be free to head up here. Soon they will all hopefully be inside the Hall. She crosses her arms over her chest and sighs, glancing down to the small cage that waits for a certain person to come. She can't help but glance over toward the doorway in the hopes that she will arrive. Vashta comes up at the top of the Tower, seeing Espi she moves over to her side quickly.. "Espi?" Sunan races back up the stairs, seeming agitated. He hissses at Espiria urgently, "I couldn't get to her! And they're getting ready to begin the Trial! How arev we going to get in? We're not permitted..." Espiria smiles, nodding once. "Vash. I'm glad you could make it. Sorry about the change in plans but I had to change the meeting place. This is much safer." She scowls at Sunan a moment, "Do you want to bring the whole Tower up here? Kepp you voice down or all is lost. Is that understood?" She sighs softly, "Now calm down...We do have this planned for so there is /no/ reason to get upset." Vashta sighs and nods, before she wrings her hands back and forth.."I'm...really scared." Sunan takes a deep breath, "What is the plan, Espiria?" Varcel steps out on to the rooftop, pulling his coat snuggly closed. He looks around, and spots the small gathering. "H'lo, Espra," he greets, serious as always around others, but hardly seeming to be worked up over the nights events. A little bit behind Varcel, another person pops up onto the rooftop. He carries over his shoulder a bundle of some kind which seems to contain something. Or more accurately, a good amount of somethings. Neelkan offers a friendly grin to Espiria and Sunan, and a polite nod to Novice. He pays no mind to Varcel. Nope. He wasn't with him, just happened to be right behind him. Now what has he got there anyway? Espiria sighs softly, nodding. "I know, Vash. We all are. But we have to stay calm for Wyntere Sedai's sake, right? We can't loose our heads in this or she is lost to us forever. Do you understand?" She glances over to Sunan, "The other will be coming up here soon, so bear with us while we get the group together. Varcel is the eldest so listen to him. he will tell you what you need to do. If Varcel isn't there, listen to Neel nextly and he will tell you what is needed, Understood? The plan is this...The rooms that we have on this list will need to be searched. Since it seems Vorsha was detained, I will have to do it myself. Redd can help me if he makes it. I've narrowed it down to to less than what we thought before. Taking into account those who are not here..and those who left just before the murder." She glances over to Varcel and Neel, "Good. Now, Vash... here are the mice that you are to use. You best get down there. We will have to get going soon. Remember send them only if you see anyone leave the room." She smiles at the girl, turning now to Neel. "What have you got there, Neel." Vashta nods. "I understand, Espi.." She nods and smiles, before grabbing the mice.. "Come on little ones, were going to use you to save Wyntere Sedai." Sunan lips move into a tiny forwn as he hears he has to obey Varcel, but it's an involuntary reaction. He'd clean the latrines with his bare hands to save Wyntere, and considering the overpowering terror sickness gives him, that's something. "We're searching rooms? But I thought we would try to get to the Meeting..." Then he sisghs, "What am I to do?" Varcel looks from Sunan to Neelkan and back. He'd rather not have to be the bad guy, but they don't like him already. And SUnan's frown seals it. "I trust we won't have any problems, Fledglings?" He knows he's gonna pay for that later. Throwing a wink at Espi, Neelkan kneels (no pub intended) down and tosses the bundle on the floor in front of him. He unfolds the cloth until what's inside can be scene. Lots, and lots of thick cloth. And cloth that seems to shift slightly in color every few seconds. He picks one out of the group, a thick, large cloak, looks over the size and tosses it towards Varcel. He pulls out a slightly smaller one and tosses it to Sunan. Another one is pulled and this one gets thrown to Espi and another is pulled over his shoulders. Two more sit in the bundle. "When Redd 'n Vorsh get 'ere, I got some f'r 'em both t'." But weren't only five Warder cloaks stolen? He stole the sixth from Wyntere's room. Her gaidin's. He shrugs at Varcel as if to say 'no problem from him'. Espiria glances over to Sunan a moment, "We have to get evidence first, Sunan which is why we will be searching the rooms. We don't have much time either. The trial has to have started by now and we have to hurry." She glances at Varcel trying not to smile, but she blinks in shock when Neel pulls out the cloaks, "I'm not even going to ask, Neel. We don't have time to wonder where you got these from, but I can imagine.." She shakes her head, quickly pulling the cloak around her and nearly vanishing. Only her head seems to still be there. "It was a good idea though. Once we get downstairs, I will lift the wards from the door to give us entrance into a room. " She pulls out the keys, "I will unlock the door and head inside. "For now..It will be me and Suna searching the room. I will leave the watching to both you and Varcel, Neel. Keep a good eye out in case any mice come running your way and /no/ stomping them." Her eye stop on Neel. "We will keep searching this way and trade off to give one of you a rest from watching. Remember../don't/ touch /anything/ till I say it's alright. If it's got a trap on it..or worse fire set to it, it may destroy the evidence..or the person touching it. Is that perfectly understood?" Sunan ties the cloak around him, face exhibiting a bit ofpride at ebning able to do it quickly and gracefully, if not operfectly. Then he turns to Varcel and states quiet bluntly, "I do not like you. I would like to be your friend, but you are not interested, you only become mean. So I don't get along with you. However, this is Wyntere Sedai's life. And Johiah Gaidin's. I would work with anyone to save them, or do anything. Your query is unnecessary; and I believe that you know it." Then he turns to Espiria, "Understood. Let us hurry." Varcel rolls his eyes once Sunan's turned away. Yes, the Mistress of Novices's live is at stake, they could get in trouble for stealing warder cloaks, they're messing with the Black Ajah, so _naturally_ this is a time for moralizing and lecturing. He fastens his cloak, taking a moment to try and get used to how it flickers in his peripheral vision. "I'll help you try and return this," he says quietly to Neelkan. Neelkan has quite a few reactions. He just grins and winks at Espi as she says she won't ask. Which is good. Because he had no intention of telling. He has every intention of giving them back. And if they save their lives then likely no one will complain very long about how unethical it was to steal them, will they? Then he blinks at Sunan as he's oh so blunt. Neelkan isn't even that blunt! He doesn't say anything though, and then stares at Varcel in shock. Is he offering to /HELP!?/ Ok. Um... He's just going to nod and try not to fall over as he straightens up and holds the cloak around him tightly. "Let's go 'en. We got a friend t' save." Espiria glances over to Sunan with a nod. Her face is probably more emotionless right now than it's ever been, but then, she knows how serious a matter this is. She needs every ounce of her concentration to make it all work. Every ounce of strength she has to gets the 'slipping weaves' in so the rooms can be checked. She glances over to Varcel and then to Neel. Good they are working things out. That's important. She smiles to all and nods, "Yes. What we do tonight will determine if she survives. Let's go." She turns quickly heading for the doorway and down the stairs. Sixth Floor, White Tower, Tar Valon Young women in plain white dresses move in and out of tiny white doors with names written on them. The hall here is plain wood, scrubbed to a shine. Candles, not balls of the Power, light the way. A few notes -- reminders to the girls -- can be seen posted here. There is also a schedule of assigned chores on a chalkboard in the middle of the hall giving the roster for each day. Girls periodically walk up and check it, only to walk away grumbling. The air smells clean, like soap and water, mostly. It is somewhat stuffy and cramped up here, however, and hot, in this highest area of the Tower. Varcel motions for Neel to take the point while he checks the hallway on the way down. Sunan follows silently, stalking. He feels the blood beating wildly in his heart. He's amazed that no one else feels the vibrations it sends throughbhis legs and into the ground. He touches the amulet under his clothing, so as not to glint and attarct attention. Neelkan moves down in the front, his fan consealed in his hand behind the cloak. He doesn't say anything and moves as silently as humanly possible. He was definately a bandit in a former life. As in the life before the Tower. He carries the remaining two cloaks under the cloak in the fold of his arm. The one not holding the fan of course. He looks perfectly calm, and actually a little excited. Like they were going to a festival and not trying to save someone's life. Kyleigh is waiting outside her room, tapping her foot impatiently. Essspiiiiiria... where are you? The Accepted -told- her to meet her right here. What's the hold up? Oh wait, maybe she's a little late.... Blink... blink... blink... the scowl vanishes as Kyleigh sees the Gaidin moving down the hall away from her. This is so wierd that it has to be them. She glances around before moving as quietly as she can to catch up with them, hoping someone will fill her in on the way. Espiria glances down the hall smiling. Good, right on time. She nods to Kyle and motions her to join the group, putting her finger to her lips in a 'shh' motion. She gets up closer to Neel though mutering to him for a moment before she nods and turns to the rest of the group. Her voice lowered, "Coast is clear so far. Our diestination will be the Aes Sedai rooms. Stay behind Neel and Varcel and let them find out first if the coast is clear. Kyle..your with Sunan and I when we search the rooms. Remember..don't touch anything unless I clear it first. I won't have you getting fried..understood?" Her eyes stay on the novice for a moment longer before she motions to Neel and Varcel for the next floor. "Let's go.." Fifth Floor, White Tower, Tar Valon Women in the banded dress of the Accepted hurry down this hall, on their way to chores or study as necessary. Each door is about the same, leading into large, comfortable rooms, with the owner's name upon the door. Old Saferan rugs cover the floors, worn but still good and still fairly pretty with their flowered designs. The hallway is lit by tiny balls made out of the One Power. Occasionally you see an Accepted stop to renew a fading light. Companionable chatter can occasionally be heard. Sunan simply follows Espiria silently. He runs his finger obver the blade, waiting... Moving head with Varcel only a little behind him, Neelkan looks around carefully, ready to pull the cloak up to cover him completely if he needs to. Glancing back at the new Novice that has joined them, he pulls his arm out from under the cloak and holds one of the remaining ones behind him and back towards her. Better safe then dead. And he still looks calm and excited. "No trouble so far." He mentions back to Espi and the others. Hey now.. who said anything about her not being able to take care of herself? Kyle scowls of course, but nods and falls into rank. She makes a 'you want me to wear -that-' face at the cloak, but puts it on. Why are they parading around like Gaidin anyway? Now is not the time to be asking those questions though. Still... just in case something bad is going to happen shhe chews on her thumbnail a little, getting it to a nice, sharp point. What, is she planning on scratching someone's eyes out? Well... not that way anyway. Espiria glances over to Neel and Varcel, nodding several times before she glances over to the rest in the group. She smiles at Kyle and Sunan, motioning them to follow her before she steps away from the wall and heads for the next level down. Soon..very soon we shall see. She scowls, thinking of the creature that did this, but actually manages not to loose her cool. heading forward, she follows Neel and Varcel to the next level and very likely their goal. Fourth Floor, White Tower, Tar Valon Carpets in the seven colors of the seven Ajahs spiral out down various hallways, leading to the quarters of the Sisters who share that Ajah.Lights made out of the Power bob cheerfully down the hall. The smell of crushed herbs fills these halls from several pouporri burners whichcan be found here, resting on tiny tables. Cool-eyed women in dresses in every color from every part of the world stroll down this hall. The sounds of doors opening and closing can be heard quiteoften, as the Aes Sedai who live here go about their business. Occasionally a Novice or Accepted can be seen delivering a message or otherwise about errands or chores. A group of cloaked figures moves down the ramp and stops in the hallway. Two of them go off and check the hall in general before heading back to the rest of the group. They all seem to be dressed in Gaidin cloaks, making it hard to tell if they are even there, but every so often an Accepted dress peeks out from one of them. They start moving down the hall after the one seems to motion to the other and speak quietly, "Alright..let's be quick. I will lift the ward on the first room. Kyle..you and Sunan will enter and I will follow. Neel and Varcel will stay out here for the moment to make sure noone shows up." She nods to everyone and moves in front of the first doorway. Her hands motion and then she nods, "This is Mindra Sedai's room..let's be quick now." Sunan nods vigorously and enters the room with Kyliegh. He positions himself just a bit ahead so if something happens... Nodding, Neelkan lifts the hood of the cloak to cover his poofy streaked hair that is his most apparent feature from a distance. With that problem taken care of, he positions himself on the opposite side of the hall as Varcel and watches carefully under the egde of the hood with his narrowed peacock blue-green eyes. He almost hopes a Black sister shows up so he can thump her over the head with his metal fan. Kyleigh slips into the room after Sunan and looks around. Mindra Sedai, eh? After making sure there's nothing going to pop out at her or try and fry her as Espiria so nicely put it, Kyleigh turns back towards the Accepted and whispers, "What exactly are we looking for?" Just like when they went after the disk she kind of goes into 'intensely curious, searching' mode. It's very Brown. She even forgets to scowl for the moment. (They go in. Come out after a while) Sunan gasps, "Blood an ashes. I need to see bloody Gere Gaidin to work on my calisthenics." As if he isn't getting enough excercise with his training. He rmeoves his amulet and cloak, handing the former to Espiria, "I need to go so we are not caught. You must use my amulet to free Wyntere." Espiria widens her eyes, nodding. "Go then. We will take care of it and try not to worry for her. Light will prevail, Sunan." She smiles, nodding to him before slipping the amulet into a pocket. Woh! Sunan swore! Neelkan stares at the boy from under his hood, then grins and goes back to looking out. He was able to finish all his lessons and chores early, so he has no worries of that getting him into trouble. Kyleigh comes out of the room, scowling more than she was when she went in. Yeah.. she does that a lot, but right now she actually has a reason. She arches a bright orange eyebrow at Sunan's amulet, wondering what it has to do with freeing Wyntere. Oooo, will it explode or something? That would be something to see! Meanwhile, back in the hallway :) Kyleigh adjusts her colorshifting cloak and glances at the row of rooms, wondering which one is next. At least she's being quiet... Espiria sighs softly, turning to the rest after watching Sunan take off downstairs. "Alright...Varcel...you stay out here and keep watch. Neel..come with us." She turns, trying to stay as quiet as possible as she moves over toward the next door. Cyli's door to be exact. She motions with her hands, frowning slightly as she manages to slip under the wards. "Alright..come on now." Cyli's Room, White Tower, Tar Valon Bright, beautiful yellow curtains give this room an immediately cheery air. They are gathered at either end, revealing huge windows that let every bit of sunshine through, show off every bit of weather. Soft yellow carpeting seems to want to swallow the feet. The cozy fireplace at the end of this room seems only to want to add to this homey atmosphere. A large bed can be found here, covered over by handmade patchwork quilts in various designs and a wide variety of colors. Big overstuffed pillows are piled about. Relics from childhood, from an old doll to a stuffed teddy bear, rest on a small display shelf nearby. A bedside table holds whatever book the occupant is currently reading. There are a few large cushioned chairs, comfortably mis-matched, about to host visitors. Espiria scowls and looks around the room again as she rubs her chin. "Kyle...you check the bedding again. Neel you have the closet this time...I will check her desk." A Yellow's room. Maybe..and it /was/ top of he rlist of suspects. This is a nice cozy hearth made of bricks. The bricks stick out at various levels giving a rough look to the fireplace. Some of the bricks look loose as if they can be pushed. Are the bricks made like that for a special purpose or just for looks? Kyleigh wonders if Espiria hates her or something. I mean.. of -all- places, she gets to check, the bed. Nope, no one in the bed. No one under the bed, except a big stinky monster. Hey, maybe there are skeletons in the closet too! That's enough of sarcastic Kyleigh for one day. At least she keeps these thoughts to herself. Looking through the closet without touching anything isn't easy. But he doesn't see anything that really stands out. Neelkan turns around and says, "Nothin' but a woman with bad fashion sense." He's actually joking. Like he has fashion sense? He didn't see any boxes, or any creases in the back wall or floor that would suggest a hiding place. Espiria finishes with the desk and nods to you both. She turns around, glancing at the room before her eyes fall to the fireplace. Her head tips a bit to one side as she steps forward, "Something..is..odd here." She gets down on her knees and checks to see if anything is blocking what she thinks is a moveable brick? She blinks, "I do believe we have something.." Espiria pushes one of the bricks deeper into the fireplace. It makes a small grinding sound and a small chest-like box drops from somewhere inside the fireplace. Espiria widens her eyes a bit, looking it over carefully for traps? Moving over to the fireplace, Neelkan glances over it, then nods, "'at looks like somethin' t' me, ye'h. Ya go first." She was all paranoid about things frying them, so he's going to let her touch it and move it around first. He doesn't want to get fried, but he doesn't want her fried either so he adds, "Just be careful." When she does that, he nods and looks at the box. Hrm. How interesting. "Yup. 'at's definately somethin' a'right." Kyleigh jumps and whirls around, gasping. She starts to hurry forward and then stops herself. "What is it," she hisses quietly... staring at the box. Unconsciously she's digging that sharpened fingernail into the flesh of her other arm, enabling her to touch the source, though she doesn't. Finally she gets her feet a moving and carefully steps over to get a closer look. Espiria reaches over to the box and opens it after she's checked for anything. Nothing on the box thankfully, "I do believe we have found something. Let's see what's inside." She reaches inside the box and looks. Hmm...I do believe we have found our evidence! Look! The tiger issing from the novice." She grins, reaching for the letter first. "Hmm." A letter of simple paper, without any heading states: I don't know who you work for, but you will stop the murders of novices. I will not allow any member of the Dark to go about killing innocent children, no matter the motives. I also want to know who ordered this insane action so that I can find them and bring them to justice for the action. Perform these two actions within one week, Cyli, or you'll be hunted down by my agents and brought before me in all my fury -The Asha'Cor Espiria widens her eyes and goes slightly greenish, "She did it! She really did do it!" She hands the letter over to both of you, "Look..." Neelkan leans over to peek over Espi's shoulder and read the letter. He looks at it and nods sagely, a grin widening on his face, "Looks like Cyli /Sedai/ is our woman. Let's get the rest of the evidence and get down 'ere as quickly as possible. 'n ya all don't mind if I hit 'er d'ya?" Kyleigh takes the letter from Espiria and reads it over, her eyes going very wide. "Black mother of Ba'alzamon..." she whispers reading it over and shivers a little. "She kept these things?! What a-" ooops, we're using our inside voices right now Kyleigh, remember? She actually grins at Neel, but it's not a very pleasant grin, more.. wolfish.. but without the fangs, that is his department alas. "Not if I get to her first." She can't wait to see their faces. She blinks as something in the box catches her eye again. "Isn't that Wyntere's," she asks of a pendant there. Espiria frowns deeply taking the letter in hand as well the box after she nods, "More evidence. Wyntere Sedai had it stolen from her reciently. While in the cell no less." She frowns deeply, "Let's get down there and tell Mother about this." She rises to her feet, holding everything very tightly as she does. "It's not leaving my hands till we put it into Mother's." Hall of Servants, White Tower, Tar Valon Seven polished tables are arranged in a stately semi-circle about a central chair. The chair has the flame of Tar Valon carved within it, and rests atop a platform, so that the person within the seat would hold her head higher than any other in the room. There are spaces enough between any one of the tables to allow for movement towards the dais, or for someone to stand between. A cloth, colored for each of the Ajahs, rests upon the appropriate table, in the same order they are found on Accepted dresses. Three chairs are provided at every station. The ceiling is high and vaulted here, with the rafters soaring high above the heads of all. The room itself is nearly the shape of a dome. Polished wooden floors and walls create a shine, almost a glare. Lanterns hang from the rafters, dangling from black iron chains. The air of the room is heavy and solemn. Espi comes bursting thru the doors, arms holding a box in them. She sees what is about to take place and shouts as loud as she can, "Wait! The New evidence must be seen!" She glances over to Mother, calm face set with a grim determination. Yes, is there a flicker is happiness in her eyes. Indeed there is. But she waits for Mother to say if she may step forward. Wyntere stands in the center of 13 with her head down. At the sounds of Espiria, the Gray turns around. What's this? is the look that crosses her face. Johiah lets out a long breath. Was he actually holding it? Maybe, just maybe, there is hope yet. Not that he didn't have any before right? err, lets not dwell on the past. He turns quickly to look at the entering students, very interested for the first time in what is about to take place. Espiria glances toward each face carefully, showing nothing of course as she ends up looking back to Mother. She tries not to look at Wynt. No that would give far too much away just now. Mother has to see what she has. She knows the other came with her, hopefully they can keep their calm as well. Right behind the Accepted is a... Gaidin? No. No... It's that annoying Trainee, Neelkan. Recognizeable by his red hair with the white streaks in it. But he's wearing a Gaidin cloak? Guess that explains where they vanished to, doesn't it? Lost in the Laundry... Yeah right. Yeah, he would should have taken it off. Ahem. A couple Gaidin the the group probably aren't looking too happy. But he doesn't care. What? It's a stupid rule. And this one is Johiah's anyway! His eyes are narrowed in a glare and he looks ready to beat someone silly. And his glare moves around the room as if hoping to catch a certain someone. Grrr. Grrr. Kyleigh bursts in after Espiria and Neelkan, her.. uh... colorshifting cloak flapping in the breeze created by the opening door and being nice dizzying. Calm? Uh.. Espi, are you asking for a miracle here? Seeing Wyntere in the circle of thirteen, the word, "STOP!" just kind of tumbles it's way out of her mouth. Ooops. Well... burn it! There's no taking it back now. "You shall be allowed to admit your evidence." Kaomi booms out, stopping in her pacing. Good! She doesn't have to make up some stupid speech on the fly. She looks immensely relieved...and unsurprised. Like she's been expecting this all evening long...but they certainly cut it close! Cyli seems a little taken back by the bursting of children into the Hall of Servants.. "What is this?" She looks over at mother.. "Surely you don't think these children found anything?" She looks back towards the others, eyes focusing on Espiria. Denn'ryiel certainly was not expecting this. But judging from the Amyrlin's reaction and the looks on the students faces, a small amount of hope blossoms on the Sedai's face. Can Wyntere be spared? No, 11th hour heroics only happen in gleeman's tales. Best not to get too hopeful. She looks startled again to see Neelkan, clad in a Warder cloak. Blinking her dark eyes, Taigana looks over at the students and then over at the Amyrlin. She's going to let /students/ and ones who obviously /steal/ submit evidence. She sniffs softly, then steadies herself, smoothing her hands over her skirts. What evidence could they possibly have? Likely just trying in a futile attempt to save their friend. Keay gasps and a small yipe exits her throat. Light bless that girl! She is a miracle worker! A wide smile brightens her face! The grip on his staff light lessons quite visibly. Did Raeth just let out a long breath? The granite gaidin? Cold gaze almost seems to soften once the students arrive. It's about bloody time! Looking to the students, Wyntere looks puzzled. The 13 were around her... maybe she isn't getting stilled? Just maybe? This stuff better be good or I'm doomed. Looking to Cyli, Wyntere snaps now. You don't talk about her students! "These /students/ are far smarter than you think. And will make great Aes Sedai and Gaidin when they finish their training." She's about to say something about learning respect first though...but she stays silent. Whohoo!! new evidence. Now lets try not to make a mess of this, it just might save Wyntere's hide. Can't botch that up now can we. Definately not. Johiah looks intently at the approaching students, interest apparent on his face. Perhaps this is just getting GOOD. Espiria sighs heavily, walking forward. "I have here a small box. Within this box were several items which I hold up for you each in turn. The Tiger that is inscribed with the deceased novice's name. Nextly, I have here Wyntere Sedai's pendant. This was found also in this box. I have a letter from the Asha'Cor to this person, warning her to stop killing children. This along with the several other pieces that I hold out to you now, prove that Wyntere Sedai did not commit that foul act." She hands the evidence over to Mother, setting each small piece before her as she names them off. She then lays a pendant down next to the evidence, "Mother...this is an object that has been with Trainee Sunan since he arrived. It's a ter'angreal capbable of making a person tell the truth." Her eyes fall on Cyli Sedai now as she lets the evidence speak for itself. Kaomi plucks up the letter, perhaps that one holding more interest for her for a variety of reasons. "This is very interesting," she murmurs. "This letter is addressed...to one Cyli Sedai." She looks over at Cyli, embracing the source. "Sisters. Bind her and shield her." She takes the pendant over to Cyli and holds it out like a sword. "And you, woman, will speak the truth. Did you kill the novice and frame Wyntere Sedai?" Looking to where Espi's eyes fall, Neelkan's own follow and glare at Cyli Sedai worse then any Yellow he's glared at in the past. And having spent months in the Infirmary, he glared at many a Yellow. His fists are clenched and he barely holds himself back from doing something besides glare. He moves one step forward. Then another. Grrr. Grrr. Can he hit her? Please, can he hit her? Denn'ryiel only gives herself a second to look stunned at the turn around, before she is all business and focuses on Cyli. She's too weak either to bind or shield the Sedai, but she steps up anyways, in case the woman wishes to strike out before she can be contained. A cold grim look is on her face. Kyleigh watches smugly and folds her arms across her chest as Espiria hands over the evidence, though her eyes do widen a little at the revelation about Sunan's ter'angreal. She opens her mouth to start speaking, but it's probably just as well that Kaomi's proclamation cuts her off. She too turns to glare at Cyli, but despite her talk of wanting to get her hands on her she makes no move to actually do so, and as Neelkan steps forward she 'accidently' puts a foot on the end of the cloak to hopefully stop him from doing anything she would consider stupid. Cyli reaches out for the Amulet.. "I did it.. I killed her.. long live the Dark Lord.." She says, grabbing the amulet... In one suit.. rather quickly she embraces, sending a weave of air at Espiria..a /strong/ weave, and then turns the power into the amulet... causing it to explode in her hand. This Gray would sheild Cyli, but well.. she's sheilded herself. Alright, help the chaos. Glancing to Johiah.. "Hold off." A kind hand placed on his chest to slow him down. The glancing to Neelkan and Kyleigh. "Neel, Kyleigh, come here." No.. she won't let the two of you ruin this or yourselves. Once the students are there, Wyntere places a gentle hand on each shoulder. Keay bounds towards the Dark Sister, grabbing the POwer and quickly following Mother's orders. She look to Wyntere and then to Mother as to what to do. Taigana's eyes widen and she follows the orders of the Amyrlin. She embraces the sourse and can't shield her on her own now that the woman is channeling, so looks to the Amyrlin, silently asking to be taken into a link. "Still her." The Amyrlin says flatly. She takes Taigana into the link as requested, the power blazing out of her. With the angreal and the link...she is strong enough to do it herself. So despite her order...Spirit weaves form a sharp knife and /slam/ down upon Cyli, cutting her from the source completely. She's admitted it in front of everyone, there is no need for a trial. "I declare Wyntere and Johiah fully aquitted of all charges whatsoever." She has a grim smile upon her face. "I also this day declare that Haven Dazar, mother of Wyntere Sedai, and Aes Sedai of the /Blue/ Ajah, to be postmortem, innocent of any and all charges leveled against her 100 years ago, for it is clear to me upon review of this evidence, as well as Chronicle records /and/ the Journal of Haven Dazar that she too was framed by this da'tsang known as Cyli!" Espiria widens her eyes at the coming force of air, throwing up what she has time to throw up before the air smacks into the shield she put up. She gets knocked over, flying backwards a bit before she hits the ground with a loud 'ooof' as the wind gets knocked out of her. She is slow in moving, but she manages to work back to her feet with a hand to her forehead. She looks over to Cyli and nods to Mother's command. Good. Good riddance. Raeth squints against the sudden explosion. What the? He remains standing at the Amyrlin's side, gaze shifting from student to sedai to gaidin, staff at ready. Right, if that would do any good against a channeler. At Kaomi's words, a small smile cracks the gaidin's mask, then a very deadly gaze is sent to Cyli. Cyli groans sharply as the source is ripped from her so violently.. "NOO!!!" She cries out, falling down to her knees, sobbing.. "What have I done! Light!" She is trembling sharply.. "What have I done..." Denn'ryiel sees the weave directed at Espiria, and since she's moving she judges she's probably the best suited to react to it. She tries to reach the younger girl to yank her out of the way of the Air, before it hits. She's too late, of course, and ends up looking silly. She kneels down at Espiria's side to help her up. As she extends her hand, she leans in to whisper in the Novice's ears. With all the people embracing Saidar in the room, it's possible many people over hear her saying, "Thank you..." Relief spreads over Wyntere but it's been a long day. She sniffles a little and then looks to Espiria. "There's no hay here. Please?" As if espi knows what she's asking. Wyntere glances to Kaomi and gives her a nod. And then in a respectful tone she asks, "Mother, may I be excused?" Kaomi gives her a nod (emitted upon permission). Wyntere will figure out this dang not of a shield and get it off soon. no worries, she has time to work at it. Keay stands mouth agape then, after the initial shock wears off, gives a very un-keeper-like "Whoo Hoo!" She flashes a smile to Wyntere and Espiria then turns to Cyli with a deadly gaze, "This day will go down in history. your anem will be cursed by future Sedai. You are the disgrace that gives the Sedai a taint on their name. May you get what you deserve." She then turns her back to the Yellow She offers hugs to both Wyntere and Espiria. Kyleigh actually runs over to Wyntere and throws her arms around the MoNster, tears streaming down her cheeks. She keeps her head lowered though so hopefully no one will see that she's crying. That would be weak. Get a grip on yourself Kyle! She sniffles and pulls back a little sheepishly, grins up at Wyntere and glances over to make sure Cyli is in plenty of pain. Johiah , knife in hand that Wyntere kept him from throwing at Cyli, so much for the jovial man he was a minuet ago, let's Wyntere take his hand and starts to head for the door, the less he has to look upon that creature, the better. Neelkan sees Espi get thrown and his eyes widen and fury wells up inside him. He doesn't resist anymore and pulls off the cloak and tosses it at Johiah, saying, "I believe this one is yours." Amazingly? His accent isn't very thick at the moment. He's so pissed he could speak good Old Tongue? well... Ye'h. He's that pissed. He offers a small smile at Wyn as she heads out as well. He has a... fan? in one hand, but he turns it so it's resting flat against the inside of his wrist and he glares at Cyli for a minute and then moves over to check on Espi, smiling over at Denn. "'ey. 're ya 'kay, Esp?" Raeth looks out amongst the group gathered before. Ever cold blue eyes seek out Wyn among all the hugging. There she is. A small grin forming across his face as he sees her safe and with her students 'her family'. From his place next to the Amylrin, Raeth glances up and gives her a small nod before the grinning face morphs back into the usual granite mask. He grounds the staff next to him and almost seens to lean on it. That was close. Too close. Espiria smiles weakly at Denn, nodding to her before she glances over to Neel, My..head hurts a bit, but I think I'll be fine. I..I think I hit it again the marble over there." She sighs softly, glancing over to Wynt again and nods. "I will take care of that for you Wyntere Sedai." She pulls Neel and Denn along till she is standing in front of her. Her hand goes out to Wynt, happiness shining in her face before she embraces and takes care of those sniffles. No..no sniffles tonight. Or any other night. "There...all better now. Get some rest. Okay?" Pulling her arms around Kyleigh, Wyntere looks a little out of it. She's tired and just wants to see somewhere other than prison. As Johiah tugs her, Wyntere holds up just a moment. "Hang on.. we have to thank them." Wyntere glances down at Kyleigh. "Looks like you have to put up with me some more. Maybe I'll still get to be the Mistress, maybe not. That's up to Mother. But if not, I'm still here to make sure you behave." Wyntere grinning through all that and doesn't let go of the students too quickly. There is one Wyntere is going to have to go find though. Wyntere looks up to Espi and nods. "I got rest last night. You go to bed." Then glancing to Denn and Neelkan, wyntere nods to them both. "Thank you, Neelkan." Though to Denn, the Gray isn't sure what to say though she still loves the woman. Denn'ryiel stands back as the embraces begin, and casts her eyes downwards towards the floor. No, she has no right to participate in any of that. She almost sent a good friend to her death, and her Gaidin as well. Making as little noise as possible, Denn'ryiel extracts herself from the throng gathering around Wyntere and begins to walk towards the door, head bowed. Everything seems back in order, and everything is as it should be. Blue gaze rises up and around the hall. He shakes his head thoughtfully. -Light will prevail, even in the darkest hours- With a small glance at his staff that almost seems to say 'let's go' Raeth walks out of the hall leaving the gathering of accepted, novices and trainees. "They did good." He mutters to himself. "Real good." And with that, he disappears through the Amyrlin's door another door. Vashta comes in.. "I just saw! You did it!" She screams at the top of her lungs.. "We did it!" Kyleigh actually blushes and grins back at the MoNster and sniffles the rest of her snifflies away. Nope, no crying going on here. She wasn't worried, not at all. She too steps back, able to breath a little easier. Oh.. the cloak. Ooops. She carefully slides if off and tosses it behind her onto a chair... as if no one was going to notice her taking it off now... Espiria glances over from where she stands and nods. She seems to be moving slowly though, her hand still on the good sized knot on the back of her head. Ouch that must hurt, but she glances to everyone and then sees Vash, "Yes. Vash..we really did it. /All/ of us did it." She smiles brightly, wincing just a bit as she moves toward the doorway. "Denn...Denn'ryiel Sedai? Don't go..." She places a gentle hand on her arm, "You did what you believed was best..for what you found. Noone can fault you in this and you shouldn't fault yourself either." She seems a bit sleepy as she stands there, "You did..what anyone would do in finding such things." Oh boy... life won't calm down for awhile. Wyntere sees Denn'ryiel leave and there's a worry look in the Gray's eyes. Then glancing to the students, Wyntere looks at them all. "Thank you all, but if you'll excuse me.. I do have some catching up to do and a few people I need to see. Plus, I think it's time we all cleared out the hall." Wyntere motions to the door, but not without a smile to Vashta. "Good work, all." Wyntere follows Espiria towards Denn and glances to the Accepted, "Mind if I handle this, Espiria?" Since this was one stop on her list of many. "Denn, mind if I walk you where you are going?" Vashta runs over to Espi, her arms wide open.. "We won!" Tears are streaming down her cheeks Chewing on his lip, Neelkan nods at all the offers of thanks, and actually sombers. And here he was looking all excited earlier. He notices Denn start to slip away, and that's what causes the somber expression. He listens to what Espi says, frowning lightly, then turns to the Novice, "Have 'at cloak returned t' the Laundry, 'r if one of the Gaidin 'ere claims it, return it t' 'im. I'll take the others down 'ere 'fore the night is o'er." With that handled he does a few quick steps, then stops as Wyn heads over. His eyes tighten a little. He's just going to return the cloaks and go to bed now... Denn'ryiel turns her head as Espiria addresses her, and her shoulders slump as Wyntere walks up. Time to pay the piper, she supposes. Obviously, she isn't as convinced as Espiria is; after all, a few stalwart Sedai like Keay did stick with Wyntere. "No, I would not mind Wyntere Sedai," she answers quietly, only looking up as much as she has to. That way the guilt lines don't show so much. Johiah turns to Wyntere, the lines of tension evident on his face. All that stress did get to him. "If you don't mind dear, I need to beat on something before I lose my mind." He asks his leave, and with her permission, exits the hall. Espiria tips a soft smile to Wynt before she bobs a curtsey, "Not at all, Wyntere Sedai...I think I should go lie down anyway." She smiles, glancing back over to Vash and giggles before she nods. "Yes..we did." She turns to head out of the Hall then, leaving the rejoicers happily cheering. Kyleigh would normally snap at anyone, especially a guy who tried to order her around, but she's too happy right now to even notice. "Hmmm? Oh!" Oh look a cloak! Where, did that come from? Well she'll just pick it up and... carry it down to the laundry. She of course had nothing to do with it's getting there. With a nother soft smile in Wyntere's direction she heads out as well.
