The Assistant Program Manager must possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of the tasks of the Youth Care Worker and have the ability to implement these tasks successfully. The person must be able to implement the Hillcrest milieu program methods in a therapeutic manner and at the same time be able to assign, direct and motivate the other staff in the program in their implementation. The person must be familiar with Hillcrest policies and procedures and the labor agreement as they apply to proper functioning of the milieu. It is important that the person be able to promote team cohesiveness and work in close cooperation with the Director of Residential Education.

BA in social work or related field and one year of supervisory experience preferred.
