Job Description
This leadership position is the culinary expert for the department of Nutrition Services, providing leadership and guidance in the provision and promotion of high quality food and service to patients, staff and guests of Mercy. Must have proven leadership skills, be an effective team builder and project manager, be positive, enthusiastic and self-directed. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition & food science, hotel, restaurant and institutional management or related field, with a focus on culinary and management curriculum. A minimum of 3 years experience as a chef in a commercial, healthcare or educational food service operation preferred; demonstrated culinary skills in large quantity production.
