Before you reinstall Windows checklist

___My Documents (ie anything you've made yerself, letters, graphics
   stuff, gradients, textures etc)

___Email

___Address book

___Email settings (prefrences, pop/smtp info etc)

___Bookmarks (IE and Mozilla)

___Dreamweaver configuration folder (Any programs personal settings,
   that you don't want to redo)

___Saved Games

___Downloaded "stuff" (programz, DirectX, Media Codecs, Program updates,
   service packs, etc.)

___Driver info (would be handy i guess)

___FTP (sites, logins ect)

___IRC (prefrences ect)

___Desktop (Stuff that's there, files, webpage shortcuts ect)

___Passwords to sites etc

___dial-up settings

___home networking settings

 Also download Belarc advisor, for a quick rundown of whats loaded,
 etc. on your machine.

 This is a fairly complete checklist. Print this out if you are
 planning on reformatting/reinstalling windows. Check off each thing as
 you back it up, so you don't forget anything. (Hopefully)
