Brian Mahoney (Charlie Brown) is no stranger to musical theatre. He has been performing in musicals and vocal groups since age 8. Favorite theatrical credits include Into The Woods (Baker), West Side Story (A-Rab), You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Linus), Rosencranz & Guildenstern Are Dead (Alfred), and Scapino! (Ottavio). Previously, with Destination Theater, Brian was seen in Godspell (Lamar), Names & Faces, and Can I See Your I.D.?. Around campus, you may have seen Brian performing with Naked Voices, UCSB's co-ed award-winning pop/rock a cappella group, for which he also produced their debut album, The Nude Album. April marks the debut of an original performance piece entitled Proud, which Brian has written, directed, and acted in as a Senior Honor's Project with the Dramatic Art Department. Brian will graduate in June with a BA in Dramatic Art and Sociology, and plans to move to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. |
