here's the lowdown: jamie and i decided to hit the new skaters up in crofoot the other night (thursday the 9th) so we headed up there, myself riding as passenger on jamie's bike.
we entered crowfoot through the road that goes past the car dealerships as to avoid the fresh oil that was being laid down on nose hill drive. we then turned onto the road that travels east past the new denny's. jamie entered the left lane and began to accelerate, at this point we began to come up on a cyclist on a parallel course traveling into the intersection we had just reached. it was at this point that the cyclist decided to travel from the far right lane through the left lane and on through the intersection, all without even thinking to check for oncoming vehicles of any sort(of which there were a few and coming from more than one direction). it was a this point that the collective mass of jamie his honda shadow and myself stopped his journey. this was due to the fact that by not checking for any traffic he had thrown himself directly into us(not just in front of us; into us) giving jamie less than no time to react and so causing us to crash.
needless to say both jamie and i are now short on several layers of skin, and jamie's hand has also become infected(more about that as i get more info, he went to the doctor today i believe). my only question is was the guy trying to kill himself or was he just as stupid as everyone else on this planet?
