05/05/2000 The Shadow's Demise Tavern, The Plaza, Tar Valon A sleek wooden bar stretches across the back of the room, with giant kegs full of all manner of drink here. The proprieter of the Shadow's Demise does his own distilling, as such, there is never a shortage of ale to be found here. Slightly greasy smelling potatos and sausage dishes find their way out of the kitchens by way of plump serving maids and onto the tables of the patrons, most of whom look tired and worried. Dripping white candles sit within old green wine bottles, casting a soft lambent light about the area. A dais is here, where a performer of some variety usually sits, keeping the patronage entertained. Songs of battle and war are generally discouraged unless there has been a recent victory, and so slow, romantic ballads float around the room. Perhaps this is why The Shadow's Demise tends to have an equal number of male and female patrons. Circular tables, generally kept clean, are arranged about the room in such a way that people can easily hold conversations with one another and keep them private. Quite a few people remain in the tavern, although the rush of an hour or so ago has now passed as folk have finished up their food and made their way home. Evidence of this can be seen in the dirty plates which still have to be cleared away from several of the tables, a task that the Eharon barkeep is just about to see to. Stepping around the bar, she heads to the closest table, quickly piling up the used crockery, balancing the cutlery and a couple of glasses on top. Aaaaaaaah! Bliss! A Tavern! Neelkan had almost forgot what one looked like after spending all that time in the Tower Infirmary. Finally one of the Yellows deamed him strong enough to go out on the city as long as he didn't stay out too long and returned at the first sign of weakness or tiredness. He sword as many oaths as possible to get let out. Ah! Upon entering the Tavern he looks around, his bright blue-green eyes wide and the smile on his face touching them. He reaches up and scritches at his white-streaked red hair, then moves further in and decides to settle down on an empty (and clean) circular table, humming despite himself at the romantic ballad playing in the air. Quickly transporting the dishes through to the kitchen, Juzriel returns to the common room and casts a quick assessing eye over the people who remain. All appears to be well, everyone with a drink, apart from the newcomer, a man she's not seen before. Nope, she's certainly remember him if she had. Making her way once more around the bar, she heads over to the table where he sits. "Can I get you anything?" she asks pleasantly, dark eyes fixing on his as she awaits his request. Hmm? He glances up at the woman as she approaches, and only for a brief moment do his eyes narrow. That's just his normal reaction to women! Especially evident Eharon women... Then Neelkan gives his head a good shaking and offers a much smaller lop-sided smile then the one he entered with, but a smirk none-the-less. He can tolerate a woman as long as she's bringing him something to drink. He's sick and tired of the stuff they serce at the Tower! "'course ya can get m' somethin'! Ale!" he calls out in his almost -too- loud for normal conversation voice. And his accent is entirely butchering the proper way of speaking. And that isn't just because he was raised in another land either. Fortunately, Juzriel is quite used to serving all manner of customers, from the loudmouthed drunk to the naturally obnoxious. Where exactly this man fits onto the scale remains to be seen, but he is a paying customer, so she treats him pleasantly, despite the way his eyes narrowed when he looked at her. "Ale, of course," she replies. "It'll be right with you." Back to the bar once more, where she snatches up a clean mug and makes her way to the ale kegs, flicking the tap and letting the liquid foam forth. Who said anything about paying? CoughCough. Kidding. Neelkan has some coins. He actually conned them off a Yellow because he complained that he only had one set of clothes, and he needed more. -His- clothes were ruined, and the ones the Tower pawned off on him barely fit! (Or that was -his- arguement.) He'll drop by some place that sells clothes cheap and buy a few after this, so he won't get yelled at for spending all the coin on ale. He also had some in his pouch when he got... injured and they gave that back. "Thanks!" He yells out to the woman, his smirk widening a little. Ale. So much better then water, or cider. Or even... *choak* milk... He watches the woman as she goes to get his ale, waiting patiently. He -can- be patient... sometimes. (A'right, very rarely, but this is one of those times.) Juzriel doesn't keep him waiting for long, knowing how impatient some men can become in such a short space of time. As soon as the mug is filled, she heads back over to the table where he sits, placing it down before him. "That's two copper," she informs him chirpily, holding her hand out expectantly. "The cook is still in the kitchen if you'd like to eat too. She's a wonderful Saferan chicken dish on the menu today should you like to try it." Well, she wouldn't be doing her job properly if she didn't try to up the profits, now would she. And Dairen is always telling her that the profit is in the food, not the ale. A smile curves her lips as she hovers by the table, waiting. "In fact, should you care to eat, I won't charge for the ale." Hmm, she's fairly sure Dairen wouldn't object to that.. and if he did, well, she'd just have to talk him around. Grumble. No, he isn't grumbling. But his stomach is. At the meer -mention- of food it suddenly feels like he hasn't eaten in a day (even if it had only been a few hours). Neelkan frowns slightly in thought for a moment. The Aes Sedai -did- say he'd have to eat a lot, and since it started he's been scarfing down meals made for three. "Saferan chicken, eh? Well, why not! I'll have some!" Pause. "Could ya make it a double 'r whate'er, thou? How much would 'at be?" He could eat two meals right now. Maybe even three... He really hopes this hunger streak goes away soon... Oh... and the ale! While waiting for his answer he takes a good sized drink on it. Aw! Bliss! Nice foamy goodness! How you were missed! The smile on Juzriel's lips increases at the man's response to her offer, a quick little nod indicating that there's no problem with a double helping. "Well, that'll be a silver piece, but of course, I'll throw in another glass of ale with that, free of charge," she informs him cheerily. Watching the seeming relish with which he downs that ale, she thinks perhaps there's a fair bit moe profit to be had from this man yet. "The food should only be a few minutes. I'll just go and inform the cook now." That said, she leaves the man to his ale and returns to the kitchen, leaving him little chance to change his mind. Ahhhh! Bliss! Ok. One silver piece? Neelkan pauses in his moment of savouring the ale and picks a silver piece out of his a little money pouch secured in the folds of the deep red sash around his waist. The coin is held on to until the woman comes back though, and he continues to drink on his ale. This is just so much better then rotting in the Tower Infirmary! At least he can -move-. And breathe! And isn't surrounded by women! He starts to hum along with the music once again softly. Reappearing from the kitchen, Juzriel pauses behind the bar, picking out another mug, this one a touch smaller than the other. She heads to a specific keg, filling the mug to the brim, before carefully carrying it over to the man. "The food won't be long. But I thought I'd bring your other mug of ale across while you're waiting, just in case you're thirsty." SHe puts it down before him, eying the coin in his hand. "I thought I'd treat you to a special ale this time.. its the landlord's new brew. 'Apple Delight'.. flavoured with just a hint of apple and cherry. I hope you like it." Again the bright smile, as she finishes speaking. She is in a cheerful mood today Da-la-da-ta-ta-ta--eh? Oh. Sorry. Neelkan was distracted by the song for a minute. He thinks he actually knows this one.. Hrm. He smiles up at the woman as she announces that not only the food will be out soonish, but he gets an extra cup of ale! He's going to have to remember this place just in case he can't work up the nerve to actually cross the rivers... "I'm sure I'll prolly like it! Not too picky!" Can't be too picky when you're a bandit and all. He takes up the original cup and contiues to work on it, wanting to finish it before he starts on the next one, and that's when he remembers the coin in his hand. Oh yeah. "Um, 'ere!" He holds out the silver to her. For once he actually wants to pay up front. Maybe because he's just happy to be out of the Tower for a change. Seems like he's been there for -years-. (Even if more accurately only a couple weeks.) A dark eyebrow arches slightly as Juzriel watches the man. Well, its good that he's enjoying the music, less likely to notice the coin draining away. She takes the silver off him with a polite 'thanks', before she takes it back to the bar and drops it in the money box. Snatching up a cloth, she makes her way to the table she cleared of dishes a few minutes previously, quickly wiping over the top. She's nothing if not diligent about her job. If something's to be done, then it should be done well. She keeps half an eye on the man, waiting for him to try out his second glass of ale, knowing that its been well liked by those who've tried it so far. With the spicy Saferan dish that's to come, she's hoping that he might be ordering several more mugs of the stuff. Once the foamy goodness of the first glass of ale is completely finished, Neelkan leans back in his chair for a brief moment and pauses, running the song over and over in his head a few times, trying to think of where he's heard it. Oh well! It's just not coming. He's probably going to be humming the tune for weeks now trying to remember, if not singing it. Sigh! He sits back up again and tests out the special stuff. Hmmmmm. Apple Delight, huh? Well delightful it surely is! And the apple part he can understand too. Hmmm. Do his eyes actually seem to go wide and starry for a moment? That's just his normal reaction to some good ale. Honest. Yup. This guy's a easy mark or two. (Or three, or four, or five....) That's all to the good in Juzriel's eyes, specially seeing as how she didn't inform him the Apple Delight is four coppers rather than the two that most of the ale costs. Well, he didn't ask did he? Her smile increases as she notes his apparant liking of the ale, as well as the music. Yep, this sort of customer she could do with more often.. though she's not so foolish as to ignore the fact he probably has a bad side hidden somewhere. Most do.. and plenty display it after a few drinks. His worst side is the fact that when drunk he tends to make a complete and utter fool out of himself... but hey... Neelkan continues to drink lightly on the special ale, waiting for his food and trying to remember that bloody song! Grump. He -knows- he knows that song. But from -where- is the question. They probably just played it at some Tavern he visited to once upon a time, but... Bwah. He can't remember. Oh well! Enough worries about that. More ale! (So much for getting clothes this trip, huh...?) A careful eye is kept on that mug, as Juzriel doesn't want to waste anytime in offering the chap a refill. Most of the other patrons are nursing the same drink they've had for the last hour, so she can't really be blamed for trying to encourage a little more trade. A couple more table tops are cleaned, as she works her way towards the table where he sits. GulpGulpGulp. Another glass or two (though probably just one) and Neelkan might start singing along with the music in this tavern... He's about a third of the way done with the glass when he puts it down for a moment and rakes his fingers through the dark red hair with yellow highlights and white streaks throughout (isn't he a little young for white in his hair...?). He's starting to feel the side effects of the ale already. Aaaah. Now... where's the food? His stomach feels like it's huge and empty and he has to feel it with something besides ale. (Especially because if he keeps drinking on a near empty stomach he's probably not going to make it out of the place at all.) The doors to the kitchen open to admit the cook, who carries a steaming covered plate to the bar. Though looking a little harried, he simply looks around for a moment before spotting Juzriel. He raises a hand to try calling her over. Well, he wouldn't be the first to have needed carrying out of here. Strange hair indeed, but Juzriel isn't going to risk upsetting him by asking about it. She picks up another stack of dirty dishes, cloth still clutched in her hand as she makes her way back across to the bar. Noting Seon there, she smiles brightly, depositing the dishes before him. "The chicken?" she asks, although having made no other request, there's little else its likely to be. Seon tries to keep his voice low, and in the noise of the common room, wouldn't be easily overheard. "Yes. Er... for some reason, I'm not good at cooking Saferan. It may... uh... be a little /too/ spicy." There seems to be displeasure in his face as he seems to be trying to imagine what this dish might taste like. Neelkan hums along with that bloody song again for a few moments, then retakes up his drink and downs it again. But there still seems to be some left anyway. Ah. Bliss. He missed this rather nice sensation when he was locked away by those flaming Yellow Ajah women. Grrrr. Anyway, he has a clue that his food is here and perks up a little, reaching up to rub at his hair again (which makes it even more fluffy then it already -was-, falling every which way) and just waits. Fooooood! He doesn't hear what they're saying though. Nope. Not over the noise of the common room. Juzriel chuckles softly in response to Seon's words. "I'm sure it'll be just fine. That is the point of Saferan food after all," she reassures him. The spicier the better, if it means he's going to drink more. "Hmm, you are going to offer him susra to eat that with aren't you?" she asks, knowing how difficult they are to handle. Yes, that'll make the meal stretch out.. more time, more ale, more profits. Dairen is going to be pleased. "Why don't you take it across to him. I thnk I might pour him another glass of ale, just to be on the safe side," she instructs him, shooting him a little wink as she makes her way around the bar. Juzriel's instructions cause a moment of hesitation in Seon. After all he's the /cook/, not a tavern girl. But the hesitation's only for a moment. "Sure," he tells Juzriel, as he takes the plate and heads to Neelkan's table with a simple smile. "Er... Saferan chicken?" he asks, as he places it on the table before him. For a bandit, he sure is easily tricked, ain't he! No wonder even though he was the Leader's favorite he was never allowed to go out on the town by himself before. Always had one of the others with him. Of course he just thought that was because he was the youngest. Never imagined it was because he was gullible and a horrid liar. Neelkan finishes off the second glass of ale and sets it aside, just in time for his food to be brought over, "'at's m'! 'anks!" he yells out in his rather butchered way of speaking. Behind the bar Juzriel grabs another mug and returns to the ale keg, pouring out another mug of the ale the fellow liked so much. Straightening back up, she moves slowly to the bar, not about to go over to him yet, but if that chicken is as spicy as Seon seems to think it is, it shouldn't be too long before she hears the request for a drink. "Enjoy!" is all the cook manages to say. He looks quite happy to be done with his task, and with a nod to Juzriel, he heads back to the kitchen. Uh... what's this stuff anyway? Neelkan frowns at the little stick things. Weird. Slowly he picks them up and tries desperately to pick up a piece of chicken with them. It takes about a minute or two though. Finally he gets one secured and up to his mouth... and his eyes go wider and wider. Oh Light!! That's spicy... Um... lady!? He looks towards the woman and nods his head a little while trying to get the piece of chicken down as quickly as possible. More ale please!! He can't say it outloud though. Oh, no need for him to voice the request. The look on his face is enough for Juzriel to take her cue. Stepping around the bar with the mug of ale, her expression remains one schooled to pleasant friendliness. "More ale?" she asks him, holding it out before him. "I thought you might. That Apple Delight is very good." Not that she'd know, seeing as she doesn't drink the stuff herself. As she inhales the aroma of the food, the spices cause her eyes to water slightly, and she blinks rapidly to clear them. If that's what merely smelling the stuff does, its a wonder steam isn't bellowing from his ears. As soon as the ale is laid down, Neelkan gulps down a lot more then he should. He really has to wash down this spicy stuff... Once he has that first bite washed down and out of his mouth he actually remembers something and asks, "It's good ye'h! 'anks! But, uh... could ya get m' some bread t' go with 'is?" He may not be a chef or anything, but he was -forced- to cook for his sisters a lot more then he would like and knows that bread helps soak up spicy stuff. (Well, that and rice, but he'll take bread). "Of course," Juzriel replies brightly. "Bread isn't a problem. I'll be right back." She half turns away, then pauses, looking back at him, as though a thought just occured to her. "Would you like me to fetch you another mug of ale while I'm passing?" Isn't she just so thoughtful? A glance flickers down to the mug before returning to him to await his reply. "Hmm?" Neelkan glances up at the mention of yet another glass of ale. He glances down at his food, then nods, "Ye'h. Sure!" Then he starts to eat again. Damn he's so hungry! And these stupid sticks are making it hard to get much food up and in his mouth. Whine. He resorts to sticking the end of the stick into the chicken strips and eating them that way. How do the Saferans eat with these things!? Grump. An amused little grin surfaces on Juzriel's face once she safely has her back turned as she heads back to the kitchen. She knows well the difficulties of eating with those sticks, having only recently tried to do so herself. She will offer the man a fork.. in a little while. But first the bread, and that ale. A quick visit to the kitchen sees her return with a couple of crusty slices on a little plate, which she puts down on the bar whilst she fills yet another mug with the Apple Delight. Hmm, she'll have to keep a count of all these mugs, so she can inform him of the cost once he's finished his food. After all, she wouldn't want to spoil the enjoyment of his meal by demanding coin from him in the middle of it. Back to the table she goes, bread in one hand, ale in the other. Neelkan keeps with his method of eating. Stabbing the chicken with the little annoying stick and trying to get it up to his mouth. He's so hungry! He actually feels like he's starving... Bloody Healing side-effects! He does manage to get at least three more strips in his mouth (and nearly finishes the glass of ale too) by the time she gets back with the bread and the ale. Oh, perfect! He offers a genuine smile for a change, his eyes not showing any of his usual dislike towards women. He's starting to get effected by the ale obviously. But he doesn't seem like he's going to move towards the angry drunk side of things at least. Or even the grubby drunk either. He's probably going to be a rather nice drunk. Juzriel returns that smile with a bright one of her own, as she places the bread and ale down before him. She casts a quick glance to his still full plate, an eyebrow arcing slightly. "Would you prefer a fork to eat with?" she offers him. "I know how tricky those things can be. And we aren't actually in Safer, now are we?" Dark eyes fix on his, her head tilting to one side as she regards him slightly curiously. "I wouldn't want you to go hungry now, for want of a proper eating utensil." He couldn't nod faster if he tried. His hair flops up and down, but somehow still manages to stay all spikey and poofy. "Please! A fork would b' a bloody life saver!" Neelkan feels like he's going to starve eating with these itty bitty sticks and the stabbing method. While inventive, it just doesn't work at -all-. Oi. Pause. He reaches up and touches his forehead a little. Maybe he shouldn't nod so fast... He feels light-headed suddenly. Oh well! Back to the ale. He'll hold the food until he gets something he can actually use! (You must need to have a skill to use those flaming sticks!) Her steps to the bar aren't too hurried, especially as she sees him turn to the ale once more in the interim. Still, it is only moments before she returns with the fork, smiling cheerfully as she offers it out to him. "There. I'm sure that'll make things a lot easier. If there's anything else I can do for you, just be sure to call," she remarks lightly. "Enjoy your meal." She waits for a moment after that little pleasantry, perhaps to give him opportunity to call to mind any further requirement he might have. Ah! Fork! This is where something very funny can be viewed. Neelkan uses the fork and literally swallows half the meal in a few moments. Flaming Healing side-effects. He has to drink and eat bread every other bite due to the extra spicyness of the meal. After half of it is gone he pauses for a little while to wash down all the spice. The door opens to the Inn and a smallish, rather brilliantly dressed woman enters. She moves slowly, albeit gracefully, over towards the bar. That slender eyebrow arches upwards once more, as Juzriel watches the man eat. She's seen some appetites in the past, but he surely has to hve one of the best she's come across this far. Perhaps giving him the fork was a mistake, for at this rate, his meal is going to be over in a matter of seconds. A little shrug of her shoulders as she begins to make her way back to the bar. With any luck he'll stay for a few more mugs of that ale. As she settles in to her usual spot and begins to sort out the dirty glasses, her eyes shift to the door, gaze following the woman who enters. "Good day," she greets, as she nears the bar. Tiau inclines her head towards the woman and rests her staff against her seat. She smiles towards the woman and nods her head, "Hello." While washing down the spice with his glass of ale, Neelkan's bright blue-green eyes follow the bartender's eyes as she glances towards the door and blinks once at who comes through. Or more accurately at the -clothes- of the person who comes through. Hrm. He follows her as she moves over to the bar, then gives his head a small shake and goes back to eating, slower this time. Now that he at least has something in his stomach he doesn't have to swallow the whole plate anymore. "Can I get you something?" Juzriel asks the woman, her clothes seeming to receive no more than a cursory glance. She drops a stack of dirty glasses into the sink, but makes no move to clean them up yet. With any luck, Dairen will be around before long and he can see to them. Tiau nods.. "A simple glass of wine please." She pushes her hair away from her face and notes the others in the room, before turning her gaze back to the woman before her. Pause. Oi. Um. Maybe Neelkan shouldn't have tried to push himself just yet... He suddenly finds himself rather tired. Not only that he's rather fuzzy in the brain thanks to all this ale he's gotten down. He takes a deep breath and just tries to finish the meal, and the glass. And maybe he can stay for one more... Sirralene steps into the tavern and looks around. Quite busy it seems..and her table is busy too. Then eyes wander looking for someplace new to sit. "Red or white?" Juzriel asks the woman, as she pulls out a clean glass and steps across to the rack of wines. "We have plenty varieties of both." Ah, another customer, yes the place is beginning to fill up again. Best Dairen arrives for his shift soon. Tiau is sitting at the bar, but off to herself. "Just red." She says, her voice lyrical..and not containing any of the Safer accent.. strange. That plate that was full of a double serving of Saferian spicy chicken is completely empty now. Neelkan lays the fork down next to those little annoying sticks that didn't work out when he tried to use them. With that finished he reaches up and rakes his fingers through his white-streaked hair again, trying to overcome this sudden tiredness that's rushing over him. He's too fuzzy in the head (thanks to ale) right now to deal with the excess tiredness of post-Healing. Juzriel gives a quick little nod, as she looks across to the woman at the bar, her hand swiftly locating an appropriate bottle and pulling it out. Straightening back up, she makes her way to the bar again and fills the glass up. "That's three copper," she informs her, as she slides the glass across the bar to her. Her eyes do flicker across to Neelkan briefly, to see how he is doing with his meal, a little nod when she sees it all gone. At least he obviously liked it, spicey or not. Sirralene makes her way towards the bar and smiles at Juzriel. she's been in her enough times. But she politely waits for the woman to finish before ordering her own drink and food. Neelkan is sitting at a circular table, with his fingers raking through his hair, trying to clear up his head and -not- fall out of the chair he's sitting in. There's a empty plate in front of him and at least a few glasses of empty ale. Tsktsk. Released for a few hours from the Infirmary and he comes to a Tavern... The coins are accepted from the Tiau with a quick 'thank you' and dropped immediately into the secure box behind the bar. Juzriel's attention then moves across to the other woman who has approached the bar, greeting her with a cheery smile. "Good day, Sedai. And what might I be able to get for you today?" she asks pleasantly. The Safer woman takes a sip of the wine and the pulls her harp off of her hip and begins to play it lightly, a slow melodic tune. Sirralene smiles "I think I'll have some of that chicken and some white wine..that sweet kind." she intones warmly. Not yet having spotted Yannick. But her gaze does take in the Safer woman when she starts to play that harp. Slowly the door opens, revealing the figure of a young man entering, slowly running his eyes over the room. Stopping on Sirralene, he blushes slightly, but probably nobody would notice from afar. He steps inside, letting the door close behind him. "Of course, if you'll just give me a moment, I'll let the cooks know that there's another order of the chicken required," Juzriel replies. "It shouldn't take more than a few minutes." She heads to the swinging doors, and pops her head through, calling the order out to the two cooks. Tiau takes another sip of her wine as she continues to play the harp.. She begins to humm to it as well His hands finally get fished out of that strange hair of his. Reaching into his sash again, Neelkan fishes out a small handfull of coins to give over to the bartender woman once she returns so he can hand over what he owes and try to leave, and hopefully make it back to where he needs to be before he passes out or something. Oi. Maybe this Tavern thing wasn't a smart idea after all. (But then when did -he- ever be thought of as smart?) Sirralene nods "Of course.." she says quietly. Listening to the harp music before musing aloud "Your good with that." Stepping back from the kitchen, Juzriel makes her way over to the wine rack again, quickly locating the wine which she knows she's served to this Sedai before. Taking it back over to the baaaar with her, she pours out a glass quickly, and pushes it across to her. "Yes, very good. I don't suppose you're looking to do a spot of entertaining?" she asks of Tiau. Tiau looks over and smiles. "I can.." She stands up and bows to everyone before she starts to dance with the music... soon she begins to sing.. about the peacefulness of the forest.. and the tranquilty of love.. Yannick walks on to Sirra's table, dropping into a chair without a word. Sirralene is actually at the bar..but then he'd know that. She turns her gaze to the person as her fingers curve about the glass "Yannick.." she smiles then..one of those secretive types. Yannick smiles back, clearing his throat "Hello Sirralene. I didn't want to disturb since you were listening to the music." He shoots a glance at Tiau. There's a woman singing... Neelkan glances up and peers at the woman for a while. He's tempted to open his mouth, but instead he stops himself and just hums along to the song for a moment. He lays down the coins on the table (a few more then he likely needs to) and waits for the woman to come over and take them so he can attempt to leave. If he makes it to the door... Sirralene smiles "Your never a bother dear.." and leans back in her chair "Good isn't she?" Juzriel smiles brightly to Tiau, gesturing to the little dias that's reserved for the performers. "Please feel free," she offers. Seeing Neelkan sitting with his empty plate, she moves around the bar and heads to his table. "That's eight copper," she informs him, as she notes the coin on the table, picking up the relevant amount. She is an honest barkeep. "Though perhaps you'd like another glass of ale to enjoy along with the music?" Tiau continues to dance around slowly, her clothing sweeping with the music she plays.. her voice is rich and melodious, and her abilit with the harp is very good.. She seems enraptured by the song. Yannick nods his head to Sirralene, and looks back to the Tinker, his eyes unfocusing for a moment, thoughts wandering...pleasant thoughts judging by his smile. "Um..." Neelkan should say no. He really, really should. But instead he gives a small nod and leaves four extra copper on the table after slipping the rest in his sash again. He glances back over at the woman singing and continues to hum softly under his breath. Thanks, lady. He's gonna have this song in his head for weeks now. Along with the one that got stuck in there earlier. In fact, now they're starting to melt together into one song. Oi. Maybe he shouldn't have nodded to that next glass... Sirralene watches Yannick a moment and then leans close to whisper. Yannick chuckles behind his hand and whispers back to Sirralene. Sirralene grins at the man "Both.." she says simply. Juzriel smiles as she takes the extra coin, picking up the empty plate, susra and fork, before she heads back to the bar. The plate is quickly taken through to the kitchen, before she comes out and grabs up another clean mug to fill with the special brew. As she does, her gaze takes in the warder now sat at the bar too, another one to attend to when she's finished with Neelkan. Hmm, she's definately going to have to ensure another barmaid is employed soon. Yannick manages not to laugh too loud and nods his head "For you..anything." Tiau continues to sing and dance, lightly moving over towards Neelkan and then back towards Yannick and Sirralene.. Sirralene mmss "Good..and do you know which both?" She then pulls out a coin and throws it Tiau's way. Deep breath. Neelkan will last long enough to make it back to the Tower. He isn't some weakling who can't hold his ale (uh-huh). When the woman starts dancing towards him, he can't help but to smirk lightly at her, at least until he catches himself. No flirting with the girls. Yes. He has to remind himself right now that he doesn't like women. He's that fuzzy in the head. Yannick looks puzzled. "I thought I did...but now I'm not so certain any more." His eyes travel to Neelkan for a moment, thoughfully. Sirralene smiles warmly "Tell me what you thought.." Yannick glances around and clears his throat before leaning closer to Sirra again, lips moving quietly. Tiau catches the coin between two fingers and smiles before she flips it backwards towards the Sedai..she never breaks her stride. "One Apple Delight coming up," Juzriel calls out, as she once more approaches Neelkan's table. She pauses there long enough this time to gather up all the used mugs. Four in total. "Enjoy," she remarks to the man, though by the look of him, he's enjoyed enough already. Back to the bar again, definately beginning to look a little harried, a lock of dark hair falling to dangle annoyingly before her eyes. The mugs make the sink, and she heads to the kitchen to find out what's happening with the food. Sirralene nods and smiles "You knew.." and just reaches out in time to grab the coin. Her brow raises at the woman. Yannick smiles, eyebrow raising as the coin comes back to Sirra as well. Yes. Neelkan has enjoyed far too much. But he's determined to finish this glass, then make it to the door and outside, then further. But right now he's just consentrating on finishing the drink. He doesn't quite make it that far though. He finishes two thirds of it at least, then decides he better stop or he -really- isn't going to make it out the door. Putting the glass down he stands up, using the table as support, then moves towards the door, walking carfully as not to bump into anyone. Ah-hah! Made it to the door. Now, just have to make it out of the Plaza... Oi.
