She grew up in Fairfax California and has been involved in theatre for the past 15 years. She has directed 5 productions prior to Can I See Your ID? including School House Rock Live, Little Luncheonette of Terror, and I Won't Grow Up. Some of her favorite roles have included Tigerlily in Peter Pan, Charlotte Corday in Marat/Sade, Dioone in Hair (twice), Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors (three times) and Sheila in Chorus Line.
In addition to musicals, Monica is also a member of the McBride Irish Dance Academy, UCSB Tap Clup, and Phi Alpha Theta Historical Honors Society. She hopes to attend CSU Sacramento next year for graduate studies in Public History.
