if you think the place that you ride or skate is sketchy then leeside would be a punch in the teeth to you. this place on a good day can be described as a dump, and it kicks ass. leeside is the only place in vancouver that you can ride when it rains. this is due to the fact that it's in a tunnel, and no i'm not going to tell you where it is. everyone who should know about it does, and a few people who shouldn't know about it do as well.
leeside was origionally the project os some skaters long ago. aparently somehow some guy named lee was involved hence the 'lee' in the name. if you're wondering where the 'side' came from you definitely should take some geography classes, or at the very least go study an atlas.
in the last few months this tunnel has become the spot i most frequent with my bmx, even when its not raining, this is due to the fact that its one of the few places to ride that's light at night.
