Duane
filed a complaint
with
the District Attorney's
Office
when he uncovered
evidence
suggesting that
an
Anaheim school board
member
was living
full-time
in this $1,000,000
home
in Corona del Mar with
his
wife, three children,
and
a maid. |
"Duane
Roberts lost his bid this past November for an Anaheim school board seat,
but the Green Party activist is still shaking things up. At the February
13 Anaheim City School District meeting, Roberts accused trustee Don Garcia
of making his $929,000 Corona del Mar house his main residence instead
of the $223,362 home he owns within District boundaries."

"A
neighbor of the Anaheim house said she has never seen anyone in the home.
'I've never seen a light in that house,' said Wilma Brooks, who lives across
the street. 'I've never seen anybody go in and out of the house.' Neighbors
of the Corona del Mar house said they know a doctor lives there with his
wife and children."

"It
didn't take any of us very long to determine that neither Dr. Garcia nor
his family were living anywhere near the Anaheim residence they claimed
as home as repeated visits by myself and others indicated that nobody was
ever there regardless of what time of the day or evening we went."

Duane Roberts

the Anaheim City School District, notifying her that a complaint will be
