Job Description
This leadership position is responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the entire radiology service line. Must have in-depth understanding of Radiology services, as well as the associated federal and state regulations and accrediting agency requirements. The successful candidate must have proven leadership skills, be an effective team builder and project manager, be positive, enthusiastic and self-directed. Must possess strong fiscal and business management skills, e.g. budgeting, use of data in decision making, cost and revenue analysis, expense reduction strategies/activities, etc. Must have a high sense of integrity and a willingness to be candid and honest in dealings with employees and customers. Must possess the ability to work effectively with radiologists and other members of the medical staff. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or healthcare related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of previous management/leadership experience in radiology is required, preferably hospital based. Familiarity with PACS systems or similar systems preferred. ARRT registration is preferred.
