| Position Description | |
| A Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain applications that are moderate to complex in nature. The successful candidate will be a member of a team which is responsible for enhancing and developing new services within the RelayHealth real-time transaction processing systems, CRM applications, and web facing portal applications The Software Engineer: -Designs, develops, and maintains applications that are moderate to complex in nature. -Applies basic software principles, theories, and concepts in developing cost-effective and innovative web solutions for medical providers and payers. -Works closely with in-house Project Management and Application design teams to develop the next generation of RelayHealth web solutions. -Interacts effectively in a team environment. -Creates Technical specifications and possibly functional specifications. -Adheres to established CMM Development Policies. -May be required to participate in 24 x 7 on call rotation. | |
| Minimum Requirements | |
| 4+ years experience in software engineering. Prefer Java experience. | |
| Additional Knowledge & Skills | |
| The Ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Java, (J2EE, Servlets, JSP), SOAP, Web services, XML, Oracle, JBOSS and/or Tomcat. Experience in any of the following areas is desirable, but not required. -TIBCO BC, BW, and/or BE -X12 transactions -Data Transformations -Vignette Application Portal -Identity Management -Portlet development -Linux operating systems -Project management -Agile Development Process -Business Intelligence | |
