Higher Education has an exciting opportunity for a Special Sales Supervisor in our Science, Engineering and Math (SEM) Group in our Dubuque, IA location.

Special Sales Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Develops Seasonal Sales Representatives for Engineering/Computer Science team to meet sales objectives, goals and budgets
  • Personal sales ownership for assigned key Engineering/CS sales accounts
  • Responsible for working assigned key adoptions outside of the key accounts
  • Maximize total Engineering and Computer Science sales within the assigned region
  • Drive sales success at Top Targets within the region
  • Supervise representatives to ensure that editorial objectives (finding manuscripts and reviewers) are achieved
  • Reports to the Special Sales Regional Sales Manager 


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three years sales experience
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed
  • Experience with selling technology products
  • Budget management experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Strong communication skills
  • Savvy negotiation skills
  • Successful sales record
  • Work experience with competing company preferred
