The annual Dubai Shopping Festival extravaganza has rapidly become an internationally-known event, with thousands of bargains, prize draws, shows, promotions and some of the world's lowest prices. For views over the Gulf, Jebel Ali Hotel and Golf Resort has a nine-hole course, while the Arabian Ranches offers an authentic desert course. If skiing is your sport try sand-skiing in the desert using a snowboard. Trips can be arranged by Arabian Adventures.
