-         3) Carry your money in secure pockets/special belt, keep your flight/train tickets separate from your money. -         6) A pocket knife, a peeler, a spoon, toothbrush, towel, a hand-washing brush, extra shoe inlay soles;
Air travel: put liquids, toothpaste, etc. in a small plastic bag.

-         7) Address book, travel journal, a notepad and two pens to take notes.

-         8) Home checklist: Stop deliveries, have post office hold mail (not cost-free), eliminate possible fire hazards (unplug appliances), lock all doors and the windows, turn off the heating, etc.
