05/09/2000 Guest Wing, White Tower, Tar Valon Doors line this hallway in such a way as to give the impression that not all rooms here are created equal, unlike the Novice or Accepted wing. The ones closest are clearly for more important visitors, perhaps those Kings and Queens that come when the Amyrlin crooks her finger, and while none are ratty or unpleasant to stay in they get progressively smaller. The mason work here is as beautiful, and seemless as in the rest and more than one guest has been found staring at one of the walls and trying to figure out just how they did that. Few of the rooms look occupied at the moment and only a slightly larger number look like they've gotten any use this decade, though the Novices do keep them all as clean as the rest of the Tower. Moving down into the Guest Wing, Neelkan asked around where the kid was staying. He had to describe the kid, since he didn't remember his name, and finally gets directions to his room. Once all that is done he finds the room and knocks on the door. Knockknock. Standing quickly the door opens on Aed, standing there in the same clothes he had on yesterday. "Hey, kid!" Neelkan stands there, also wearing the same clothes as yesterday, but he is carrying a bundle under one arm, obviously the one he didn't knock with. "How ya doin'?" Baby blue eyes look at Neelkan as Aed stands there and in a small voice says,"Ok." He seems decidedly uncomfortable/ "Here." The bundle is thrown towards the kid after a second, and Neelkan offers a lop-sided smirk, "Figured the Aes Sedai wouldn't get around t' givin' ya any clothes f'r a few days so I talked t' some 'at I know in the Infirmary 'n got some. Hope 'ey fit." Is he being... nice...? The bundle is actually caught,"Uhh...Thanks..." Aed looks at the bundle for a second,"Gaidin Kalibar was going to take me shopping soon for new clothes." "Yer welcome. It took 'em a few days t' round up some clothes f'r me. I was stuck wearing a stupid -dress- f'r waaaaay too long." Neelkan continues to smirk, then gives his head a small shake, "Well, it was more like a robe 'r something, but it sure felt like a dress!" Carefully the bundle is placed on the bed before Aed turns to face Neelkan,"WHy?" Is all he says. He doesn't seem to spend much time talking. Neelkan shrugs slightly, "Why not?" Don't go questioning his good deeds. He may never do them again! A slight shrugs is given before Aed responses,"Cause you didn't seem to like me." His voice is rather sad as he speaks. "Huh?" Neelkan looks confused. But then he often can if you spend any time around him. "Don't take anythin' I say personally, kid! I got nothin' against ya. Really." Aed ohs and sits down on his bed again and begins swinging his feet below the bed looking down at the ground. "Uh..." Neelkan frowns for a moment and furrows his brow. "Did I do somethin' wrong?" He's trying to make nice with people around here... Sigh. He kicks his foot at the doorway. "Ummmm....No. " Aed's voice is soft,"Please come in." He just sits there though. "'Kay..." Neelkan steps inside and closes the door behind it then leans heavily against it, "So... 'r ya findin' everythin' like ya hoped ya would?" "I'd hoped to deliver my message. That's it." Aed's voice is soft and he fiddles with a small coin. "So are ya gonna stick 'round 'en, 'r are ya headin' back t' whereever ya came from 'xactly?" Neelkan inquires curiously, trying to sounds half interested in the answer to the questions. He's not really. But he's trying. Does that count for anything? "Don't know yet. My sisters are here." Aed seems rather distracted. Neelkan blinks, "Yer... sisters are 'ere...?" A slight nod is given,"That's what Wyntere Sedai said." Aed's voice is soft.
