I'm tired and I'm weary.This old body don't move the way it used to.The hair on my head has turned to gray. My mind don't work the way it should. So if you love me, take time to give me my roses while I can still see their beauty, and smell their lovely fragrance.
For when this old body is laid to rest, the flowers sent for me I shall not see. I shall not see their beauty or smell their lovely fragrance. The tears you shed I shall not see. The kind words you speak I will not hear. The final parting words of affection
(I love you )
will not be heard by me.
So while the blood flows freely , and this old body is still warm, take time to say
I love you. Take time to shower me with tokens of affection. For when my body lies before you, and I have passed through those pearly gates, time for us
will be no more.

We take for granted the five senses given by God
The simple movement of our bodies
We take for granted the beauty of a rose
Never stopping along the way to smell or touch
We take for granted those small words of affection
"I love you"
What's saddest of all
We take each other for granted
We take for granted
That when we close our eyes at night
We'll live to see another day
Many words are left unspoken
We take for granted so many things
Before it's to late
Take time to appreciate the simple things in life
Stop putting off for another time, another day
Because tomorrow may never come
