mainly, just to let everyone know that i'm doing ok, i decided to update my page again. it has been quite a while since i've put anything new up and so i figured that there must be at least one or two people interested in some news about me. so here it goes.

work is getting pretty lame and i haven't had any real time off since i started. however lara and i now have quite a few gadgets to keep us from realizing how bored we really are. we are now the proud owners of both a super nintendo and a nintendo 64.
the super nintendo we got at a local pawn shop for $25 and the nintendo 64 i bought at london drugs for $80. we have quite a few games for the super nintendo (thanks again to the pawn shop) and turok for the nintendo 64.
also to fill in our time further, with mindless entertainment, we have cable (at least now i can watch ren and stimpy, not to mention captain power).
lara and i have also been ridding our bmx's, lara not as much as i. however lara was trying ginds last time we were at the port moody park (opposite grinds as well!).
lastly i once again have a pair of glasses so that i don't have to spend 14 hours a day feeling my contacts scratch up my eyes. in addition to buying stupid things to entertain us lara and i have gone to a few rock and roll shows. andrew w.k., the hives (again), d.o.a. with my friend chris' band crowned king, as well as and you will know us by the trail of dead.
the trail of dead show i saw without lara, lara went to the orchestra with her mother that night, so i went with lara's cousin's boyfriend, justin. just so you know, the trail of dead have a cool sounding metal name that doesn't reflect the type of music that they play at all. it does however reflect the fact that their live show kicks ass.
andrew w.k.'s live show also rocks, unfortunately his music leaves a lot to be desired (i think they were playing off a dat tape). there is something to be said for any performer that hits himself on the head continuously, does head high kicks and lifts members of the audience up on his shoulders.
for anyone coming to visit us this summer i should mention i have bought furniture. the living room now has two couches, one being a futon (no more folding lawn chairs for us), as well the dining area also has a table.
