08/16/2000 Infirmary, White Tower, Tar Valon Square in shape, this room is most often abuzz with activity. It contains the normal implements of a teaching infirmary, in fact, it is extremely well stocked with all manner of things: cots, jars, bottles, syringes, bandages, cloths, cabinets, shelves, books and tables along with plenty of hot water. The air has that sterile smell associated with the constant use of redwort, tinged with the unpleasant prickle of witchhazel. While most of the Healing is done via the One Power at the Tower, there are many minor medical situations that are dealt with the old fashioned way. There are several areas curtained off, for patients' privacy as well as for instructional usages. This is a teaching infirmary for the Yellow Ajah, after all. Beds in cheerful colors are lined up in neat rows, providing a comfortable place to sleep after a Healer's tender ministrations. Windows are kept wide open to all for light and fresh air. "Of course you can come along, Espiria." Wyntere grins and placing a soft hand on your shoulder. "But please.. don't insult him. That's bad manners for business. You have to be polite and patient when dealing with people from different backgrounds. I'm not saying go side with him or that he isn't evil. Just that he could be worse." Much worse.. Sometimes those that follow the Light are worse than Tetrarch is. But the real question is.. what makes on of the Light and what makes one of the dark? Espiria lays partially and sits partially, leaning against the backboard of the bed as she nods, "I will do what I have to do to get those two back, Wyntere Sedai. Even be..polite to someone like him." She shivers and Wynt would be able to feel that under the hand that rests gently on Espi's shoulder. "Not that I will like it, but I /do/ have more control than to start yelling at him..even if ever fiber tells me to." She heaves a sigh, glancing back up to Wynt with a smile. "I will do it...because it's what is asked of me." Hearing a brief rumor of some kind of misgiving involving Espiria (And Redd, and Kaomi and others, but sadly he was more concerned about the girl, not that he isn't about the others), Neelkan had to wait until he got done with a lesson, and did a few laps and then went about trying to find her in the Dining Hall, and other places. Then finally finds out via a Sedai source, that she was in the Infirm. Ooooh. A couple heads are going to need to be busted. He can tell it already, and he hasn't even seen her injuries yet. He comes in the door, being stopped by an Accepted who he grumbles at and explains that his hand is itching again. It's not, but it's an excuse. He heads inside to find his friend. Squeezing that Shoulder of Espiria's, Wyntere chuckles a little. "Now what if I yelled everytime I felt like it? You think I'd make a good Mistress still? There are many students that can bring my blood boiling. But yelling doesn't solve anything." Though if Tet doesn't have those two. You may see the Gray yell at him tonight. "Learn to control your emotions, Espiria. And then when you're an Aes Sedai, I'll help you get them back." She sighs, "Well, maybe he'll give you a chance to speak your mind. He seems to have some patience with things like that. All I know, the circle is nuetral grounds and he can't hurt you there." Espiria shivers, glancing down toward the floor for a moment. She nods quietly, hand straying to the bandage on her forehead as though it bothered her. "I..am who I am, Wyntere Sedai. I am the sum and total of all I feel..all I do..and all I care about." Odd statement from her, but then she's been thru quite a bit lately. "I'll hold my tounge. But to be sure I won't be holding it if he /ever/ hurts anyone that I care for." She looks up to Wynt's face, "He shielded me, Wyntere Sedai...cut me off when I was trying to protect myself. When I first learned that I could channel. I will /never/ forgive that. You certainly wouldn't have treated me that way and you certainly wouldn't have scared me as badly as he did that day." She sighs, shaking her head and getting a grip on herself, "But as i said..I will hold my tounge. I will not say anything bad to him..or those with him. I promise you that. And I will watch and learn..as I am supposed to do." Hmmm. It's a good thing Neelkan doesn't get close enough to hear what she's saying until the end of Espiria's words, or else they might have one trainee who's more emotion than anything else in a seriously bad mood. Instead he only catches the end and heads over, grinning at his friend despite the bandage on her head, "'ey Espi." He glances over her, and there is concern in his eyes, but he pushes it back for now. She probably has concerned people fawning all over her already. He throws another grin at the present Aes Sedai, "'n Wyn. Nice t' see ya, though I must say I'd rather be seein' ya somewhere else." It's said as a jest, but it's serious. This guy's spent enough time in this place for seven lifetimes. Or at least he thinks so. Wyntere sighs. "Espiria, I have been shielded by many. That time I was taken for weeks.. I was sheilded that whole time. Sheilding doesn't hurt you. Did he hurt you after he shielded you in any way? If so, no, you shouldn't forgive him." Wyntere sighs. This is pointless. "Just be there as company, Espiria. And learn to control your emotions. Or rather.. just learn to stay calm when you channel." If not.. you'll fail your Aes Sedai test. But Wyntere can't tell you that. "And remember we go in peace tonight. That's the main thing. If we were going to war, it'd be different. I know you can make me proud. I do not doubt that or I would not have asked you to go. Espiria nods to Wynt, offering a comforting smile. "As I said..I will not dissappoint you. You can be sure of that." She chuckles, dropping her other mood in favor of the one that she always wears when Wynt is feeling down about something..or anyone for that matter. She's always the one to pick up spirits even though her own are hardly up at the time. She blinks, smiling over to Neel as she hears him speaking, "Neel? Oh..it's so kind of you to drop by and see me." She chuckles, darting her eyes over to the Yellows prowling the room. "You..could have waited till i was out, Neel if...being here bothers you." She winks at him, glancing toward the Yellows who seem to look at Neel every so often with that 'Oh no..not him again' look. "I know this place has been..umm..difficult in the past." She giggles, shaking her head. Difficult is an understatement. Neelkan nods slightly at Espi, realizing he's probably gone and interupted something important due to the tone at which Wyn was speaking. He doesn't know what's going on, or what they're talking about, so he's just going to try to learn along the way. "Nawh, I had t' make sure ya were a'right. It's not 'at bad. I'm just glad I won't have t' stay 'ere more 'en a lil' while." He grins and flashes teeth, the glances around to look at the Yellows who are glancing at him. You know... He's glad Denn'ryiel choose the White Ajah. Guess he hasn't a chance of talking Espi into picking a different one? Heh. I'm trying to get her to go Gray, Neel. Wyntere smiles as she sees Neelkan walk up. "Hello, Neel." All thoughts of before going away, but one. "How are you?" Espiria chuckles softly, glancing at the Yellows who are wandering around. She thinks it's very amusing the way they act when Neel shows up. "That was very kind of you to do, Neel. I'm fine though..." Her hand goes to the small bandage. "Just a bump on the head really. And they said I can leave soon since it's nearly healed as it is." She shrugs a shoulder, glancing over to Wynt. "Seems I'm going on another little trip too. Work never ends.." She chuckles, making light of the trip later on. "But..it will certainly be a learning experience which is the important thing." Wyntere grins. "Yes, I think Espiria will be fine. I hope to take along a few more students, too." Wyntere glances to Neelkan and nods. "Don't worry about the Yellows. They are upset with me too right now." "Another trip?" Neelkan's eyebrows raise slightly and his grin falters for a moment. No. No. Don't demand that she stay. That's bad. Bad Neel. He takes a breath and turns towards Wyn for the time being, "I'm just fine m'self. Got a couple small lumps from a lesson earlier, but 'at's all." He was pretty much shocked that he actually got hit. He's usually rather good at dodging things. He then looks back at Espi and asks, "Guess yer not 'llowed a lil' friendly company of the Trainee variety?" He glances towards Wyn and has that 'please, please' look writen all over him. One she probably knows well. Espiria glances at Wynt, smiling. "Ah...that's great." She likes the idea of others going with her to watch this. She glances at Neel though, blinking for a moment. Her eyes look him over for a moment 'Can anyone say Future Yellow?' before she grins and tips her head to one side. He wants to go? Well it would be nice to have him with her, but she's not all that sure he could hold his temper after what he's been thru. "What kinda company of the little friendly Trainee variety?" Wyntere has to ask. "I never said friends weren't allowed to visit a sick Accepted. Or were you wishing to go with us on this trip. It's a negotiating trip of a Gray. Very boring; unless you like this sort of thing." (and very late at night IRL) She smiles. "I think I'll be bringing back oour two captive Aes Sedai if all go well." Neelkan's eyes widen a little. Two captured Aes Sedai? As in Verbena?! Oh, he is so going. "I don't mind borin' stuff. 'n I'll stay real quiet. Won't e'en know I'm 'ere." He makes a motion to close his mouth shut into a thin line, showing that he will indeed be quiet. Though if he will manage to do so is another story. He will try though. And he needs to learn how to hold his tongue if he's ever going to make it to a Gaidin anyway... Espiria chuckles softly, watching Neel do his best to actually get to go with them. Won't know he's there? Well..Neel might not make a sound. But will his eyes be boring holes into the side of Tet's head? She smiles a bit at the thought, looking down so she doesn't ruin his chance to at least try not fly off the handle. One thing is for sure..this has to go well, or the two trying to be freed are probably toast in more ways than one. She smiles at Neel, offering a softly voiced. "I'll help you, Neel..if you look to get too ansty.." She giggles, glancing over to Wynt for the final determination. "Well, if you thing you can handle seeing Tetrarch again. And if you'll keep your mouth shut and obey me like you should. I don't see why not. This should be an easy exchange. The papers are all ready and we should just get the Aes Sedai and go. If not, there are the consulate offices I can send you both to to wait has he and I work through things." Sure.. why not. Wyntere leans back and relaxes. "But you have to be on your best behavior. The man should be treated like you would treat the Mother. I take that back.. better than you treat Mother. He is a visiting Monarch and deserves respect as such." There's a pause, then Neelkan nods. "Best behavior. Understood." Though the whole... seeing Tetrarch thing. Eeeeeeiiii. He'll do his very best though. Espiria sighs softly, feeling a bit better about going now that she has a friend along. Not that Wynt isn't a friend, but still..Neel is alot closer to her in age and understand what she feels. She smiles at Wynt, nodding gently. "I'm going to rest up a bit so they will let me go soon. I'd hate to show up still waering this bandage thing on my head." She giggles, "We can chat though Neel...if you'd like to stay for a bit longer. Is that alright, Wyntere Sedai?" She glances over to her with a sweet smile. "I promise though..that i will get all the rest I need before tonight." Wyntere smiles to both of them. "I'll see you later then." She stands up to leave. "Take care."
