one more year. one more new years.

not a lot happened this new years, ozzy came out to visit and party it up. the partying it up part never really happened. maybe its just the fact that i'm bitter about missing five back to back episodes of dr.who (one of the finest british sci-fi shows ever produced). you see i made the mistake of going along with lara and osgood to a house party. the house party of one of lara's co-workers, teenage drunkeness and pot smoking is not my idea of a good time - it wasn't even my idea of a good time in high school.
christmas was a bust too, it's just not the same without a good dose of family and friends. we did buy a christmas tree however, half price, and i was able to put all of my star trek ornaments on it.
ozzy helped us purchase a dvd player as well (it plays mp3's!).

january isn't going all together poorly however. i do finally have my bmx together and i have been riding it a fair amount. so far i can do 50-50's on small boxes coping etc., double peg stalls and can ride fakie off small transitions a little. i'm currently working on bar spins, manuals and a few other tricks.
i also got out and shot some skateboarding again, it's been a while.
lara's hair is now short and red(/purple) and mine is long(er) and black - figure that one out.
